Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of national regulations relating fishing vessel safety, obtain an overview of the implementation of regulations relating fishing vessel safety in the Pekalongan Archipelago Fishing Port and analyze alternative solutions in order to achieve optimization of the application of national regulations relating fishing vessel safety. The method used in this research is descriptive method that is featured a case study with Likert Scale and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP)done to be data analyze. The results showed that only the Minister of Communications Decree No.KM 46 Year 1996 regarding Seaworthiness Certification of Fishing Vessels that discussed the safety of fishing vessels. Implementation of regulations related to safety of fishing vessels in the Pekalongan Archipelago Fishing Port within 5 (five) years ranged between 69.31% - 73.08%, it indicates that the rate of application of relevant regulations on the safety of fishing vessels belonging to the Pekalongan Archipelago Fishing Port in both categories based on predefined criteria weighting. Which occupies the first priority action to achieve the optimization of the application of relevant regulations on fishing vessel safety in the Pekalongan Archipelago Fishing Port compliance requirements with the characteristics and conditions of fishing vessels and manning with the priority vector value 0.55. The second priority isthe rules firmness relating safety of fishing vessel from the state with the priority vector value 0.29 and the third priority is the seriousness to the implementation by relevant parties such as the Unit Operator Port (Harbourmaster and Marine Inspector) with the priority vector value 0.16.

Abstract

Dalam perekonomian dunia, peranan penting dimainkan oleh Usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM), namun mereka kerap menghadapi kendala untuk mempertahankan daya saing serta menciptakan inovasi yang berkesinambungan. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah guna mengetahui bagaimanakah penerapan sistem informasi manajemen (MIS) mampu dijadikan sebagai katalis guna mendorong inovasi produk ataupun layanan UKM di berbagai industri. Riset ini memperoleh hasil bahwasanya efektivitas dalam penerapan SIM memungkinkan pergerakan informasi secara cepat dan akurat, memungkinkan ketepatan waktu dalam pengambilan keputusan, serta memungkinkan karyawan untuk memiliki partisipasi yang lebih besar dalam proses inovasi. memungkinkan pemilik bisnis guna mampu mengidentifikasi tren pasar beserta perubahan kebutuhan pelanggannya. Hasil analisis tersebut mampu memandu strategi inovasi secara tepat sasaran dan efektif. Singkatnya, dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan sistem informasi manajemen yang cermat mampu UKM jadikan sebagai sumber daya berharga guna mendorong inovasi produk dan layanan. Lewat penggunaan teknologi informasi secara bijaksana, mampu memperkuat posisi UKM di pasar serta mempertahankan pertumbuhan yang berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Recently, the construction of high-rise buildings has been increasing significantly along with economic growth. Therefore, electricity is also going up due to the energy demand of the building. The air conditioning system is the enormous energy consumption in high buildings. The green building concept has been introduced regarding the energy efficiency of a high-rise building. This study investigated the energy consumption in a high building (47 floors) using the load optimization method for the chiller system. The load optimization was conducted by configuring five chillers systems consisting of integral compressors, cooling towers, and pumps. This study obtained the decreasing energy consumption by the chiller's operation load sequencing based on 24-hour data optimization. Optimized chiller performance satisfied the green building standards. However, load optimization on high buildings is highly recommended as an effective way to achieve green building status. Further research is recommended for implementing such optimization at other facilities, such as industrial plants, hospitals, airports, and manufacturing plants.

Abstract

Banjir pada lahan pertanian terbatas di wilayah Gunung Roay dapat diatasi melalui pemanfaatan teknologi lubang resapan biopori. Kegiatan PkM bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat Gunung Roay dalam menanggulangi banjir melalui pemanfaatan lubang resapan biopori. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, sosialisasi, demo plot, dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan memberikan dampak pada pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan masyarakat mengenai manfaat, cara kerja, pembuatan, dan penerapan lubang resapan biopori. Sebelum kegiatan dilaksanakan, mayoritas masyarakat belum mengetahui manfaat, cara membuat, dan mengaplikasikan biopori. Berakhirnya kegiatan ini menghasilkan mayoritas masyarakat mengetahui, memahami, dan ingin menerapkannya secara mandiri. Teknologi ini mampu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam konservasi air dan tanah secara berkelanjutan.
