Mathematics learning in class VA to Elementary School 4 Central Metro was not optimal and studentsachievment was still low. The purpose of this research was to increase students learning result by implementing the cooperative learning make a match type. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Stages of each cycle were planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were obtained through non-test and test techniques using the observation sheet and questions test. Data were analyzed by using qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this research showed that the implementation of problem based learning model and audio visual media in mathematics studies learning can increase students activity and learning result.Pembelajaran matematika di kelas VA SD Negeri 4 Metro Pusat belum optimal, hasil belajar siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus.Tahapan setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data diperoleh melalui teknik non tes dan tes dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes.Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe make a matchdalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, make a match.
