<![CDATA[The problem of this research was the low learning outcomes of mathematics student. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of contextual approach with realia media to learning outcomes of mathematics. The type of research was experiment with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research were 63 students, the sample was determined using purposive sampling with. The result showed there was the influence on the application of contextual approach with realia media to learning outcomes of mathematics, this is indicated by the result of hypothesis testing using t-test pooled varians obtained data tcount 2,617 ttable 2,000 (with α = 0,05). Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pada penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan menggunakan media realia terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen dengan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 63 orang siswa, sampel penelitian menggunakan sampling purposive. Setelah melalui teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik tes dan teknik analisis data, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan pendekatan kontekstual dengan menggunakan media realia terhadap hasil belajar matematika, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik t-test pooled varians diperoleh data thitung 2,617 ttabel 2,000 (dengan α = 0,05).
