Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student activity. Many factors influence the results of student learning, including learning system used in presenting the subject matter inappropriate, as well as the lack of students understand the concepts being taught. Based on the results of the pre-survey, retrieved the data value of the Mid Semester Even-Numbered Years Lessons 2014/2015 that of the 23 students there are 13 students who are learning or mastery of 56,52%. It takes the efforts of teachers to choose the model of learning material appropriate to each lesson. For the average activity of students obtained an increase in the activity of learning from 52,42% on cycle I became 64,2%5 in cycle II. As for the student learning outcomes there is also increased, the average results of the learn cycle I is 63,54, while on cycle II increased to 70,65 and success of the student learning at the end of the cycle reaches 81,09. It was concluded that the reciprocal teaching model, can improve the learning results of activity and grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Metro.

Abstract

The research objective is to improve student mathematics learning outcomes by applying the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. This type of research method is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in 2 cycles with stages of each cycle namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in the form of non-test techniques and test techniques. Data collection tool uses observation sheets and formative tests. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis techniques and quantitative analysis. Increasing the percentage of students' KKM completeness learning outcomes from pre-action activities and each cycle. The average increase in student learning outcomes from pre-action was 51.07, whereas in the first cycle the average learning outcomes were 78.85 and the second cycle was an average learning outcomes of 83.55. The results showed that the application of the RME approach could improve mathematics learning outcomes of students of class XI of SMA N 3 Metro.

Abstract

Appropriate learning models contribute to student learning interest in math. The purpose of this study is to describe the difference in effectiveness between scientific approach based on group investigation and discovery in terms of student's interest in learning. The research that is conducted is quasi experimental research and the design used is 2 x factorial description. In experimental class I that apply scientific approach model based on study group investigation obtained the average value of learning outcome of 66.60 while in the experimental class II applying the approach Science-based discovery learning obtained the average value of posttest of 76.28. Based on the marginal rate, the scientific approach to discovery-based learning on moderate interest in learning outcomes is higher than the learning outcomes at high and low interest. In the scientific approach based on group study investigation and discovery learning there are differences in average learning outcomes between high, medium and low interest. Scientific approach based on group investigation learning on higher interest in learning outcomes is higher than moderate and low interest.

Abstract

Era yang serba menggunakan ICT saat ini, menuntut juga pelaku industri kecil untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam bidang teknologi komunikasi dan informasi. Internet menciptakan lingkungan bisnis yang tidak lagi mementingkan waktu dan jarak. Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah yang dihadapi home industri keripik pisang arjuna; 1) Home industri keripik pisang arjuna dalam hal memasarkan produk yang dihasilkan belum memanfaatkan penjualan secara online yaitu dengan menggunakan e-commerce. 2) Home industri keripik pisang arjuna belum melakukan pembukuan dengan baik dalam kegiatan produksinya. Adapun yang menjadi tujuan dari pengabdian adalah; 1) Mitra diberikan pelatihan e-commerce hal ini dilakukan untuk mitra memasarkan produknya peda khalayak ramai melakukan ICT. 2) Mitra diberikan pendampingan, kegiatan ini bertujuan agar mitra dapat membukukan semua kegiatan yang khususnya berkaitan dengan keluar masuk keuangan. Pelatihan dan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan maka diperoleh kesimpulan Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada mitra keripik pisang arjuna mampu menginovasi pemasaran yang awalnya konvensional menjadi pemasaran yang memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi yaitu dengan melakukan pemasaran elektronik atau juga disebut E-commerce.

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student creativity. The learning model compared were discovery, group investigation and conventional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population was the students of Junior High School in Surakarta city on academic year 2012/2013. The samples of this research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples consist of 281 students who were divided into 94 students in the first experiment class, 94 students in the second experiment class, and 93 students in the control class. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the discovery learning model results in better learning achievement than the group investigation and conventional learning model. The group investigation learning model results in an equal learning achievement to the conventional learning model, (2) the students having high level of creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity, (3) on the discovery learning model, students having high creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity and students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low creativity. On the group investigation model, students in each level of creativity have the same learning achievement, (4) the students who were tought with the discovery learning model have better learning achievement than those taught with the group investigation and conventional learning model in the category of having high level of creativity. The students who were tought group investigation and conventional model results in an equal learning achievement in the category of having high level of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity in each learning model.Key words: discovery, group investigation, learning achievement, and creativity

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) Menghasilkan produk bahan ajar matematika berbasis android dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi koordinat Kartesius kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah, 2) Mengetahui kualitas produk yang dilihat dari tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan bahan ajar matematika berbasis android dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi koordinat Kartesius kelas viii SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunkan adalah lembar angket validasi ahli dan lembar angket respon siswa. Teknik analisis data mencakup analisis data validasi dan analisis data respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validasi yang dilakukan oleh 2 ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 83,50% dengan kategori kevalidan sangat valid, dan hasil validasi dengan 2 ahli media diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 87,00% dengan kategori kevalidan sangat valid. Hasil dari keempat validasi diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,25% dengan kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil dari 5 siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 83,50% dengan kategori kepraktisan sangat praktis, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar matematika berbasis android dengan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada materi koordinat Kartesius sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: android; bahan ajar; pengembangan; realistic mathematics education (RME) ABSTRACT This research aims to; 1) Producing android-based mathematics teaching material products with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the Cartesian coordinate material for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah, 2) Knowing the quality of the product as seen from the level of validity and practicality of android-based mathematics teaching materials with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on the Cartesian coordinate material for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kota Gajah. This study uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implementation, Evaluation)development model. The data collection instruments used were expert validation questionnaire sheets and student questionnaire sheets. Data analysis techniques include validation data analysis and student response data analysis. Based on the results of the study showed that the validation carried out by 2 material experts obtained an average percentage of 83.50% with a very valid validity category, and the results of validation with 2 media experts obtained an average percentage of 87.00% with a very valid validity category. The results of the four validations obtained an average percentage of 85.25% with a very valid category. While the results of the small group trial of 5 students in SMP Negeri 1 Kota Gajah obtained an average percentage of 83.50% with the category of very practical.So it can be concluded that Android-based mathematics teaching materials with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to the material Cartesian coordinates are very valid and very practical to use in the learning process. Abstract

Muhammadiyah Metro University is one of the Islamic campuses in Lampung Province which has the vision of "Center of Professional, Modern and Enlightening Professional Excellence". Therefore, as a UM Metro lecturer, you are required to develop and apply technology-oriented science based on Islamic values that can be useful and applicable in the business and industrial world. This research is a development research, the product produced in this research is the Digital Textbook of Entrepreneurship which is accompanied by Islamic values to increase the prophetic value in entrepreneurship courses. The development of this digital textbook follows the ADDIE model development procedure. Based on research on validation analysis on the development of digital textbooks accompanied by Islamic values to increase the prophetic value in entrepreneurship courses developed using the ADDIE method through validation tests with the assessment sheet instrument, the average score is 88.5% with valid categories based on the value aspect. Islamic, media aspects and material aspects and are suitable for use in learning.Keywords: Research and Development, Digital Textbook, Entrepreneurship

Abstract

Era of all-use ICT today, it also requires small-scale industry players to improve their capabilities in the field of information communication and technology. The internet creates a business environment that no longer emphasizes time and distance. Based on the background of the problems faced by the home industry of arjuna banana chips; 1) Banana arjuna chips home industry in terms of marketing the products produced have not utilized online sales by using e-commerce. 2) Home industry of arjuna banana chips has not done a good bookkeeping in its production activities. As for the goal of service is; 1) Partners are given e-commerce training, this is done for partners to market their products to the general public through ICT. 2) Partners are given assistance, this activity aims to enable partners to book all activities specifically related to their financial entry and exit. The training and service that has been carried out concluded that PKM activities carried out through training and mentoring to partners of arjuna banana chips are able to innovate initially conventional marketing into marketing that utilizes technological developments, namely by doing electronic marketing or also called E-commerce.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning is still a subject that is considered difficult for students because it is considered incompatible between theory and practice. Ease of access to information technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is considered to be one of the hopes in achieving learning success, especially in entrepreneurship courses. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of digital entrepreneurship teaching materials accompanied by Islamic values in entrepreneurship courses. This research involved 31 students taking entrepreneurship courses at one of the universities in Indonesia. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative using percentages. The instrument used was a survey questionnaire in the form of a Google form which was distributed to students 5 times in 10 meetings. The results show that digital entrepreneurship teaching materials are interesting and help students understand the material. Students' difficulties were seen at the beginning of the meeting in using digital entrepreneurship teaching materials, but over time students began to get used to and easily use digital teaching materials. The implementation of digital entrepreneurship teaching materials accompanied by Islamic values in lectures has proven to support interactions between lecturers and students and is able to improve the independent learning process for students so that they become more effective and efficient. Keywords : digital entrepreneurship teaching materials; implementation; Islamic values
