Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in the form of islamic mathematics learning module through guided inquiry approach in the setting set subject. This research method is Borg and Gall method that modified by Sugiyono. Stages performed only from stage 1 to stage 7 of potential and problems, data collection, product design, product validation, product revision, product trial, product revision. Based on the validation of material experts obtained the results of 80.83%, media experts obtained 88.89%, linguists obtained 80.95%, Islamic scholars obtained 76.67% thus developed products declared eligible for use. After validation of the product to the expert lecturer then the product is tested by educator in the field of mathematics study and the learner. Response educator in the field of mathematics study Obtained percentage of 85.49% with the criteria "Very Interesting", to determine the response of learners to the module developed conducted extensive trials to learners, with the results of the response learners show 89.01% percentage with criteria "Very Interesting ". The result of the assessment of the user response states that the module developed is very interesting and feasible to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the andragogical learning theory approach on students' ability to solve mathematical questions in terms of student gender. This type of research is a quantitative study with an experimental method. The population of this study was all class X of SMA N 14 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2018/2019. The sampling technique in this study used cluster random sampling. The analysis technique used in this study is a two-way variance analysis with cells not equal to a significant level of 5%. Based on the results of two-way variance analysis with unequal cells, it was found that: (1) there was an influence of andragogical learning theory approach on students 'ability to solve mathematical questions, (2) there was a gender influence on students' ability to solve math problems, (3) there was no interaction between andragogical learning theory approach with gender on students' ability to solve math problems

Abstract

Beragam kondisi akademis mahasiswa mengakibatkan perbedaan waktu yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan skripsi. Ada mahasiswa yang dapat menyelesaikan skripsi tepat enam bulan sesuai dengan target akademik universitas, tetapi ada juga yang kurang atau lebih dari enam bulan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi lama penyelesaian skripsi mahasiswa anatar lain adalah topik penelitian, jenis penelitian, jenis data, IPK, bidang keahlian dosen pembimbing, jenis kelamin mahasiswa dan jenis kelamin dosen pembimbing. Tujuan tulisan ini adalah mengkaji model terbaik untuk memprediksi atau menggambarkan lama penyelesaian skripsi mahasiswa berdasarkan faktor-faktor tersebut di atas. Beberapa faktor tersebut mempunyai bentuk data kualitatif (kategorik), salah satu metode untuk mengkuantitatifkan atribut yang bersifat kualitatif dengan cara membentuk variabel yang sifatnya artifisial (dummy) ke dalam model persamaan regresi dengan mengambil nilai 1 dan 0. Variabel dummy sering juga disebut variabel boneka, binary, kategorik atau dikotom. Sehingga analisis yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan hubungan suatu variabel tak bebas Y dengan menggunakan satu atau lebih variabel bebas X dalam tulisan ini adalah analisis regresi dummy. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh persamaan model terbaik dalam memprediksi lama penyelesaian skripsi yaitu  dimana X1adalah variable besar IPK mahasiswa.

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts is one of the mathematical skills that must be mastered in learning mathematics. Self-efficacy is a feeling of confidence to solving a problem. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design. The purpose of this study are to find out the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model is more effective than conventional learning models, to find out the differences between students who have self-efficacy moderate and low on understanding mathematical concepts, and to know the interaction learning models and self-efficacy to wards understanding mathematical concepts. The population in this study were VII grade students of MTsN 2 Bandar Lampung, with research samples namely VII A as the experimental class and VII I as the control class. Data analysis techniques used normality test with Liliefors test and homogeneity test with Bartlett test. The hypothesis test used is a two-way unequal cell ANAVA test and a further test using a double comparative test using the Scheffe method. Based on the analysis and discussion of the calculation of research data, it was concluded that: First, mathematics learning using learning models was visualization auditory kinesthetic more effective than conventional learning models for understanding mathematical concepts. Second, understanding mathematical concepts of students who have self-efficacy moderate is better than low. Third, the results of the analysis show that there is no interaction between the learning model and the classification of self-efficacy to wards understanding mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk: menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaranguided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Dan minat belajar peserta didik. Serta menganalisa kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan minat belajar peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik Pengumpulan Data dengan Tes berupa soal essay (uraian), Tes ini terdiri dari pretest dan posttest.Teknik Analisis Data Uji Prasyarat Analisis dengan Uji Normalitas dan Uji Homogenitas. Uji Hipotesis dengan Uji Manova. Hasil analisis penelitian bahwa saat berlangsungnya penelitian dengan menggunakan model guided discovery learning adalah perlunya waktu cukup banyak dan model pembelajaran guided discovery learning harus memiliki kesiapan yang lebih matang, karena jika tidak maka pendidik akan mengalami kesulitan ketika peserta didik berada dalam kelompok. Terdapat pengaruh model guided discovery learning terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Tunas Darma Tanjung Bintang

Abstract

Media Islamic Math e-Comic is a mathematical comic with Islamic nuances that has mathematical problem solving with clear illustrations and problem-solving methods according to indicators that can improve students' mathematical communication skills. This study aims to determine how much the increase in mathematical communication skills in the use of Islamic Math e-Comic media on the subject of flat side space for class VIII. The media is developed through stages in the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This type of research is Quasy Experiment by giving pretest and posttest questions on small-scale tests and large-scale tests. Then, the effectiveness test of the use of Islamic Math e-Comic media was carried out using the Effect Size test, obtaining results of 0.53 with the "medium" criteria. This shows an increase in the value obtained by students after using the Islamic Math e-Comic media on the flat side space building material.

Abstract

Kemampuan numerik penting dalam pembelajaran matematika karena mencakup kemampuan siswa dalam menghitung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RADEC dan IQ siswa terhadap kemampuan numerik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy eksperimental design menggunakan posttest only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA di Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 57 siswa 31 di kelas eksperimen dan 26 di kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan two way Anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC dan IQ siswa berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan numerik siswa dan tidak adanya interaksi antara model pembelajaran RADEC dan IQ siswa terhadap kemampuan numerik.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students High Order Thinking Skills through the application of the Group to Group Exchange learning model. The research method used is a quasi-experimental model with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group research design and a sampling technique using Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed that based on the research results obtained during the study, the average N-Gain Score for the experimental group using the Group to Group Exchange learning model was 59% with a minimum N-Gain Score of 51% and a maximum of 67%. While the average N-Gain Score control group with the Direct Instruction learning model is 39% with a minimum N-Gain Score of 34% and a maximum of 45%. This means that the Group to Group Exchange (GTGE) learning model is quite effective compared to the Direct Instruction (DI) learning model to improve students High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS).
