Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of authoritarian parenting on students' learning motivation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population of all students in class IX and a sample of 23 students, with purposive sampling method, data collection used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used the SPSS Version.20 program. The results showed that there was an effect of authoritarian parenting on students' learning motivation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh based on r results or person correlation of 0.654 indicating a perfect correlation interval. R count (0.654) > R table (0.413). With these results, there is an effect of authoritarian parenting on learning motivation. The results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination or R Square of authoritarian parenting contributed to the increase in learning motivation by 42.8%. This shows the magnitude of the increase in learning motivation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh. a significant value of 0.000, compared to a significance level of 0.05 (5%) a significant value less than 0.05 (%) Based on the calculation results, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the working hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that there is an influence of authoritarian parenting on Shiva's learning motivation at MTsN 4 Banda Aceh by 42.8%.

Abstract

This article aims to provide information about advances in information and communication technology, the number of Internet users is increasing rapidly. Almost everyone in the world uses the internet in their daily life. Technological developments also affect the implementation of guidance and counseling services, especially in schools. In the era of globalization, there is a great demand for online counseling and cyber counseling by counselors and counseling teachers who can provide services regardless of distance and time. According to the survey results, cyber counseling services are considered effective because they provide opportunities for counselors and students to provide counseling that is not limited by distance and time. There are several stages of cyber counseling services used by counselors. Various models are used to conduct online consultations, including email, Facebook, asynchronous chat, riliv applications, video conferencing, mobile phones, and websites. Supervisors and counselors are expected to continue to improve their abilities in utilizing information and communication technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of Trait and Factor counseling in increasing the Self-Confidence of students at MTsN 4 Pidie and SMP Negeri 4 Sakti, by helping students to increase their self-confidence in the learning process at school and outside of school. Knowing the condition of students' self-confidence is still at a low level, counseling is given to increase self-confidence. The research method used was pre-experimental designs with one group pretest-posttest design. The results of the study showed that students with low self-confidence, lacked focus during PBM, students were passive and indifferent during the teaching and learning process, were not enthusiastic about participating in school activities, there were still many students who cheated when there were assignments. But problems can be overcome by providing Trait and Factor counseling, students are given treatment through Trait and Factor counseling with self-confidence material. The results obtained were an increase in scores from the initial pretest and posttest results at the end.
