Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether the assumption of financialcompensation, non financial compensation and physical working area have direct andsignificant impact to the employee performance in terms to achieve production target. Thisresearch was conducted by taking sample of 73 respondents. Data collected by using aquestionnaire form filled with list of questions and data analysis technique is using pathanalysis with SPSS 20.00 for Windows.The production target must be emphasizing to achieve by a management ofproduction line and can be achieve if the employee performance of Finishing section, PT.Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper, Perawang, working together to achieve the goals that havebeen settled by top management. Higher level of financial compensation, higher level ofnon financial compensation and better physical working area will also increase the level ofemployee performance to achieve production target of Finishing section, PT. Indah KiatPulp and Paper, Perawang Mill.Based on the path analysis result, it was proven that financial compensation, nonfinancial compensation and working area have direct and significant impact to theemployee performance to achieve production target to the employee of Finishing section,PT. Abstract

This study aims to examine the leadership style and organizational communication pattern in the Converting Department, PT. IPP. The leadership elements described are at the general manager and manager levels. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative methods. The data used are primary and secondary data collected through observation supported by interviews, library research, and document analysis. Data and information obtained from the employee of Converting Department, PT. IPP, with as many as 22 informants consisting of the employee from each level of position. Leadership style at the Converting Department, PT. IPP, is centered on characteristics of existing leaders with the most dominant leadership style is exploitive-authoritative because it is attached to the top leader. The existing leadership style is not quite ideal to face challenges in the future. For internal organizational communication, patterns occur either downward communication, upward, horizontal and cross-channel.

Abstract

There is a view that women, especially in Indonesia, have the main task, namely as housewives, this view continues to be entrenched and rooted in life in Indonesia, to this day many have such assumptions. This condition supports the low Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) for women, which is lower than men. Over time and increasing awareness of the role of women, social changes occur in society. The role of women in the family economy continues to increase, the role of women is seen in their participation in building the nation's economy through MSMEs. However, there are obstacles in the form of gaps in mastering technology, especially for women of the baby boomers generation. To improve the ability of baby boomers to maximize business-supporting digital technology, training and providing information related to digital technology and digital marketing is carried out. This activity was carried out smoothly, the owner who is a generation of baby boomers is expected to succeed in reducing the gap in the use of digital technology through this activity.

Abstract

Purpose – The study aims to examine the financial performance of firms listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index between 2018 and 2020 using the Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) methods. Methodology/approach – The study is a descriptive quantitative study with the population is all companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index in 2028-2020. The purposive sampling method employed and determined the sample of seven companies. The data gained from the company's financial statements, accessed at www.IDX.co.id. Findings – According to the findings of this study, the company's financial performance using the EVA method is positive (EVA>0), indicating that the company can generate economic value added. With a positive number (MVA>0), the financial performance of the MVA is similarly good. It signifies that the company can generate market value-added and has managed to expand investor wealth. Novelty/value – The concept of measuring financial performance based on Value-added (economic value added - EVA and Market Value added - MVA) to overcome the limitations of financial ratio analysis. These concepts are crucial indicators of an investment's ability to create wealth. By using EVA and MVA, this study examined the financial performance of companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the quality of employee work life, training and leadership on employee performance at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at Fox Hotel Pekanbaru with a research sample of 76 employees of Fox Hotel Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling in which the entire population in this study was used as the research sample. The results of this study indicate that: 1). The quality of employee's work life has a significant effect on employee performance; 2). Training has a significant effect on employee performance; 3). Leadership has a significant effect on employee performance; 4). The quality of employee work life, training and leadership simultaneously affect employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Determinant Factors on Bank Syariah Indonesia's (BSI) Customer Loyalty and falls into the quantitative research area. The customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Riau are the sample for this study. The number of samples used in this study was 200, which met the standards. The data was gathered through the distribution of questionnaires, and the secondary data consisted of data or documents that supplemented and enhanced the primary data from books, magazines, journals, and other sources. The WarPLS 7.0 program performs data analysis using Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). Loyalty is the dependent variable in this study, while service quality and trust are the independent variables. These variables assess using a Likert scale using a 1-5 scale to evaluate the indicators of each variable. The results reveal no positive and significant effect between service quality and customer loyalty. However, there is a positive and significant effect between customer loyalty and trust. The study results add to the academic literature, mainly by providing new discussions about theories and literature related to the Determinants of Customer Loyalty Factors in Indonesian Islamic Banks (BSI), which is infrequent.

Abstract

Pencapaian kinerja karyawan yang belum maksimal dalam rangka mencapai target yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan dapat dipengaruhi oleh komunikasi dan kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja serta komunikasi terhadap kinerja yang dimediasi oleh kepuasan kerja. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 44 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran angket kepada para responden. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis jalur menggunakan software SmartPLS dan SPSS. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu (1) komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan, artinya semakin baik komunikasi sesama karyawan, maka kepuasan kerja juga meningkat; (2) Komunikasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang memiliki semakin baik komunikasi maka kinerja karyawan juga akan meningkat; (3) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, maknanya semakin baik kepuasan kerja karyawan maka kinerja karyawan juga akan semakin baik dan meningkat; kemudian, (4) Kepuasan kerja mampu menjadi pemediasi pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Pengurus pondok harus mampu meningkatkan fungsi manajemen, menjadi kewajiban dari setiap pengurus untuk mendorong dan memotivasi setiap santrinya khususnya santriwati untuk mampu mengembangkan ide-ide kreatif dan mempunyai usaha yang baik sehingga dapat mengembangkan kemauan dan bakat dalam diri santri tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menanamkan motivasi wirausaha pada santriwan dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Dhuafa Ashabul Kahfi Pekanbaru dan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar pada santriwan dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Dhuafa Ashabul Kahfi Pekanbaru. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh santriwan dan santriwati Pondok Pesantren Dhuafa Ashabul Kahfi Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tim dosen dalam upaya menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak sekolah untuk meningkatkan jiwa wirausaha dan minat belajar. Berdasarkan data hasil pengabdian di lapangan yang penulis lakukan, bahwa motivasi santiwan dan santriwati dalam berwirausaha di Pondok Pesantren Dhuafa Ashabul Kahfi Pekanbaru adalah santiwan dan santriwati mempunyai kemampuan untuk hidup mandiri, menambah uang saku dan menambah pengalaman hidup mandiri.

Abstract

Para pelaku usaha dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam berkreasipada era globalisasi dan pandemi Covid-19. Seiring dengan perkembanganyang terjadi, saat ini masyarakat di Indonesia secara umum telah menjadikancoffee shop sebagai salah satu tempat penghilang penat sekaligus tempatbersosialisasi. Para pemilik coffee shop harus mampu memberikan danmenawarkan suatu hal yang berbeda serta mulai konsisten dalam menerapkan strategi bisnis yang dibutuhkan dalam menghadapi pesaing dan mampu memberi nilai tambah kepada konsumennya. Salah satu coffee shop di Pekanbaru yang cukup diminati oleh pelanggan saat ini adalah usaha Coffee Shop OFFTRACK, Pekanbaru. Manfaat yang diberikan pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini untuk memberikan kontribusi positif kepada pihak mitra (Coffee shop OFFTRACK) sebagai mitra sekaligus pelaku UKM dalam mengembangkan usahanya.
