Abstract

The performance of every kind of  industry always related to external-internal environment.  Based on that subject, this research aimed to analyze the influences of external environment factors (buyers, suppliers, techology and government) and internal environment factors (marketing, finance and production) to the performance of small business of batik in Bangkalan.  The population of this research was the small business’s manager or owner in Kecamatan Tanjung Buli Kabupaten Bangkalan.  The sample was 42 batik’s manager or owner, taken in 3 villages.  The result of this research was : buyers, suppliers, technology, marketing and production had the significant influences to the small business’s performance; and marketing had the biggest influence to the small businesss’s performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the demographic characteristics of fast food consumers and to analyze the effect of marketing mix variables (product, price, place and promotion) and environmental factors caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on consumer buying decisions for fast food. The type of data used is quantitative primary data. Primary data were obtained from distributing questionnaires to consumers who bought ready-to-eat food at Sabana Fried Chicken Restaurant, Bluru Permai Sidoarjo Branch. The sample is determined on purpose (convenience sampling). Respondents amounted to 100 people. The results showed that the demographic characteristics of fast food consumers were the majority aged 17-24 years, female, had 3-4 members in one family and had an expenditure of Rp. 1 million – Rp. 2 million in one month. Based on multiple regression analysis shows that the product factor (X1) and environmental factors (X5) have a significant effect on the decision to buy fast food (Y). While the factors of Price (X2), Place (X3) and Promotion (X4) have no significant effect. This study implies that culinary entrepreneurs need to focus on marketing to consumers who have an age range of 17 - 24 years and are female because they have a large enough market opportunity. One of the strategies carried out is by expanding product lines and collaborating with online food delivery services such as Go Food and Grab Food as a solution to the negative impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the level of feasibility and visitors' perceptions of Natural Tourism Objects and Attractions (ODTWA) Lon Malang Beach, Sampang Regency. The research method uses descriptive quantitative because it describes a condition of feasibility level and visitors' perceptions objectively based on numbers. The data collection method was carried out through interviews with 3 informants to obtain information regarding the feasibility of ODTWA and questionnaires to obtain data on visitor perceptions. The sample for the purpose of analyzing visitor perceptions is 100 respondents. The results of the study indicate that Lon Malang Beach is feasible to be developed as a tourist destination. On average, ODTWA received a "Good" rating. This means that visitors perceive Lon Malang Beach as a beautiful, clean, comfortable and safe beach. The research implication for the government and managers is to further increase the level of eligibility and visitor perceptions to become "Very Eligible" and "Very Good" for example by building homestays at tourist sites, providing Sampang culinary specialties, Sampang batik centers, and more systematic waste management involving managers. , the SMEs community and tourism visitors to Lon Malang Beach.
