Abstract

Agribusiness Tourism is a business managed by maximizing tourism-based culinary business activities. The main objective of these community activities is to accelerate the process of developing entrepreneurship oriented to local culinary products. This effort involves students of the Agribusiness Study Program Faculty of Agriculture and Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI). This activity provides experience and job opportunities for students open employment opportunities for the community and provide culinary needs in the form of traditional foods of Southeast Sulawesi (sinonggi) and healthy, fresh and delicious seafood for customers. The method of carrying out the activities consists of socializing, training, providing infrastructure and facilities, promotion, and marketing. This activity is carried out in the area of ​​embankments that were previously less productive with relatively low income. The location is in the Poasia District of Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. To accelerate the process of developing entrepreneurship, the activity is designed by changing a traditional embankment into an agribusiness tourism specific to local culinary tourism by designing a gazebo building as a place to enjoy culinary menu orders. The location has its characteristics with the design of the place based on agribusiness decorated with ornamental plants, pollution-absorbing plants, hydroponic plants, and organic vegetable plants. Visitors can enjoy the natural scenery through the embankment garden design in the form of selfie spots for visitors. The results of the implementation of the activity are in the form of a business unit "Culinary Tourism" based on culinary tourism has been opened since June 2019 by providing sinonggi menu packages and various seafood products.  ---  Wisata Agribisnis merupakan usaha yang dikelola dengan memaksimalkan kegiatan bisnis kuliner berbasis wisata. Tujuan utama pelaksanaan kegiatan masyarakat ini adalah mempercepat proses pengembangan kewirausahaan yang berorientasi pada produk kuliner lokal. Usaha ini melibatkan mahasiswa Program Studi Agribisnis, Fakultas Pertanian dan Program Studi Manajemen, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam (FEBI). Kegiatan ini  memberi pengalaman dan kesempatan kerja bagi mahasiswa, membuka lapangan kerja bagi masyarakat serta menyediakan kebutuhan kuliner berupa makanan tradional khas Sulawesi Tenggara  (sinonggi) dan sea food yang sehat, segar dan nikmat bagi pelanggan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penyediaan prasarana dan sarana, promosi serta pemasaran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di areal tambak yang sebelum nya kurang produktif dengan pendapatan yang relatif rendah. Lokasi berada di Kecamatan Poasia Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ditujukan untuk percepatan proses pengembangan kewirausahaan. Kegiatan di desain dengan mengubah tambak tradisional menjadi sebuah wisata agribisnis spesifik wisata kuliner lokal. Lokasi mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dengan desain bangunan gasebo berbasis agribisnis dengan dihiasi tanaman hias, tanaman penyerap polusi, tanaman hidroponik dan tanaman sayuran organik. Pengunjung dapat menikmati pemandangan alam melalui desain taman tambak berupa spot selfi bagi pengunjung. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah terbentuk satu unit usaha ”Wisata Agibisnis” berbasis wisata kuliner yang telah resmi dibuka  sejak juni 2019 sampai sekarang dengan menyediakan produk paket menu sinonggi dan aneka sea food.

Abstract

The performance of agricultural extension workers is the level of work success achieved by agricultural extension workers which is an important aspect that plays a role in work success and goal achievement. Performance is measured based on the abilities possessed by an individual in the form of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. The numbers of agricultural extension workers in the Sampara subdistrict under the supervision of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) of Sampara District are 17 agricultural extension workers. The condition of agricultural extension workers in the Agricultural Extension Center varies in ages, education level and working experiences. The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of performance of field agricultural extension workers (PPL) and to analyze the relationship between the characteristics of extension workers and the performance of field agricultural extension workers (PPL) in Sampara Sub district, Konawe Regency. The study employed scoring method using likert scale meanwhile measurement correlation between the characteristics of extension workers and the performance of Agricultural Extension workers through non-parametric analysis of Spearman's rank correlation test. The results of the study showed that the performance of field agricultural extension officers was in a fairly good category while the education level factors had a significant or strong relationship as shown by the Rs coefficient with value of 0.721.

Abstract

Abstrak. Permasalahan kemiskinan di wilayah pesisir Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara merupakan permasalahan yang sangat mendasar, disamping hal ini terkait dengan harkat dan martabat manusia dan bangsa, juga karena Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara merupakan provinsi yang memiliki potensi yang sangat besar pada sektor perikanan termasuk utuk pengembangan usaha budidaya rumput laut dan tataniaganya. Kondisi inimenunjukkan bahwa potensi yang sangat besar tersebut belum mampu memberikan manfaat secara optimal dan mengangkat kesejahteraanmasyarakat pesisir  termasuk pelaku usaha budidaya rumput laut itu sendiri. Hal ini didugadiakibatkan oleh pengelolaan rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara hanya terfokus padaaspek produksi dan belum beroriantasi pada pengolahan dalam suatu agroindustri. Ketiadaan agroindustri didaerah ini yang mengolah hasil produksi rumput laut menjadiproduk rumput laut lanjutan diduga menjadi penyebabnya. Namun demikian, mendirikan suatu agroindustri pengolahan rumput laut juga bukansuatu hal yang mudah karena harus mempertimbangkan banyak aspek dan didukung oleh banyak faktor serta memerlukan perencanaan yang baik dan  terstruktur. Hal inilah yang mendasari dilakukannya penelitianini.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis potensi pengembangan agroindustri rumput laut diwilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara. Tahapan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini adalah (1) tahap pendahuluan dengan melakukan studi pustaka dan penggumpulan berbagai informasi yang dapat menunjang pelaksanaan penelitian, observasi dan studi lapang; (2) penggalian data melalui wawancara dengan pelaku usaha rumput laut pada setiap tingkatan mulai dari tingkat penyedia faktor produksi, pelaku budidaya, pedagang hingga eksportir.Hasil analisis menunujukkan bahwa agroindustri rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara potensial untuk di kembangan karena kebutuan bahan baku agroindustri rumput laut lebih kecil dibanding dengan produksi rumput laut yang dihasilkan di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, dimana agroindustri rumput laut yang memproduksi rumput laut jenis Alkali Tread Cottonii (ATC) dengan kapasitas produksi 14,4 ton/bulan atau 172,8 ton/tahun membutuhkan bahan baku 557,424 ton/tahun lebih kecil dibanding produksi rumput laut yang dihasilkan Provinsi Sulawesi Tengara yaitu sebanyak 865.320 ton/tahun Kata Kunci: Potensi, pengembangan,Agroindustri, dan Rumput Laut.

Abstract

This study investigates the utilization of smart agricultural technologies to improve resource efficiency in the agro-industry, using a quantitative approach with a focus on Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis. A survey of 250 agro-industry stakeholders produced descriptive statistics showing a high mean adoption score (4.2) and a significant frequency of adoption (75%). Resource efficiency indicators, including average water use (32.5 gallons per hectare), average energy consumption (15.8 kWh per hectare), and average crop yield (2,800 kg per hectare), were also assessed. The SEM-PLS results showed strong reliability and validity of the measurement model, with positive path coefficients indicating substantial impacts of smart technology adoption on water use efficiency, energy consumption optimization, and crop yield. The model showed a satisfactory fit, and bootstrapping confirmed the robustness of the relationships. The discussion highlights practical implications for farmers, policymakers, and technology providers, emphasizing the potential for increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved yields through the adoption of smart technologies. This study contributes valuable insights to the discourse of sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

This research explores the intricate dynamics influencing the success of start-up ventures, focusing on the interactions between external environmental factors, entrepreneurial motivation, social support, and business knowledge. Through a quantitative approach and employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM), data from a diverse sample of 170 participants in Indonesia were analyzed. The results unveil significant positive relationships between sustainable marketing strategies, environmental awareness, and consumer preferences for eco-friendly products, highlighting the pivotal role of external factors and intrinsic drivers in shaping entrepreneurial endeavors. Additionally, the findings underscore the mediating role of environmental awareness in the relationship between sustainable marketing strategies and consumer preferences, emphasizing the importance of integrating sustainability principles into marketing strategies. These insights contribute to a deeper understanding of the multifaceted determinants of start-up success and offer actionable recommendations for fostering a conducive ecosystem for entrepreneurial growth and innovation in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the Agricultural extension agent’s role in developing vegetable farming in Puunggoni Village, Angata District. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. The sample in this study was 30 vegetable farmers in Puunggoni Village, Angata District, who were selected at simply random from a population of 60 people. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique used interviews using a list of questions (questionnaire) and observation. The variable used to measure the role of extension agents is farmers' perceptions of extension agents as technology transfer agents, facilitators, dynamists, and organizers. Variables are measured using the Likert Scale Summated Rating (SLR). The Likert scale in this study was used for farmers based on the answers given, which consisted of 5 categories, namely very good (score 5), good (score 4), quite good (score 3), not good (score 2), and very poor. good (score 1). The research results show that agricultural extension workers play a very good role as technology transfer agents, facilitators, and dynamists.

Abstract

The paper focuses on the impact of product innovation on financial performance. Adoption of technology plays a crucial role in driving product innovation. Measurement of product innovation is done using Likert scale with four indikators. Measurement of technology adoption is done using Likert scale with five indikators. Financial performance is measured using liquidity, solvency, profitability, and activity ratios. The study examines the impact of product innovation on financial performance. Adoption of technology and innovation in products can improve financial performance. The findings provide a basis for companies to focus on innovation and technology adoption. Practical implications include expanding innovation initiatives and investing in human resources. The study has limitations in terms of specific company context and aspects studied.
