Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of the digital age, employee empowerment within organizations has become a critical success factor. This research explores the role of online education in enhancing employee empowerment, focusing on an e-commerce company operating in Indonesia. A quantitative method approach, and a quantitative survey to collect data from 100 respondents. Findings showed that most participants perceived the online education program to have a positive impact on their empowerment. This perception underscores the value of online education in providing employees with the necessary skills, knowledge and autonomy to thrive in the digital age. This study contributes valuable insights for organizations looking to leverage online education as a means to empower their workforce and navigate the challenges of the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the economic behavior of traditional market traders in facing the existence of modern markets in Makassar City. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were traditional market traders in Makassar City totaling 5 people as the object of research. The results of the research obtained are that the existence of modern markets greatly affects the income of traditional market traders which is marked by a drastic reduction in income. As for determining the price of traditional market traders using a bargaining system and an agreement between the seller and the buyer. In improving product quality, traditional market traders sort the goods taken from the camp to avoid damage to the product. While in improving the quality of service traditional market traders serve one by one buyers, that way buyers can also ask directly about the products to be purchased.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze how environmental factors, employee social awareness, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) impact the sustainability performance of an organization or company. This study explores the complex interactions between environmental factors, employee social awareness, corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices, and their combined influence on sustainability performance in the manufacturing sector in West Java, Indonesia. In an era marked by increasing concerns about environmental sustainability and corporate responsibility, understanding the dynamics of these factors is critical for organizations seeking to balance economic success with ethical and environmental responsibility. Using a mixed methods research approach, this study combines a quantitative survey of 150 samples with qualitative insights from interviews and analysis of CSR reports from 5 informants. The findings of this study provide a holistic perspective on how these variables collectively shape sustainability performance in manufacturing companies in West Java.

Abstract

The global business landscape is characterized by rapid change and increasing complexity. In this dynamic environment, understanding firms' strategies to penetrate international markets is crucial. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to uncover the intellectual landscape of global market penetration strategies in international marketing, market-entry, and export strategies. Through careful examination of influential authors, essential works, research clusters, and emerging trends, this study offers valuable insights into the state of the field. Leading authors such as Ravi Ramamurti, Mike W. Peng, and Jean-François Hennart have significantly shaped our understanding of emerging market multinationals and internationalization strategies. Their seminal works have challenged conventional paradigms and encouraged innovative thinking. Identifying research clusters underscores the multifaceted nature of global market penetration, covering market entry modes, internationalization theory, and emerging market dynamics. Emerging digitalization, e-commerce, and sustainability trends highlight the ever-evolving international marketing landscape. The implications of this analysis extend to researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners, providing valuable guidance for future research, curriculum development, policy formulation, and strategic decision-making in the global arena.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamics between brand activism, consumer perceptions, and brand loyalty in the fast fashion industry in West Java. A diverse sample of 250 consumers provided insights into their perceptions and preferences. The study revealed that most respondents had positive perceptions of brand activism initiatives by fast fashion brands, highlighting its resonance with West Java consumers. Regression analysis confirmed a significant positive relationship between consumer perceptions of brand activism and brand loyalty. This research contributes to understanding the impact of brand activism and underscores its potential to drive brand loyalty in culturally diverse markets.

Abstract

Mie instan merupakan salah satu produk kemasan yang banyak diminati karena mudah didapat, mudah dalam penyajiannya, memiliki harga yang murah, dan memiliki rasa yang sesuai dengan selera. Hal ini mengakibatkan banyak bermunculan produk pangan luar negeri, salah satunya mie instan Korea. Adanya fenomena budaya Korean Wave atau Hallyu sangat mempengaruhi minat masyarakat khususnya kalangan muda terhadap produk mie instan Korea. Penelitian ini menjadikan mahasiswa sebagai populasi yang mewakili kalangan remaja yang mengonsumsi mie instan. . Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik PLS dan metode SEM (Structural Equation Model), dan diolah menggunakan program SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor budaya, sosial, dan psikologis mempunyai pengaruh terhadap keputusan konsumen membeli mie instan, namun faktor pribadi tidak berpengaruh karena nilai thitung lebih kecil dari nilai ttabel. Faktor yang paling mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen adalah variabel sosial.

Abstract

Blockchain technology's disruptive potential in the digital economy has spurred a surge in scholarly interest, leading to a complex landscape of research endeavors. This study employs a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to illuminate the multifaceted dimensions of blockchain's impact. Through analysis techniques and visualization tools, including VOSviewer, we uncover publication trends, influential authors, research themes, collaboration networks, and the interdisciplinary nature of blockchain research. The results reveal a steady increase in publications over the past decade, indicating growing recognition of blockchain's significance. Influential authors emerge as key contributors, shaping the research discourse and driving innovation. Diverse research themes, ranging from fintech and digital transformation to cryptocurrencies and smart contracts, underscore blockchain's applications across various sectors. Collaborative networks highlight the emergence of focused communities, fostering interdisciplinary insights. The integration of VOSviewer facilitates an exploration of these insights, offering a nuanced perspective on blockchain's disruptive potential. Our analysis contributes to a deeper understanding of the evolving landscape, informing researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders navigating the complexities of blockchain technology in the digital economy.

Abstract

This research explores the influence of startups on raising entrepreneurship awareness and enhancing digital literacy in West Java. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative in-depth interviews and focus group discussions. The study involved 300 respondents with diverse demographic characteristics, allowing for a comprehensive analysis of the startup ecosystem's impact. Quantitative findings revealed that a significant portion of the population in West Java has high levels of entrepreneurship awareness (40%) and digital literacy (35%). Moreover, 60% of respondents reported engagement with startups. Qualitative insights from interviews and focus group discussions emphasized the inspirational role of startups, their contribution to skill development, and the potential for collaboration between startups and educational institutions. The study also found that 75% of respondents perceived a positive influence of startups on entrepreneurship awareness and 70% on digital literacy. These findings underscore the critical role of startups in fostering entrepreneurship awareness and digital literacy in West Java. However, challenges such as resource limitations and the digital divide must be addressed to fully harness the benefits of startups.

Abstract

This study looks into how the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) was implemented in a West Javan manufacturing company and how it affected strategic management and organizational performance. A mixed-methods approach was used, integrating quantitative data obtained from surveys and performance measures with qualitative data from in-depth interviews and document analysis. The qualitative results draw attention to the intricate implementation process, which includes communication tactics, strategic goal-setting, and ongoing modification. Difficulties were noted, including resistance to change and worries about an increase in workload. Positive employee attitudes, greater alignment with company goals, and advancements in financial and operational measures are all indicated by the quantitative outcomes. The study offers insightful information to companies thinking about implementing BSC, highlighting the significance of open communication, staff involvement, and ongoing adaption for success.

Abstract

This study looks into how a manufacturing company in Indonesia might increase factory productivity by implementing Lean Manufacturing concepts. Employing a mixed-methods approach that blends quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the study investigates employee awareness, adoption, and perceptions of the effects of Lean techniques. The quantitative findings show that there is a significant increase in productivity, a high degree of awareness, and partial implementation. Additional correlation analysis demonstrates a strong positive association between increases in important production metrics and the degree of Lean implementation. Qualitative results emphasize the value of cultural adaptation, implementation difficulties, and successful communication outcomes. A comprehensive conversation highlights the relationship between high awareness and implementation status, highlighting the necessity of focused training and change management. The study ends with practical suggestions for maximizing Lean tactics within businesses, emphasizing the need of cultural adaptability and viewing obstacles as chances for growth.
