Abstract

SGSN (Serving GPRS Support Node) is a node which connect GSM network to GPRS network. SGSNfunctions like MSC in GSM system in monitoring MS location or mobility management, paging, datacompression, traffic calculation, charging, security and controlling data accesing prosses. SGSN is connectedbase station by using Gb interface.Data collecting in details of using GPRS service usage is needed to know how far the GPRS servicedevelopes among the customers is one of the systems used those data collecting.The population of this research is P.T Telkomsel cellular operator. The research sample is takenrandomly. Five research samples for each day in five days can be obtained. The sample taken is not based onthe used application. The research variables comprise time duration and file package.The research is conducted by quantitative methode based on the data got from P.T Telkomsel operators,then analyse toward SGSn and effect of time duration toward CDR file formation will be carried out. Theresearch data in the form of SGSN CDR output data and GPRS empirical research dat are the use of G{RS bycustomers seen from the used time duration and data volume.The result of this research will look out how far the effect of the time duration used by customers towardCDR file formation in SGSN is the research finding shows that the time duration used by customersinfluences the amount of file package formed in SGSN so that it can affect the next process. Besides, there aesome factors supporting the data sending delay technically or non technically. Another research findingshows the GPRS service quality of P.T Telkomsel bassed on the research.Based on the research results, it is suggested to do a research on charging GGSN in GPRS, chargingmechanism of each software supporting SGSN. Abstract

Softswitch merupakan konsep komunikasi masa depan yang dikembangkan dari pendekatan PSTN,VoIP, dan jaringan data. Sistem komunikasi ini dirancang untuk dapat memberikan layanan VoIP, data, danmultimedia, disamping dirancang juga untuk melakukan penetrasi terhadap PSTN dalam bermigrasi kejaringan data. Softswitch mendukung konvergensi voice dan data dalam satu platform jaringan data. Dengankemampuan yang dimilikinya, serta kemajuan teknologi DSP, kompresi voice, transport kapasitas tinggi danstandar interoperability, maka integrasi voice, data, multimedia, internet, dan PSTN ke dalam suatuinfrastruktur jaringan bersama akan menjadi kenyataan.Kata kunci : Softswitch, Bandwidth for VoIP, Next Generation Network

Abstract

High speed computer networks with a large waiting time is a common from of network in the future. In this network are commonly used TCP algorithms have difficullty in sending data. There are several algorithms that has used the BIC, CUBIC and HTCP. These algorithms needs to be tested to determine its performance when apllied to the network topology with two dumbbells, and simple network. Teh results obtained testing the algorithms is best HTCP performance by having the smallest value.

Abstract

Jaringan komputer kecepatan tinggi dengan waktu tunggu yang besar merupakan bentuk jaringan yang umum di masa depan. Pada jaringan ini algoritma TCP yang umum digunakan mengalami kesulitan di dalam melakukan pengiriman data. Ada beberapa algoritma yang telah digunakan yakni BIC, CUBIC, dan HTCP. Algoritmaalgoritma ini perlu diuji untuk mengetahui kinerjanya jika diterapkan pada jaringan dengan dua topologi yakni parkinglot dan multihome. Hasil pengujian didapatkan algoritma yang paling baik adalah BIC dengan memiliki nilai kinerja yang paling kecil pada pengujian kali ini.

Abstract

Advertisements broadcasting service on radio is required to report data after performing broadcast correctly and should be accountable to the owners of ads on the date, hours of broadcasting and the number of ads that aired under the contract. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the ads in accordance with the contract between the ads owner and the radio broadcaster. The monitoring can be done by code marking inside the ads as the identity of the owner. The insertion of the Custom DTMF code through the mixing signal was done using the principle of steganography in the time domain. This research was conducted with a variety of ads audio signal that mixed with noise signal and then analyzed regarding on the placement of the custom DTMF code. For detecting on the receiver side, the DTMF Custom signal must have the magnitude level properly. The results showed that the ads audio signal and the inserted custom DTMF codes can be read well by the detector and it wasn’t interfere the ads signal heard by the audience. Layanan siaran iklan di radio membutuhkan adanya lapor-an yang akuntabel baik mengenai hari, jam, dan berapa kali tayangan dalam sehari yang disepakati dalam kontrak antara pemilik iklan dan radio penyiar. Oleh karena itu sangat penting memonitor hal tersebut dari kedua belah pihak. Monitoring tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan mem-berikan tanda di dalam siaran iklannya. Penyisipan kode DTMF Custom melalui pencampuran sinyal ini menggu-nakan prinsip steganografi dalam kawasan waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan berbagai variasi sinyal audio yang dicampur dengan berbagai derau dan dianalisis penempatan kode DTMF Custom-nya. Untuk pendeteksian disisi penerima, sinyal DTMF Custom nya harus mempunyai level yang tepat. Hasil penelitian menun-jukkan bahwa sinyal iklan dan kode DTMF Custom yang disisipkan dapat dideteksi dengan baik oleh detector namun tidak terdengar oleh para pendengar.

Abstract

The use of some integrated circuits in an SMPS circuit are the main factor that increasing the cost. Self-oscillating feedback converter topology is a well-known circuit topology for low-cost application without using any single integrated circuit chip. In this paper, a Low Cost with high efficiency converter without any single integrated circuit component was analysed and designed. It has also multiple outputs of 3.3 V/1 A, 5 V/0.5 A, and 12 V/0.1 A so that it can be used as power supply for DVD player. Experiment results showed that it can deliver continuously output voltage as designed and a total output power of 7.3 W, with an efficiency for about 70%.

Abstract

This paper presents a design and prototyping of a Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) for Wireless Regional Area Network (WRAN) operating in TV broadcast bands between 54 MHz – 88 MHz. The LNA design was then implemented by using discrete components. Components values was obtained by utilized DC analysis according to specifications which follows the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) 802.22 standard on WRAN technical specifications. Simulation with 88 MHz produced S11 = -5.72 dB, S12 = -41.57 dB, S21 = 15.07 dB, S22 = -4.76 dB, Noise Figure (NF) = 3.9 dB, Input Third Order Intercept Point (IIP3) = 2.21 dBm, and power consumption of 45.39 mW. Experiments results on 88 MHz showed S11 = -6.13 dB and S21 = 0.74 dB.

Abstract

Metode untuk monitor dan pengukuran isyarat elektrokardigrafi (EKG) memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar pada penelitian biomedika, salah satu di antaranya adalah telemedika. Perkembangan telemedika memerlukan piranti monitor jarak jauh isyarat bioelektrik nirkabel dari pasien ke fasilitas medis. Aspek utama monitoring isyarat bioelektrik adalah perancangan analog front end, digitisasi isyarat bioelektrik, dan pengiriman isyarat digital. Piranti yang dipaparkan pada paper ini adalah sistem monitor EKG portabel sebagai piranti node dan penerimanya. Piranti ini merekam isyarat EKG dengan frekuensi cuplik yang konstan dan mencukupi, kemudian mengirimkan isyarat ke suatu piranti gateway yang terdedikasi. Sistem ini diimplementasikan pada mikrokontroler ESP32 dengan lingkungan FreeRTOS. Proses pengujian dan verifikasi dilakukan dengan pembangkit isyarat EKG komersial dan hasilnya dibandingkan dengan hasil pembacaan piranti monitor EKG komersial.
