Abstract

One unit of P3B Jawa Bali, Central Java and DI Yogyakarta region responsible for operating and maintaining the installation of electric power transmission network in Central Java and Yogyakarta. With the transmission network configuration changes for reasons of consumer needs and for the reliability of the power supply necessary to study the effect of changing the configuration of the coordinated protection system conductor. As happened in the subsystem Kudus-Jekulo-Pati is changing the configuration of the GI Jekulo single phi into a double phi. This change affects the coordination of in the subistem, which overlap in Zone 2 distance in the direction of the GI Kudus-Jekulo to Zone 2 distance relays in GI Jekulo Pati direction, it is known after the scanning process. And to anticipate the problems it is necessary to resetting or setting recalculation distance relay is in the GI Kudus-Jekulo direction, which is expected to resetting, the coordination of protection systems in the susbsistem Kudus-Jekulo-Pati as expected. Abstract

Essential Lamp (SL) is a type of low pressure mercury lamp that works on the discharge ofelectrons inside the tube and using an electronic switch equipment as a replacement ballast forlimiting the current function. Because of the working principle, the essensial lamp can beclassified as a non-linier electrical loadIn the electric power system, a non linear loads will produce an electrical power pollution.It is called harmonics. Harmonics are multiples of the frequency of a fundamental frequency ofwave. Harmonics generated by the non-linier loads that will accumulate and delivered to thepower system. So the harmonics will be able to disrupt the power quality of electrical powersystems.As a non-linear load, essential lamps produce harmonic distortion, both harmoniccurrents and voltage. In this study concluded that the different brands of essential lamp showed thedifferent value of Total HarmonicsDistortion (THD)

Abstract

Safety of storeroom is absolutely needed by every company. If there is a safe feeling, the company will not be afraid of. To reduce an afraid, it is designed a device of Monitoring safetystoreroom by using Movement Sensor ATMEGA8535 Microcontroller -based. In this last project, the writer makes that device equipped with PIR sensor which is put in the corner of the storeroom. As its process equipment, it is used ATMEGA8535 microcontroller as program centre. Then, the work method of output appearance as dot matrix, buzzer and bulb lamp is PIR sensor will detecthuman existence or not at the time of storeroom in empty situation. Furthermore, ATMEGA8535 microcontroller sends output signal through dot metric as the direction of storerooms location. After that, buzzer is as alarm and bulb lamp is as indicator lamp. Besides, reset knob is function as system reset when dot matrix, buzzer, and bulb lamp ON. Base on the research data, PIR sensor range is Horizontally about 300-1500 detected. Then, range data of PIR sensor is Vertically with Elevation and Depression which is detected. Furthermore, research data of PIR sensor is based on range 0.5-5.5 meters detected. Abstract

Efficiency needs to be done by PLN as a provider of electrical energy and of course also by the user community as consumers of electrical energy. One of the efficiency measures to conserve energy use in the community is the use of energy-efficient electical appliances (energy saver) areused both in business, commercial or industrial or domestic sector. Energy-efficient appliances are now widely sold in the wider community as they seek to offset the cost of electrical energy consumption. Equipment generally contains capacitor banks or elco (electrolyt condensator) whichcan reduce electric currents, but no significant effect on consumer savings account payments.The Study that's obout improving the power factor has been more on the side of the electricity supplier. both in transmission and distribution. On the load side (electricity consumers), the measurement of power factor and load balancing only on the main panel or distribution ponel.so that the measured accumulated loads of different types of loads.So far research on increasing the load power factor only produces the resulting level of power efficiency and whether this level can still be expected usefulness in relieving the financial burden of the electricity customer bills or not. So we need to do a study b determine the efficiencyof the dominant power generated by the load in conjunction with electric power triangle.Keywords : Power Capacitor, Load, efficiency of electric power

Abstract

The voltage wave distortion that occurs in the electric power system will adversely affect the operation of the power system and provide an adverse effect on the loads using the voltage. The voltage wave distortion is measured by the amount of harmonic distortion (Total Harmonics Distortion of Voltage, THD V). The level of THD V in the electric power system should always be monitored in order to anticipate the adverse effects. One method of monitoring the harmonic level is by predicting THD V. This research produces a prediction system of voltage harmonics in power system using Support Vector Machine with Gaussian Kernel RBFfunction. SVM is an intelligent machine system that has been proven superior when applied as a prediction method. This study uses three schemes in testing SVM system, they are the use of one variable as SVM training data, two variables as SVM training data, and three variables as SVM training data. The best result obtained in this research is when the prediction system of THD V using SVM is given train data with one variable that is past THD V variable, which yield MAPE 3,25%. Abstract

Motor induksi tiga fasa tipe rotor sangkar tupai sangat banyak dan lazim digunakan pada dunia industri, teruatama pada industri manufakturing. Walaupun motor induksi tiga fasa mempunyai banyak keuntungan dan kelebihan, terdapat beberapa sisi negatif dari penggunaan motor induksi jenis ini, yaitu timbulnya harmonisa yang dapat mengurangi kualitas daya listrik. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi besarnya harmonisa yang dihasilkan oleh motor induksi tiga fasa, dapat dilakukan dengan pengujian tanpa beban, dengan alat ukur Power Quality Analyzer A3Q. Pengujian kualitas daya pada  motor induksi ini, dilakukan terhadap beberapa variabel, antara lain variabel tegangan, variabel kapasitas daya, dan variabel kecepatan motor induksi tersebut. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Total Harmonics Distortion dari motor induksi tiga fasa tipe rotor sangkar tupai dipengaruhi oleh perubahan tegangan kerja, kapasitas daya dan kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa tersebut. Selain itu, harmonisa urutan yang doniman muncul adalah harmonisa urutan ke tiga.

Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang merupakan kampus yang menggunakan energi listrik cukup besar, memilikibeberapa transformator distribusi salah satunya transformator distribusi yang terletak di gedung Fakultas Kedokterandengan daya 865 kVA. Trafo tersebut menyuplai beberapa gedung yang ada di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang,antara lain yaitu gedung FK dan GKB, gedung GSG, Masjid At-Taqwa, serta Unimus Mart. Dengan pembagian bebanyang cukup banyak dibeberapa gedung tentunya ketidakseimbangan beban pada trafo dan kualitas daya listrik padasistem perlu dilakukan pengukuran dan analisis. Pengukuran ketidakseimbangan beban dan kualitas daya listrik inimenggunakan alat PQ3100 Analyzer, dimana dengan alat tersebut dapat diketahui dan dianalisa tentang besaran listrik,tegangan dan arus listrik, harmonisa, faktor daya, dan ketidakseimbangan beban. Pengamatan dan pengukurandilakukan pada Transformator 865 kVA di Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang. Data yang diperoleh kemudiandibandingkan dengan standar yang berlaku dan sesuai dengan nilai yang diijinkan. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwasecara umum ketidakseimbangan beban serta kualitas daya listrik pada Transformator 865 kVA di UniversitasMuhammadiyah Semarang dalam keadaan baik, karena memenuhi standar yang diijinkan.
