Abstract

Due to an abrupt outbreak of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the educational paradigm has to be shifted to a new era of online education at all levels while maintaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study aims to analyze the implementation of online education focusing on (1) institutional preparedness of digital infrastructure and (2) students' learning activities during the pandemic. An online survey (Google Survey) was conducted to collect the data, which were then qualitatively analyzed supported by data quantification in percentage. The findings indicate that the target schools managed to carry out online education in response to the government's social restriction. Online education has been implemented in three different contexts, depending on the types and strata of schools-fully, partially, and none of the two. This has opened up prospects and challenges to create different standpoints. The students learn through a variety of virtual learning activities, such as watching videos (YouTube or Teacher's presentation), completing quizzes, doing assignments, discussion via Google Meet, and the like depending on the class design.

Abstract

This study aims to generate a product of research-based learning model design at Universitas Tidar. The 21st century era, the learning process should be able to develop all the skills needed by students to be able to live in the 21st century. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a learning model design that is in accordance with the 21st century development, one of which is the research-based learning model. This study applied Research and Development (R&D) method, but limited to the expert validation stage. Instruments of test used were questionnaires to determine the feasibility and expert judgments related to the product being developed. The result indicates that valid and feasible stages of research-based learning activities have been composed to be implemented at Universitas Tidar based on the results of the expert judgments. The stages of learning activities include identifying the problem, framing the question, proposing hypothesis, investigating, analyzing the data, evaluating hypothesis, and communicating the result.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluasi program kegiatan. Program kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu berupa workshop penyusunan dan pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas, serta pembuatan artikel penelitian hasil penelitian tindakan kelas dan cara publikasinya kepada guru SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan evaluasi ketercapaian program yang dilakukan. Program yang dilakukan menggunakan skema workshop, dimana tim memberikan pemaparan materi yang sangat aplikatif kepada peserta untuk membekali pengetahuan (knowing), kemudian meminta peserta untuk langsung mempraktikan (doing), dan selanjutnya pada tahap akhir peserta melakukan diseminasi dalam bentuk seminar hasil (presenting). Partisipan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan penelitian evaluasi ini terdiri dari 35 guru SD di Kota Magelang. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan melihat efektifitas kegiatan yang dilakukan selama partisipan mengikuti tahapan knowing, doing, dan presenting. Selain itu juga digunakan kuesionair untuk mendapatkan data terkait respon peserta terhadap program yang dilakukan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan workshop yang dilakukan berjalan lancar, efektif, dan efisien. Seluruh peserta memiliki antusias yang tinggi, sehingga produk berupa PTK, artikel ilmiah, dan publikasi artikel ilmiah dapat dibuat oleh peserta, dengan jumlah di atas 85%.AbstractThis research is an evaluation research for evaluating program. The program of activities carried out is in the form of workshops on the preparation and implementation of classroom action research, as well as making research articles on the results of classroom action research and how to publish them to elementary school teachers. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the achievement of the program carried out. The program is carried out using a workshop scheme, where the team provides very applicable material presentations to participants to provide knowledge (knowing), then asks participants to directly practice (doing), and then in the final stage participants disseminate in the form of seminar results (presenting). Participants involved in this evaluation research activity consisted of 35 elementary school teachers in Magelang City. Evaluation is done by looking at the effectiveness of the activities carried out as long as the participants follow the stages of knowing, doing, and presenting. In addition, questionnaires were also used to obtain data related to participants' responses to the program carried out. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the evaluation showed that the workshop activities were running smoothly, effectively, and efficiently. All participants have high enthusiasm, so that products in the form of CAR, scientific articles, and publications of scientific articles can be made by participants, with a total of more than 85%.

Abstract

Di era sekarang, anak usia dini merupakan generasi alfa yang sangat dekat dengan teknologi. Hal ini menjadi tantangan bagi guru anak usia dini untuk dapat membimbing anak menggunakan teknologi ke arah positif. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan mengenai Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) berbasis multimedia interaktif berupa LCD writing tablet bagi guru di TK Akhsanuttaqwim. Pengabdian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu sosialisasi, pelaksanaan—yang terdiri atas pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan akan literasi digital dan variasi media guru terkait penggunaan teknologi sebagai media. Selain itu, guru juga mampu menerapkan media yang diberikan pada kelas yang diampu. Harapan dari guru selanjutnya adalah agar kegiatan ini dapat berkelanjutan karena guru merasa pelatihan terkait penerapan teknologi sangat dibutuhkan.

Abstract

Persyaratan menjadi calon kepala sekolah adalah memiliki pangkat penata dengan golongan IIIc. Akan tetapi guru SDN di Kota Magelang 159 guru masih mempunyai golongan IIIa dan 73 masih golongan IIIb. Akibatnya ada enam satuan pendidikan di Kota Magelang yang kosong kepala sekolahnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di lapangan maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa kegiatan pendampingan penyusunan penelitian Tindakan kelas dan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode partisipasi dan diskusi, serta praktek penyusunan penelitian Tindakan kelas. Pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini mencakup beberapa tahap kegiatan yakni tahap persiapan materi, tahap pelaksanaan program dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 30 peserta yang terdiri dari guru yang berada di bawah naungan dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan kota Magelang. Pada kegiatan ini, 67% guru berhasil membuat karya penelitian tindakan kelas.
