Abstract

COVID-19 pandemic impacts on vocational education. Lectures that were originally conducted face-to-face learning are diverted to online learning to avoid the spread of the pandemic. Online learning is very difficult to apply for courses conducted in the laboratory. This study discusses vocational students’ responses to the practice of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data were collected through a questionnaire created on Google form consisting of 20 questions. The questionnaire used a Likert scale to find out the attitudes and students’ perceptions of the implementation of online learning. The number of research respondents was 107 people consisting of 45 respondents from the West Aceh State Community Academy and 62 respondents from Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic, Aceh, Indonesia. The results of this study found that 59.81% of students disagree with online learning. The results also showed a score of 76.95% of the students agree that internet access is the main obstacle in online learning. However, students’ satisfaction with the current online learning system for students shows a score of 67.50%. Opinions related to online learning from 107 respondents showed that 45.42% of them less agree if online learning is still applied when the COVID-19 pandemic ends.

Abstract

This study examines the style of repetition in Ustaz Adi Hidayat's preach (UAH) related to the socialization of the fatwa of the Indonesian Council of Religious Scholars (MUI) about performing worship during the COVID-19 outbreak. Data of this study were taken from the UAH's lecture which aired via Official Adi Hidayat Youtube account. Data analysis was carried out by transcribing the sermon, marking the information containing repetition and making analyzes. The results of this study conclude that not all forms of repetition styles are presented in UAH's preach, such as epistrophe.  The styles of repetition contained in his preach consist of (1) epizeuxis, (2) tautotes, (3) anaphora, (4) symploce, (5) mesodiplosis, (6) epanalepsis, (7) anadiplosis. Besides, the finding also reveals the existence of two repetition styles in one data, namely (1) anaphora and tautotes, (2) epizeuxis and tautotes, and (3) anaphora and mesodiplosis. The styles of repetition used by UAH aim to emphasize the key points of the MUI fatwa so that it can be easily understood by audiences. It is proven by the dominance of the epizeuxis and tautotes style found in this study. The findings of repetition style in spoken discourse will be different from that of written discourse. The repetition style in spoken is spontaneous. Preachers generally develop their style until repetition becomes their characteristic.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas mengenai nilai sufistik yang terdapat dalam Lantunan Doa karya Ricky Syahrani. Penulisan artikel ini didasari atas kurangnya bahan bacaan bagi anak pasca pesatnya kemajuan teknologi. Bahan bacaan yang tersedia umumnya tidak mencerminkan budaya dan kearifan masyarakat setempat. Untuk itu, artikel ini mencoba membahas mengenai nilai sufistik yang dianggap dekat dengan budaya masyarakat Aceh, khususnya. Hasil pengulasan pada Lantunan Doa  menemukan bahwa terdapat dua nilai yaitu, nilai-nilai tasawuf falsafi (1) fana dan baka, (2) hulul (3) wahdatul wujud, dan (4) al-isyraqiyah; dan nilai-nilai  tasawuf amali (1) tobat, (2) wara’, (3) zuhud, (4) sabar, (5) shiddiq (jujur) (6) takwa, (7) ridha, (8) tawakkal dan (9) mahabbah. Berdasarkan analisis nilai-nilai sufistik tersebut disimpulkan bahwa karya sastra yang memuat nilai sufistik ataupun tasawuf layak dijadikan alternatif bahan bacaan anak.

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi di bidang konstruksi yang semakin maju tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pengelasan karena mempunyai peranan penting dalam rekayasa dan reparasi logam. Pengelasan merupakan proses penyambungan dua buah logam khususnya baja untuk menghasilkan sebuah kontruksi mesin dilaksanakan dalam keadaan lumer atau cair. Kampus Akademi Komunitas Negeri Aceh Barat adalah satu-satunya perguruan Tinggi Negeri Vokasi dikawasan pantai barat Aceh yang memiliki Program Studi Teknologi Pengelasan Logam. Pembangunan konstruksi dengan logam pada masa sekarang ini banyak melibatkan unsur pengelasan khususnya dibidang pertambangan, perkebunan dan kemaritiman maka dengan itu kemajuan dan kesiapan SDM maupun SDA harus seiring dapat mengikuti kemajuan teknologi pada era industry 4.0 saat ini. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kekuatan tarik suatu material yang dilakukan pengelasan dengan 3 jenis elektroda yang berbeda dan kemuduan hasilnya dibandingkan dengan hasil simulasi dengan metode elemn hingga. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tahapan yang pertama melakukan uji komposisi kimia material yang akan digunakan, kemudian dilakukan pengelasan SMAW dengan ketiga jenis elektrode terebut. Setelah selesai pengelasan maka dilakukan pemodelan geometri dan spesimen yang mengacu pada standar E-8M (subsize). Hasil uji Tarik secara eksperimen pada jenis elektroda E 6013 sebesar 376,6408 MPa, E 7016 sebesar 464,5183 MPa dan E 7018 sebesar 412,963 MPa. Hasil ini sangat mendekati dengan hasil simulasi analisis distribusi tegangan yaitu sebesar 402,2211 MPa daerah distribusi tegangan juga hampir mirip yaitu berada diluar daerah lasan dimana daerah lasan kekuatan tariknya lebih tinggi

Abstract

The Mendeley application makes it very easy for authors to cite reference sources and write a bibliography accurately and quickly according to the specified bibliography style. This service activity trains students to use the Mendeley application for scientific paper writing. This service was conducted at Medical College of Health (STIKES) West Seramoe. The target group of this service are students. The selection of this service point was based on the results of interviews with students from STIKES Medika West Seramoe, most of whom compiled a bibliography manually. The method of conducting community service is carried out in the phases of (1) preparing for community service activities and (2) conducting community service activities. Learning and practicing this service involves the following steps: (1) Installing the Mendeley application; (2) operate Mendeley; (3) add references; (4) Add reference files automatically; (5) perform citations; and (6) compiling a bibliography. The results of conducting for this service allow the conclusion that students can operate the Mendeley application well. Mendeley operations helps students with citation/quotes by using Mendeley correctly in scientific reports.

Abstract

AbstractThe Religious Education course makes video projects an alternative assignment. This video project aims to hone students' abilities to translate the thoughts and theories they have learned into video form. The aim of the study was to find out the perceptions of vocational students towards making video assignments in the Religious Education course at AKN Aceh Barat. Quantitative descriptive research method using survey methods. The subjects of this study were first semester students of Metal Welding Technology Study Program, Electrical Network Installation and Maintenance Study Program, and Concrete Foundation Construction and Road Paving Study Program who took the Religious Education course. The research sample used a purposive sampling technique of 15 students from three study programs. The research data source uses a questionnaire in Google Form format. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the perception of vocational students towards making video assignments in the Religious Education Course at AKN Aceh Barat is very good. Video assignments provide new experiences, make students creative in digital da'wah, and God willing, they will become charity. AbstrakMata kuliah Pendidikan Agama menjadikan proyek video sebagai alternatif tugas. Proyek video ini bertujuan mengasah kemampuan mahasiswa menuangkan pemikiran dan teori yang telah dipelajari ke dalam bentuk video. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa vokasi terhadap pembuatan tugas video pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama di AKN Aceh Barat. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei. Subjek penelitian ini mahasiswa semester satu Prodi Teknologi Pengelasan Logam, Prodi Instalasi dan Pemeliharaan Jaringan Listrik, dan Prodi Konstruksi Pondasi Beton dan Pengaspalan Jalan yang mengikuti mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama. Sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purpose sampling sebanyak 15 mahasiswa dari tiga prodi. Sumber data penelitian menggunakan angket dalam format google form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa vokasi setuju pembuatan tugas video pada mata kuliah Pendidikan Agama di AKN Aceh Barat sangat baik dan perlu dilanjutkan. Tugas video memberikan pengalaman baru, membuat mahasiswa kreatif dalam dakwah digital, dan insya Allah menjadi amal jariyah.
