Abstract

Undergravel airlift pump is a simple filter system that uses air. The purpose of this study was to analyze the efficiency of using Undergravel Airlift Pump in Aquaculture Oreochromis sp. The approach used is an experimental approach with 2 treatments and 1 control. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed that the application of undergravel airlift pump had an impact on water quality. The treatment of middle airlift  position is more effective compared to the bottom airlift  and control. The temperature and pH parameters were not significantly different; dissolved oxygen and total dissolved solid were significantly different.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of input factors on the grade point average (GPA). The approach used is quantitative approach with explanatory research method. The population is Poliwangi Students class of 2016 and 2017 who enter through the PMDK. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling by determining the number of samples using the Slovin equation. Data analysis used is multiple linear regressions. The results showed that the national exams and School Examinations had a significant effect on the grade point average (GPA) for students State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi class of 2016 and 2017. Department and previous Schools had no significant effect on the grade point average (GPA) students State Polytechnic of Banyuwangi class of 2016 and 2017. Abstract

Jamur tiram putih merupakan salah satu jenis jamur tiram yang sering dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat. Terdapat berbagai manfaat dari jamur tiram antara lain : mengandung vitamin C, sumber protein nabati yang rendah kolesterol sehingga dapat mencegah penyakit hipertensi dan serangan jantung (Sunandar, et al., 2012). Salah satu daerah yang melakukan kegiatan budidaya jamur tiram adalah Desa Kebaman Kecamatan Srono, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ussunah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang juga melakukan kegiatan budidaya jamur tiram putih. Terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha di Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ussunah antara lain rumah jamur tiram yang didirikan masih sangat sederhana, ruangan tempat budidaya sudah mengalami beberapa kerusakan, peralatan budidaya jamur tiram yang sangat minim, manajemen keuangan untuk pelaporan keuangan budidaya yang belum dilakukan, dan sistem pemasaran jamur tiram putih yang masih sangat sederhana. Solusi yang dapat ditawarkan kepada kelompok mitra, dalam hal ini Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ussunah di Desa Kebaman Kecamatan Srono, Kabupaten Banyuwangi adalah dengan melakukan pengembangan Rumah Jamur Tiram Putih, memperbaiki ruangan tempat budidaya jamur tiram, memberikan peralatan dan bahan-bahan yang diperlukan untuk kegiatan budidaya jamur tiram, penerapan manajemen keuangan, dan peningkatan pemasaran jamur tiram putih. Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah : 1) Meningkatnya kemampuan, keterampilan, dan keberhasilan masyarakat dalam menerapkan sistem budidaya jamur tiram putih; 2) Memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana (ruangan tempat budidaya jamur tiram putih) yang masih sederhana dan tidak steril, sehingga kualitas dan kuantitas jamur tiram putih yang dihasilkan dapat meningkat; 3) Meningkatnya keterampilan masyarakat untuk berwirausaha dan mengolah produk hasil pertanian, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan melalui pengembangan “Rumah Jamur Tiram Putih”.4) Menjadikan desa Kebaman kecamatan Srono Kabupaten Banyuwangi sebagai salah satu sentra penghasil jamur tiram putih.  Kata kunci : jamur tiram putih, Pondok Pesantren Mamba’ussunah,  rumah jamur.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Telemung merupakan salah satu sentra penghasil kopi di Kabupaten Banyuwangi, dengan sebagian besar penduduknya memiliki lahan perkebunan kopi. Biji kopi segar di desa Telemung memiliki kualitas yang bagus, akan tetapi pengolahan yang masih sederhana menyebabkan harga jual biji kopi di daerah Telemung memiliki harga yang relatif rendah. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini ialah untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pelatihan mengenai metode pengeringan biji kopi dengan metode honey process kepada petani kopi di Desa Telemung. Biji kopi hasil metode ini akan meningkatkan harga jual sebesar dua kali lipat. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode berpa workshop dengan melibatkan 15 orang petani kopi tradisional di Desa Telemung, Banyuwangi. Evaluasi program dilakukan dengan melakukan perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test sebelum dan setelah pelatihan. Workshop dilakukan secara intensif dalam dua hari, yang berfokus pada penerapan prinsip pasca panen yang biak dan penggunaan alat produksi utama dengan teknologi terbaru (pulper double layer), tahapan-tahapan pengolahan honey process, dan evaluasi rasa biji kopi (cupping) yang dihasilkan. Hasil pre dan post-test menunjukkan bahwa petani sudah mengetahui metode honey process secara umum, ditunjukkan dengan skor rata-rata mencapai 75 poin. Sedangkan penggunaan alat pulper teknologi baru terbukti meningkatkan kapasitas produksi (109%). Antusias petani tinggi terhadap metode honey process, terbukti dari intensitas diskusi yang terjadi. Hal ini menunjukkan peluang adopsi teknologi yang tinggi terhadap metode ini. Kata kunci: honey process; kopi; desa telemung; pulper kopi; banyuwangi. ABSTRACTTelemung Village is one of the coffee-producing centers in Banyuwangi Regency, with the majority of its farmers owning coffee plantations. Fresh coffee beans in Telemung village are of good quality, however simple processing causes the selling price of coffee beans in the Telemung area to be relatively low. The purpose of this community development is to introduce and provide training on the honey drying method for coffee farmers in Telemung Village. The coffee beans produced by this method will double the selling price. This community development program uses a workshop method involved 15 traditional coffee farmers from Telemung vilage, Banyuwangi. For evalution purpose, before and after the training, farmers' understanding of the honey process method was tested using a pre-test and post-test. The workshop was conducted intensively in two days, which focused on post harvest handling and the use of the main production equipment with the latest technology (pulper double layer), the stages of processing the honey process, and evaluating the taste of the coffee beans (cupping) produced. The pre and post-test results show that farmers already know the honey process method in general, indicated by an average score of 75 points. Training has been shown to increase farmers' understanding by increasing by 11.5 points, while the use of new pulper technology has been shown to increase production capacity (109%). Farmers' high enthusiasm for the honey process method was evident from the intensity of the discussions that took place. This shows a high chance of technology adoption of this method. Keywords: honey proces; coffee; telemung village; coffee pulper; banyuwangi.

Abstract

Banyuwangi district has a high productivity of dragon fruit and is a superior horticultural agricultural commodity. One of the areas in Banyuwangi district that has great potential in cultivating dragon fruit is Jambewangi Village. A rich harvest will cause a surplus of dragon fruit on the market, lowering the sale price. During this time, the dragon fruit was eaten, and only the meat was processed, while the fruit's skin was not optimally utilized. The researchers wanted to create an innovation such as a product of herbal tea leather fruit. The research aimed to know and analyze consumers' preferences for the new product of Jambewangi village. This research was conducted from June until September 2023. The variables used in this study are price and taste. The research uses a quantitative approach by using a 1-5 Likert scale questionnaire in the tourist and culinary areas of Banyuwangi District. The sampling approach used is simple random sampling. The data is 32 culinary tourists. The data obtained will be analyzed through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and linear regression tests. The results of this study showed that there is a significant influence between price and taste on consumer preferences, with the F value counting of 16,784 > F table 3.30, so it is understood that when price variables and taste increase together, then the variable of consumers preference also increases, on the contrary, when the price variable and taste decreases. Consumers' preference variables also experience a decrease.
