<![CDATA[Abstract: Correlation between constructivism approach and elementary students social science learning achievement. The purpose of this research is to get the information about correlation between constructivism approach and elementary students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan social science learning achievement. This research uses a descriptive method. The population of this research are the whole 72 students of IV grade Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan.The result of this research shows that there is a significance correlation between constructivism approach and elementary studentsof Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan grade IV social science learning achievement. It can be seen from the result of rxy>rtabel (0,47>0,235). Therefore the Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Key Word: constructivism approach, learning achievement, social science learning Abstrak: Korelasi antara pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS SD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang hubungan antara penerapan pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan yang berjumlah 72 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang siginifikan antara penerapan pendekatan konstruktivisme dengan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan.
