Abstract

The SIR model is one of the epidemic models to describe the spread of infectious diseases with healing and without immunity to these infections. Environmental changes can affect changes in disease patterns that can cause endemic. One of the diseases that cause endemic is Measles (Measles). Therefore, it is necessary to take preventive measures to reduce the rate of spread of the disease, the most effective measure to prevent the spread of the disease is vaccination. Measles transmission prevention events that occur in a population can be modeled in a mathematical form, one of which is the SIR model. The SIR model is divided into four subpopulations, namely the susceptible population or a subpopulation of susceptible individuals to the disease, the infected subpopulation or a subpopulation of infected individuals and can transmit the disease and the recovary subpopulation or individual subpopulation recovering from the disease. Vaccination in this case is the addition of controls to the SIR model, where before being controlled, Measles was only treated normally without vaccines, so that the disease is still common in the community. Giving the right vaccine will reduce the number of infected subpopulations, so that the recovery subpopulation will increase. In this study, the SIR model was developed with the addition of controls. The control in this model is a vaccination given to infected subpopulations, so that the recovery subpopulation has increased, because the number of infected subpopulations has decreased. Abstrak Model SIR merupakan salah satu model epidemik untuk menggambarkan penyebaran penyakit infeksi dengan adanya penyembuhan dan tanpa adanya kekebalan terhadap infeksi tersebut. Perubahan lingkungan hidup dapat mempengaruhi perubahan pola penyakit yang dapat menimbulkan endemik. Salah satu penyakit yang menyebabkan endemi yaitu penyakit Campak (Measles). Oleh karena itu perlu adanya tindakan pencegahan untuk mengurangi laju penyebaran penyakit tersebut, tindakan yang dinilai paling efektif untuk mencegah penyebaran penyakit adalah dengan cara vaksinasi. Kejadian pencegahan penularan penyakit Campak yang terjadi pada suatu populasi dapat dimodelkan ke dalam bentuk matematis, salah satunya adalah model SIR. Model SIR dibagi menjadi empat subpopulasi yaitu populasi susceptible atau subpopulasi individu rentan terhadap penyakit, subpopulasi infected atau subpopulasi individu terinfeksi serta dapat menularkan penyakit dan subpopulasi recovary atau subpopulasi individu sembuh dari penyakit. Vaksinasi dalam hal ini adalah penambahan kontrol pada model SIR, dimana sebelum dikontrol, penyakit Campak hanya diobati biasa tanpa pemberian vaksin, sehingga penyakit tersebut masih banyak dijumpai di masyarakat. Pemberian vaksin yang tepat, akan menurunkan jumlah subpopulasi terinfeksi, sehingga subpopulasi recovery akan mengalami kenaikan. Pada penelitian ini mengembangkan model SIR dengan penambahan kontrol. Kontrol pada model tersebut merupakan vaksinasi yang diberikan kepada subpopulasi infected, sehingga subpopulasi recovery mengalami kenaikan, kerena jumlah subpopulasi infected menurun.

Abstract

The increasingly high spread of Covid-19 pandemic cases has an impact on the field of education, especially new student admissions. In accordance with government policy, activities related to education were changed to online, so that the mathematics study program held promotional activities through online. This activity is focused on accepting new students online during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods for implementing the activities include making materials for introducing mathematics courses through websites and social media, making flyers and banners, making profile videos, and conducting webinars. The results of the introduction of the mathematics study program in the context of socializing online new student admissions during the pandemic were very good, where more than 60% of the participants stated that the activities were very interesting and satisfying.

Abstract

Keting village, Kedalon hamlet is a village that still has a lot of rice fields and livestock. However, many people are still not using animal manure (livestock) to be used as fertilizer in the rice fields. In this case, the community still uses chemical fertilizers and allows the manure from the farm to be wasted for nothing. The purpose of this community service is to manage goat manure into solid organic fertilizer or manure to replace chemical fertilizers in Kedalon Hamlet. The method used in this activity is socialization and the practice of making fertilizer. The results of the service are products in the form of solid organic fertilizers derived from goat manure, so that comunity can use these fertilizers to replace chemical fertilizers.

Abstract

Kesehatan lingkungan menurut WHO (World Health Organization) adalah suatu keseimbangan ekologi yang harus ada antara manusia dan lingkungan agar dapat menjamin keadaan sehat dari manusia. Dengan demikian, lingkungan yang bersih sangat berpengaruh pada kesehatan masyarakat baik jasmani maupun rohani. Indikator lingkungan bersih dapat dilihat dari persentase keluarga yang mempunyai akses air bersih baik dari PDAM (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum), sumur atau dari sumber lainnya. Desa Keting merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sekaran Kabupaten Lamongan. Desa Keting terdiri dari dua dusun, yaitu Dusun Keting dan Dusun Kedalon yang keduanya dilaui oleh sungai yang cukup besar yaitu bengawan solo. Berdasarkan indikator lingkungan bersih diatas, Desa keting memenuhi beberapa poin diantaranya sumber air bersih yang memadai ditandai dengan banyak masyarakat yang mempunyai sumur pribadi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terfokus pada aksi bersih lingkungan masyarakat Desa Keting yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan Desa Keting yang bersih dan sehat. Kegiatan diawali dengan sosialisasi pengenai bahaya buang sampah dan limbah di sungai, aksi bersih sungai, aksi bersih jalan desa, aksi bersih masjid, aksi bersih makam, dan pengadaan tong sampah di pinggir jalan serta tempat umum.

Abstract

Risiko kematian sangat berpengaruh dalam menentukan harga premi asuransi jiwa. Setiap individu mempunyai tingkat risiko kematian yang berbeda tergantung faktor underwriting. Pada kenyataannya, perusahaan asuransi menawarkan harga premi yang sama untuk individu dengan usia dan jenis kelamin yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan mortalita dalam risiko kematian berdasarkan faktor underwriting menggunakan Generalized Linear Models (GLM), kemudian mengembangkan metode untuk menentukan harga premi model dua tahunan. Penelitian dimulai dengan mengkaji teori yang berkaitan dengan faktor underwriting, GLM, dan mencari estimasi parameter dalam GLM yang selanjutnya digunakan untuk membentuk model mortalita dengan fungsi logit sebagai link function. Model mortalita yang diperoleh digunakan untuk menghitung harga premi model dua tahunan. Data yang digunakan adalah data longitudinal mengenai faktor-faktor underwriting yang berdistribusi binomial diambil dari Health and retirement study dan diolah menggunakan software R 3.3.2. Hasil penelitian berupa model mortalita dimana setiap individu mempunyai probabilitas kematian atau risiko kematian berbeda tergantung faktor underwriting yang diderita. Faktor underwriting yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap probabilitas kematian adalah usia, status peminum alkohol, penyakit jantung, dan diabetes. Model mortalita tersebut digunakan untuk menghitung premi model dua tahunan. Semakin besar risiko kematian seseorang, semakin besar pula harga premi yang ditawarkan.

Abstract

The rate of inflation that goes up and down can lead to economic instability. To overcome this, it is necessary to forecast the value of inflation in the coming year, so that the government can make decisions in regulating economic policy. The data used in this research is the inflation data for the city of Purwokerto for 6 years. Based on the data plot, it can be seen that the data can be predicted using the Moving Average and Single Exponential Smoothing methods. The purpose of this study is to compare the two forecasting methods and determine the best method based on the error size value. From the analysis, it is found that the Single Exponential Smoothing method is better used in forecasting than the Moving Average method, because the MAPE, MSD and MAD values ??are smaller. The results of inflation forecasting for the city of Purwokerto in 2018 rose by 0.44 percent.

Abstract

Kernel adjusted density estimation is a modification of the regular kernel density estimation. The modification is applied to a kernel function. This kernel function is derived from the location-scale transformation. Simulation study shows that this estimation have better results than the regular estimation because it has smaller MSE value. In addition, if normal kernel is used as a kernel function then the curve estimation will be smoother than other kernel function such as uniform kernel and Epachenikov kernel.
