Abstract

The aim of this paper is to determine a new location of junior high school at Klungkung, using Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering Algorithm. The new location of the junior high school is depending on the graduate number of elementary school, the distance between location of candidates, and distance between the candidates’ location and existing junior high school. To measure the distance, it is used an Euclidean distance. At the beginning of calculation, the locations of elementary schools are used as the location candidates. Then, the density value of each location candidates is calculated using Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering Algorithm. The location candidate which has the highest density will be chosen to become a starting location. The results of calculation show that the location candidate at 8°32'5.70"S, 115°24'20.64"E has the highest density value, it is at SD Negeri 1 Semarapura Kangin. So the location for the new junior high school is at around SD Negeri 1 Semarapura Kangin.

Abstract

Rabies is a fatal infectious virus that can attack all mammals especially dogs. Infection happens when there is  interaction between healthy dogs and rabies-infected dogs. In Bali, rabies was first found in late 2008. One of the solutions done by government to the problem is by giving vaccine to healtly dogs, so that they are not easily infected by the virus. Thus, a mathematical model is needed to analyze the development of dogs population in Bali. By using analysis of fixed point and stability on the model, the population of rabies-infected dog was affected by not only the percentage of vaccination but also the number of healthy dogs birth. Lastly, a numeric simulation by using Taylor’s seriesorder was conducted to illustrate and to strengthen the result of the analysis.

Abstract

Abstract

Thus, a mathematical model is needed to analyze the development of dog population in Bali and to determine the limination of dogs birth population and the percentage limination of vaccination that can be possibly done so that the population of dogs infected by rabies becomes extinct. By using analysis of fixed point and stability on the model, the limination of dogs birth population and the percentage limitation of the vaccination was obtained. Lastly, a numeric simulation by using Taylor’s series order was conducted to illustrate and to strengthen the result of the analysis.

Abstract

This work is directed to forecast the number of foreign visitors come to tourist’s destinations at Badung regency, Province of Bali. Using visit historical data for period January 2000 to February 2015, Markov Transition Matrix and Fuzzy Triangular Number are applied to represent fuzzy logical relationship group and member function in fuzzy model, respectively.  The results showed the in-sample forecasting accuracy for our fuzzy model as much as 2,48 percent. To validate the model, we found the average forecasting error rate for five consecutive months (March – July 2015) as much as 2,70 percent.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu yang keberadaanya disusun dari suatu sistem yang penuh dengan perjanjian dan terbangun atas logika dari sekelompok unsur, relasi, dan operasi yang diramu secara aksiomatik serta kebenarannya harus terjamin. Dengan demikian maka pembuktian dalam matematika menjadi salah satu modal terpenting dalam pengembangan matematika. Beberapa orang menganggap pembuktian dalam matematika merupakan suatu keindahan tersendiri walaupun seringkali dalam merangkai fakta-fakta kebenaran melalui penalaran yang logis tidaklah mudah. Diperlukan banyak latihan dan pembelajaran untuk menguasai keterampilan ini. Berlatih memahami bukti adalah salah satu cara termudah dalam memulai memahami konsep matematika yang lebih abstrak.  Akan tetapi pada kenyataannya memahami bukti  yang sudah ada saja bukan merupakan hal yang mudah, apalagi jika diminta untuk membuktikan. Oleh karena itu dalam tulisan ini akan diulas salah satu alternatif penggunaan mind map dalam membantu memperkenalkan konsep terkait pembuktian dan membiasakan diri menggunakan metode-metode pembuktian yang sudah ada.

Abstract

Fuzzy logic is a way to map an input space into an output space. The basic of fuzzy logic is fuzzy set theory. In the fuzzy set theory, the role of membership degree is important to determine the presence of elements in a set. Membership degree is the fundamental feature of reasoning in fuzzy logic. There are several methods that are often used in solving fuzzy inference system, one of them is fuzzy Sugeno method. The aim of this research is applications of fuzzy methods is to forecast to determine the selling price of used motorcycles. In determining the selling price of used motorcycles, there are several things that need to be considered, namely : the production year of the motorcycles, the physical condition of the motorcycles, the origin of the license plates, and the purchase price of the motorcycles. The calculation can be done by using Matlab program. The result obtained were then tested using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) by calculating difference between the selling price of dealer minus the selling price of fuzzy Sugeno then divided by the selling price of dealer. From the test result, MAPE value obtained was 5,64% . This indicates that error rate below 10%, so we can say the result of these calculation is considerably accurate.

Abstract

In school development problem, determining location is one of important things to consider. In this research, the purpose is to determine the location of SMAN 9 Denpasar if it will be built. One of algorithms in computational geometry that can be used to find solution of facility location problem is multiplicatively weighted Voronoi diagram in two dimensions. The result of weighted Voronoi diagram shows the influence of each site to the surrounding area. Then, the location of SMAN 9 Denpasar is obtained by determining the center of the largest empty circle of the weighted Voronoi diagram.

Abstract

According to Bureau of Statistic, village can be classified into urban and rural village. This classification is useful for planning development, such as security, health, and agriculture plans which have the roles of rural urban linkages. This classification also useful for divide a village into villages. In this research the villages in Klungkung Regency will be classified into urban and rural villages using Mamdani method. The result of classification using Mamdani method is 52 villages classified into urban village and seven villages classified into rural village which has an accuracy of 93% between the Mamdani method output with the original data in 59 villages in Klungkung Regency.

Abstract

Binomial tree is a method that can be used to determine price option contracts. In this method, the stock price movement is presented in the form of a  tree with each branch representing the probability of the stock price to move up or move down. The purpose of this paper was to determine the price of the options contracts with the American type on Binomial Tree method and compare the three methods that is variance matching, proportional , and risk neutral of determining the value of price option contracts used in Binomial Tree method with Black-Schole method. The result of this research was the value of the options contract using the variance matching more similar with the value of the Black-Scholes contract.
