This study discusses the Analysis Pabratan Structure, Function and Meaning. The aim to describe the structure, function, and meaning contained in said pabratan. The theory used in this research is the structural theory, the theory of functions according to Luxemburg, and the theory of semiotics according to pierce. The methods used can be divided into three stages, the first stage of the provision of data, in this first stage used methods refer assisted with recording techniques and translation techniques. Second, the data processing stage, in this stage is used descriptive analytic method assisted with recording techniques, and the third is a stage presentation of the results of data analysis at this stage is used informal methods. The results obtained in this study is a structure consisting of a formal structure and content structure. Structure forma covers include: language diversity includes; Kawi Bali and the Balinese language and style guides include; includes language style; style assertion language, and comparison. Structure of the contents of the first part; begins with a prayer and the initial explanation of the content of speech; part of an early transition to the contents; an early introduction to the content, content; contains teachings eyelash control (mind), the final part; is the final part, which ended with teak kuni said. In addition there are functions include: didactic (educational) and religious functions, while their meanings include: religion (religious).

This study examines the legend of Yeh Abang and Pura Nampusela. The purpose of this research is to be able to describe the structure, function, and value in the Legend Yeh Abang and Pura Nampusela so it can be used as a guide to the behavior of people, especially people of Bali. Grounding theory used in this research is the structural theory, function, and value. Used structural theory based on the theory of Teeuw, Sukada, and Nurgiyantoro. For the analysis of the functions and values ??guided by the theory of functions and value delivered by Teeuw, Ratna, and Yudibrata. The method used in procuring data that observation and interview methods are supported with recording techniques as well as recording. In the data processing method used is descriptive-analytic and presentation of data analysis using informal methods. The results obtained in this study is a narrative structure that consists of: incidents, plot, character and characterization, setting, theme, and mandate. That the functions contained religious function, social function and the function of education is closely related to the situation of the villagers Padangan. And contains values ??of religious, ethics, magical value, social value and educational value.

Research on dictionary Balinese-Indonesia classiified for terminology arja and gambuh, to have special purpose to know the shape and quantity of terminology in arja and gambuh. It is used linguistic structural theory by Ferdinand de Saussure, lexicology theory, and lexicograpy theory. In act of preparing data, it is used interview and see method, with tap technique. Followed record technique and note technique. In analysis data is used translational method followed by based technique classify determine element with intermediate technique, related equivalent technique make the same related equivalent technique compare the main thing. Apportion method with based technique for element direct with intermediate technique are expansion technique and infix technique. Methode that used in presentation analysis result in formal method and informal with inductive and deductive technique. The result of this research is terminology in form based word consist of based word in one word, two word, three word, four word. From the based word can make new word. Affixs consist of: preffixs {N-}, {p?-}, {m?-}, {p?N-}, {m?-}, suffixs {-an}, konffixs {p?-/-an}, {m?-/-an}, combination affixs, the word that replay consist, and word complex. Terminology in form of phrase is endosentrik phrase just one main word cocnsist of: nominal phrase and verbal phrase. This research collect 436 terminology. Class of words that are found that nominal word class.

This study is entitled “Analisis Ideologi pada Teks Mitos Baris Cina di Desa Adat Renon”. This study aims to describe the structure of the teks mitos Baris Cina in Desa Adat Renon and analyzes the ideological meaning contained in it. The theories used in the study are structural theory and mythology theory. The stage of providing data used the field method, assised with interview technique, recording thecnique, note-taking technique, and idiomatic translation technique. The data are analyzed using qualitative method by descriptive-analytic technique. The data are presented using qualitative method by deductive technique. The structure of the teks mitos Baris Cina in Desa Adat Renon contsists of incidents, plot, character and characterization, setting, theme, and moral value. There is a connotation meaning in the teks mitos Baris Cina which then develops into a myth so that the myth is used as a way of life by the people as an ideology. The meaning of ideology contained in it is the institution’s guard, obligations, and historical relics.

The terminology of Balinese traditional painting in the research of Balinese-Indonesian dictionary aims to find out the form and amount of terminology in Balinese traditional painting. Theory applied are Structural linguistic developed by Ferdinand de Saussure, Lexicology and Lexicography theories. Method of collecting data applied in this research is a structural interview with the tapping technique followed by recording technique and note taking technique. In method of analyzing data, balance method is applied which a part of it is traditional method followed by basic technique, namely: selecting the determining element by subsequent technique, correlating and appealing technique and correlating and appealing main element technique. Method shared is also applied with basic technique, namely: infix technique. Method of presenting analysis data is formal and informal method by following inductive and deductive analysis technique. The result of this research is some terminologies in form of basic word contain of basic word one syllable, basic word two syllables, basic word three syllables and basic word four syllables. Derivative word contains word affixed such as prefixes, infix, suffixes, confix, and clofixes (affix joined), repeated words and compound words. The terms are phrases which are: endocentric with main one phrase consisting of: a noun phrase and numeral phrase. Terminology in form clouse is subordinative clouse. This research collects 373 terminologies.

The title of this paper is “Mythical of Dewi Hariti in Candi Dasa Temple, Bugbug Village, Karangasem; Analyzeof Structure, Function and Meaning”. This paper is using structural theory, function theory and semiotics theory. The aims of this paper is to destribe narrative structure in Dewi Hariti’s mythical in Candi Dasa Temple and analysis the function and the meaning tht contained in Dewi Hariti’s mythical in Candi Dasa Temple. The step of provision the data are using method of interview and method of observation assisted with recording technique and take a note, is making a note for the important things that got from the observation. And then, we analyze the data by quali tative technique. In this stage, is supported by analytis dessritive method at the presentation stage of the data analysis the method is used informal method. Data source is using primary data and secondary data. The narrative structure in Dewi Hariti’s mythical in Candi Dasa Temple, Bugbug Village, Karangasem. There are 7 structure, synopsis, incident, plot, figures, theme, mandate and background. The function contained in Dewi Hariti’s mythical in Candi Dasa Temple are religious meaning and culture meaning.

This research is entitled “Geguritan Ni Sumala: Philological Studies”. Assessment of Geguritan Ni Sumala uses philological theory. This study aims to obtain the text of Geguritan Ni Sumala which approaaches the original. The data supply phase uses the observation method and simak method helped by note taking technique. Next, in data analysis phase using comparative descriptive method, transliteration uses standard transliteration method, following by a comparation of three texts through text criticism, text edition using the legger method, the translation uses combination literal translation and idiomatic translation. In the stage of presenting the result of data analysis using formal and informal method by deductive-inductive tecnique also assisted by exposure, tables, and themes. The text edition is complemented by criticism apparatus which is presented separately and translation is also presented separately with the source text. The result of this study are, from the three of GNS manuscripts that have been compared through text criticism there are some copy/write errors from each text such as substitution, adition, omission, lakuna, interpolation, ditography, transposition, and corrupt. By correcting the copy error presented Geguritan Ni Sumala text which assumed to be correct based on the evidence three of contained manuscripts. Geguritan Ni Sumala uses Balinese Kawi language. Next in text edition for literacy guidelines used are Acri and Griffiths opinions (2014: 371-372) and combined with Damais opinions (1995: 125). aside from that, the spelling used in text edition are spelling guidelines for Balinese script pairs with Latin letters and Balinese letters also guidelines Pasang Aksara Bali. Indonesian translations are also included in the Geguritan Ni Sumala text.

This research on Tutur Angkus Prana is to discuss on structural study and semiotic matters. The aim of this structural analysis is to assess the manuscript structure, and so the semiotic analysis is to analyze signs on Tutur Angkus Prana that contain a specific meaning. The result of this research is the unfolding and explanation on Tutur Angkus Prana that is involved with intrinsic structure on the relevant text, that is usada, mantra, upakara, and language style. The understanding of Bapa and Ibu on Tutur Angkus Prana, karma and reincarnation, and kamoksan (kalepasan) as symbols.

The Balinese written tradition contain of various thing. These indicate how spacious their knowledge to organized their civilization continuity. The facts today, our generations of Balinese written tradition forgotten their perfectly forefather cultural heritage. They were not only leave the lontar script as a civilize forefather stationary also forget their letters use to explicit their thought gradually deserted. The more tragic fact fatally wounded which has no longer time to learn about Balinese culture which has explicit in lontar script on formal education. Beside, lontar script not only collected by formal institutions like Bali Province Government of Cultural, Faculty of Letters Udayana University, etc, but many of these collected personally. In the most serious condition, the personal collectors has not ability to take care the manuscript as far as longer, also they has not ability to confirm how to use the languages and cannot read the Balinese alphabet well. The phenomena above has not enough a good sufficient solution cause the policy in Bali for the perfectly written tradition is not consequence to save these .The Service Program for Society 0f Udayana University is one of a strategic institution to save the original text which is spelled out. Therefore, it’s really needed to give more “energy” to this institution and to those who has really dedicated to save our perfectly forefather cultural heritage from disappears. .

Over the last ten years (2009-2018), the average number of modern Balinese literary books published reached 10.9 titles per year. This data is derived from the number of books nominated for the annual Rancage Literary Award over the last ten years. This research identifies and discusses opportunities and challenges in the development of the publication of modern Balinese literary books nowadays. The research focuses on identifying the supporting factors and challenges of the publication of modern Balinese literary books. Research methods applied in this study were library studies and limited ethnographic research through interviews, especially with stakeholders of modern Balinese literature including writers, readers and book agencies. Data were analyzed by Escarpit’s theory of sociology of literature that proposes the study of literature in the entire environment of literary creation, distribution and consumption. This study concludes that the provincial government of Bali, publishers, literary communities and authors all play an important role in overcoming challenges and taking advantage of opportunities for increasing the publication of modern Balinese literature.
