Abstract

Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui status hematologi kelinci diberi pakan rumput yang disuplementasiMulti Nutrient Block (MNB). Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok, dengan lima kali ulangan.Perlakuan terdiri dari kelinci diberi rumput lapangan sebagai kontrol (R0), ransum kontrol yang disuplementasiMNB 5 g/ekor/h (R1), ransum kontrol yang disuplementasi MNB 10 g/ekor/h (R2), ransum kontrol yang disuplementasiMNB 15 g/ekor/h (R3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan eritrosit, leukosit, hematokrit, glukosadan trigiserida darah kelinci tidak dipengaruhi oleh tingkat suplementasi MNB (P<0,05), namun kandungan haemoglobindarah kelinci semakin meningkat dengan meningkatnya suplementasi MNB (P>0,05). Dapat disimpulkanbahwa suplementasi MNB berpengaruh positif terhadap status haemoglobin darah kelinci. Kata kunci; MNB, status hematologi, Lepus negricollis

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kecernaan nutrien dan pertambahan berat badan babi landrace yang diberi ransum dengan suplementsi multivitamin dan mineral berupa minyak ikan. Babi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 9 ekor babi landarce betina. Penelitian lapangan dilaksanakan di Desa Candikusuma Kecamatan Melaya Kabupaten Jembrana, Bali sedangkan analisis laboratorium dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Nutrisi Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Udayana, berlangsung selama 5 bulan. Rancangan yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 (tiga) perlakuan dan 3(tiga) ulangan, sehingga secara keseluruhan terdapat 9 unit percobaan. Tiap unit percobaan menggunakan satu ekor babi landrace dengan berat badan awal 6,11±1,71. Ketiga perlakuan tersebut adalah : Perlakuan MI0 (ransum tanpa minyak ikan) yang digunakan sebagai kontrol; perlakuan MI1 (ransum dengan 100 ml minyak ikan); dan perlakuan MI2 (ransum dengan 200 ml minyak ikan). Ransum disusun dalam 100 kg, isoprotein dan isikalori berdasarkan rekomendasi NRC (1988). Peubah yang diamati meliputi koefisien cerna (bahan kering, bahan organik, serat kasar, dan protein kasar), dan pertambahan berat badan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi minyak ikan sebagai sumber vitamin dan mineral pada level 100 ml dalam ransum pada babi landrace dapat meningkatkan koefisien cerna bahan kering, bahan organik, dan protein kasar, sedangkan kecernaan serat kasar mengalami penurunan. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pemanfaatan ransum pada babi landrace fase starter dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian suplementasi minyak ikan sebagai sumber vitamin-mineral sebesar 100 ml. DIGESTIBLE COEFFICIENT OF NUTRIENT AND WEIGHT INCREASMENT ON LANDRACE WHICH WAS GIVEN COMMERCIAL FEED WITH MULTIVITAMIN SUPLEMENT AND MINERAL OF FISH OIL ABTRACT A research has been carried out to know nutrient digestion and weight increasment landrace. Nine female landrace pig were used on this research.This research was held in Jembrana Regency, Melaya sundistrict, Candikusuma Village while the laboratory analysis was held in Laboratory of Animal Feed Nutrition, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University. This research took 5 months from preparation until reporting. Completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments in three replicates as totally 9 units research. There were one pigs in each replicates, with weight at 6.11±1.71 kg. The three treatments were: MI0 (without fish oil); MI1 (with 100 ml fish oil); and MI2 (with 200 ml fish oil). Those woofs were arranged at 100 kg with isoprotein and isicalory based on NRC (1998) recommendation. During the research, we watched for digest coefficient of dry mater, organic mater, crude protein, crude fiber and weight incensement. The result of this research showed that fish oil supplementation as a vitamin-mineral source with 100 ml level on feed of landrace could increase coefficient of dry mater digestion, organic mater, and crude protein, except crude fiber. Fish oil on 100 ml level was giving the best result to increase landrace weight on strater.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of growth, carcass production and conversion ransum "cili duck" than bali duck, and to know the effect of commercial ransum and artificial ransum ??with the same nutrient composition of the growth rate, carcass production and conversion ratio "cili duck" age of 1 -9 weeks. The experiment was conducted in the village of Perean Tengah, Tabanan which lasted for 8 weeks. Research using completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and six replications. The three treatments were: "cili duck" with a commercial ransum CP 511 (A), "cili duck" with artificial ransum (B), and (control) bali duck with commercial ransum CP 511 (C). The results showed that the average final weight, weight gain, and carcass weights at treatment C significantly more lower (P <0,05) of treatment A and B. Mean final weight, weight gain, and carcass weights in treatment A was significantly higher (P <0,05) than treatment B. Average consumption ransum treatment C was not significantly different (P> 0,05) lower than treatment B but significantly different (P <0,05) lower than treatment A. The average consumption ransum treatments were not significantly different (P> 0,05) higher than treatment B. Average conversion ratio C treatment were significantly different (P <0,05) higher than that of treatment A and B. Mean treatment A conversion ratio was not significantly different (P> 0,05) lower than treatment B. Based on the research it can be concluded (1). "cili duck" (a hybrid of peking duck x bali duck ) has a level of growth and carcass production better than the bali duck, (2). Maintenance "cili duck" aged 1-9 weeks, rationing commercial CP 511 can generate the growth rate, higher carcass production and efficient use of ransum better than artificial rationing, (3). "cili duck" has a ransum efficiency better than the bali duck.
