Abstract

Poor nutritional status of pregnant women is associated with adverse births including intrauterine growth disorders and low birth weight (LBW), which have a detrimental impact on the development of their lives. The purpose of this study was to find out about the relationship between upper arm circumference (LiLa) in pregnant women and low birth weight babies. This type of research is a type of quantitative analytic study using a cross-sectional design, by taking a sample with a total sample. The results of the research on the nutritional status of pregnant women showed that 35 respondents (34.3%) experienced CED and 67 respondents (65.7%) did not experience CED, 30 respondents had LBW babies (29.4%) and 72 respondents did not have LBW (70.6%). The relationship between the nutritional status of pregnant women and the incidence of LBW was found that most of the respondents who experienced CED had babies who were LBW, namely 16 respondents (45.7%) and the respondents who did not experience CED were mostly not gave birth to LBW babies, namely as many as 53 respondents (79.1%). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between the nutritional status of pregnant women based on Lila and the incidence of LBW at the Bangetayu Health Center, Semarang City.

Abstract

Premenopausal syndrome causes symptom physical and psychological. Disturbance psychology in general occurs in women transition is worry. One of possible efforts done that is do yoga exercises. Know the influence of yoga exercise on decline stress levels in women pre menopause in the Village Potatoes Subdistrict Toroh Grobogan Regency. Research design pre-experimental, with design one-group pre-posttest design. Samples required as many as 33 people with random sampling technique. Data collection using pre and post intervention questionnaires. Data analysis used the paired t test. The average stress level before yoga exercise was 17.97 with standard deviation 1.36. The minimum score is 15, meanwhile score maximum namely 21. The average stress level after yoga exercise is 10.72 with standard deviation 1.97. The minimum score is 7, meanwhile score maximum namely 15. Paired sample t-test obtained a p value of 0.000 (< 0.05), meaning There is the influence of yoga exercise on stress levels in women pre menopause. The influence of yoga exercise on stress levels in women pre menopause in the Village Potatoes Subdistrict Toroh Grobogan Regency.

Abstract

Integrated Antenatal Care is a comprehensive and quality antenatal service for all pregnant women provided by trained and professional medical personnel. Providing quality services and services needed by pregnant women will make the perception of pregnant women about Antenatal Care services better. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of education of pregnant women to the perception of service quality at Antenatal Care service visits in the Surakarta Region Health Center. This quantitative research method uses a cross-sectional approach with an accidental sampling technique in sampling so that as many as 108 respondents obtained then the data analysis uses chi-square. The results of this study most of the highly educated pregnant women expressed a good perception about the quality of Antenatal Care Services in the Surakarta Region Health Center. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between the level of education of pregnant women with the perception of service quality at Antenatal Care visits with a p-value of 0.027. The p-value is smaller than 0.05 (0.027 <0.05). Improving the level of education in the community needs to be done so that pregnant women are more understanding and critical about services provided during Antenatal Care visits.
