Abstract

The purpose of the study was to design and manufacture of meat grinding and meatball dough blending machine with a capacity of  6 kg. In this study, researchers add more functions on meat grinding to meatball dough blending machine. From the process of designing and manufacturing, has produced a meat grinding and meatball dough blending machine with a capacity of 6 kg for a process. The machine uses a electric motor with a power of 0.25 HP. Based on the test results, meat grinding and meatball dough blending machine was able to meat grinding and meat ball dough blending  and  has efficiency of 96 % for the meat grinding process and  95 % for the meatball dough blending process.

Abstract

Abstract

Intisari—Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan pola pikir mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran khususnya matema Intisari—Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan pola pikir mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran khususnya matematika adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran penemuan (Discovery Learning). Model Pembelajaran akan dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa kelas 1 Program Studi Perawatan dan Perbaikan Mesin. Melalui Model pembelajaran penemuan diharapkan mahasiswa menjadi termotivasi untuk belajar sehingga dapat mengembangkan pola pikir terhadap setiap bentuk permasalahan matematika. Mahasiswa lebih aktif dikelas, tidak hanya duduk, diam, mencatat dan mendengar penjelasan dari pengajar. Penelitian dilakukan 6 tahap yaitu stimulasi, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, dan generalization. Melalui 6 tahap akan dilihat kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan persoalan matematika. Hasil belajar mahasiswa akan dinilai melalui kuis yang diadakan diawal pertemuan. Melalui nilai kuis yang diadakan pada setiap pertemuan dapat diamati persentase nilai mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan dari kuis pertama sampai kuis keenam. Sedangkan nilai untuk kuis keseluruhan materi persentase nilai yang diperoleh sudah lebih dari 65% yaitu 75,90%. Dengan demikian ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa sudah tercapai.

Abstract

Currently, MSME stakeholders are facing problems in selling their products as they often focus too much on the production process and do not balance marketing and advertising. When a product is produced in large quantities, it becomes difficult to sell quickly. Advertising is usually done by word of mouth or by displaying products in local stores. Efforts to overcome MSME marketing include providing training to his MSME stakeholders through digitization. Digitization of MSME is an attempt by an MSME subject to digitize the marketing of his MSME products. Simply put, it makes it easier for business people to sell their products online in an increasingly demanding technology age. One of his ways to digitize MSME product marketing is with the Canva application. Canva is an online design program that offers video, image or photo editing, graphic design and more. The service activities conducted are intended to provide insight into the use of social media by MSMEs in conducting promotions and creating engaging and easy-to-implement product content. Training will also be provided to MSMEs in Kebun Durian Village to utilize the results of MSMEs in promoting digital technology. Up to 34 trainees were able to create mockups and logo designs using his Canva application as an advertising medium to increase the sales value of their MSME products.

Abstract

Mesin pengayak pasir merupakan suatu mesin atau peralatan yang digunakan untuk membantu pekerja bangunan dalam hal mengayak pasir dimana biasanya pekerja bangunan melakukan pengayakan pasir secara manual. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan membuat mesin pengayak pasir berbasis rotary kapasitas 30 m3//jam. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara putaran motor yang digunakan terhadap waktu pengayakan dan tingkat kehalusan pasir yang dihasilkan Mesin ini dirancang dan dibuat dengan model rotary atau berputar dengan menggunakan 3 sistem transmisi yaitu sistem sistem transmisi sabuk dan puli, sistem transmisi roda gigi, dan sistem transmisi sprocket dan rantai. Mesin ini dirancang dan dibuat menggunakan penggerak motor bensin 5,5 HP. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, mesin pengayak pasir ini mampu melakukan pengayakan pasir dimana semakin besar putaran yang digunakan, waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengayak pasir lebih cepat. Sedangkan untuk kualitas pasir hasil ayakan, semakin kecil putaran poros yang digunakan, semakin halus tekstur atau kualitas pasir yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

Computer-aided design (CAD) is one of the competencies taught to vocational students. The software commonly used is Auto CAD, which focuses on constructing two-dimensional (2D) drawings. AutoCAD can also create three-dimensional (3D) drawings, but its features are limited. Based on these conditions, through community service activities, Politeknik Kampar improves the competence of students of SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang Kota, Department of Mechanical Engineering. This activity aims to strengthen the CAD competence of vocational students using Solidworks software. The results of the training activities show the level of success with indications of a positive response from the participants and the participant's understanding of the material being taught. Computer-aided design (CAD) merupakan salah satu kompetensi yang diajarkan kepada siswa smk. Software yang biasa digunakan adalah Auto CAD yang fokus pada konstruksi gambar dua dimensi (2D). AutoCAD juga dapat digunakan untuk membuat Gambar tiga dimesnsi (3D), tetapi fiturnya sangat terbatas. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, Politeknik Kampar turut serta dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa SMK Negeri 1 Bangkinang Kota, Jurusan Teknik Pemesinan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi CAD dari siswa smk menggunakan software Solidworks. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan dengan indikasi adanya adanya respon yang positif dari peserta serta pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang diajarkan.

Abstract

In teaching mathematics, lecturers are not only required to be able to master the material being taught, but also must be able to present the subject matter in a systematic manner. One of the strategies that can be carried out by lecturers is implementing learning strategies to improve thinking skills (SPPKB) through techniques Numbered Heads Together (NHT) in learning mathematics. With SPPKB through NHT can increase the activity and learning outcomes of mathematics. The research data is the result of learning mathematics obtained from quizzes carried out 6 times. From the final test, it was obtained that the percentage of student learning completeness reached 70% with an average of 61.5. furthermore, to see student activities carried out observations. Observation data analysis was carried out using percentage techniques. Based on the results of observations at each meeting and each indicator, it can be seen the development of activities carries out by students during the learning process with SPPKB through the NHT technique.
