Abstract

Many research about initial public offering or shortened by IPO conducted to explain the phenomenonIPO which oppose against the theory of market efficiency, which is initial return experiencing ofunderpricing. This article is written to add literature (in) the area by taking object of initial publicoffering research in Jakarta Stock Exchange for the period of 1993 – 1997. this study show thephenomenon underpricing is also happened in Stock Exchange Jakarta. These finding supports thefinding of differ from various world comer.Hereinafter, we form the model by including some factor which theoretically and also empiricalstanding a chance can explain the phenomenon. There are three factors taken that are mount theadvantage, reputation of auditor and reputation of emission guarantor. Result of this study indicatesthat not all of three factors used in model significant statistically. We find that only the factor ofreputation of emission guarantor is related to underpriscing significantly, so also with the factorhereinafter, this study find the factor mount the advantage correlate to underpricing negatively andpositive corresponding auditor reputation but not significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMP Cendana Pekanbaru yang terletak pada Kompleks Randu PT.Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT. CPI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh manafaktor pemberian kompensasi dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah mempengaruhi kinerja guru padaSMP Cendana Pekanbaru dan untuk mengetahui faktor mana dari faktor tesebut yang paling kuatmempengaruhi kinerja guru pada SMP Cendana Pekanbaru.Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 3 (tiga) variabel yaitu kinerja guru (Y) sebagai variabel terikat danvariabel bebas terdiri dari kompensasi (X1) dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X2). Penelitiandilakukan dengan cara memberikan kuisioner untuk diisi kepada seluruh guru SMP CendanaPekanbaru, kemudian hasilnya dianalisa secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasar analisis diperolehkesimpulan bahwa secara simultan dan parsial terdapat pengaruh antara variabel kompensasi dankepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru pada SMP Cendana Pekanbaru. Variabelkompensasi merupakan variabel yang memberikan pengaruh paling kuat terhadap kinerja guru padaSMP Cendana Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of company size and profitability on dividend policy and to determine the factors that most strongly influence the dividend policy on manufacturing companies.The population in this study is a manufacturing company that is listed on the indonesia stock exchange in 2007-2012, while the sample in this study only uses 30 manufacturing companies.Data analysis tool used multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing perfomed by t test, F test and derterminasi coeffisecient (R2). Based on the result of the study it was concluded that the profitability and firm size has a significant influence on the partial and simultaneous dividend policy on manufacturing companies. Profitability and size of the company dividend policy has a strong positive relationship that can be seen from the value of the correlation coefficient. Profitability and firm size has major contribution to the company’s dividend policy on manufacturing.Keywords: Dividend policy, profitability, size of company

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyzethe influence of organizational culture on motivation and discipline employees working at Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru. To find outwhich is the most dominant factor that canaffect the discipline of employees working at Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru. This research was conductedat the Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study wereas many as 98 employees Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru using the technique of Simple Random Sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive statistic alanalysis techniques and inferential statistic analysis. Based on the results of the study indicate that 1) organizational culture and motivation together significantly influencethe employee's discipline Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru. 2) Organizational culture significantly influences employee discipline. Motivation significantly influence work discipline. Motivation showed more dominant influence in determining the changes thatoccur inthe employee discipline Mutiara Hotel Pekanbaru when compared with theculture of the organization.Keywords: Motivation, organizational culture, work discipline

Abstract

This study was conducted based on PT Daya Guna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir. This study aims to determine the effect simultaneously and partially Communications and Organizational Effectiveness Division of Labor Against Employees PT DayaGuna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir. Consists of three variables: the dependent variable and two independent variables. This study use regression and The study was conducted with a sample of 64 people. Research using census techniques by giving questionnaires to the respondents. In terms of data analysis, using qualitative and quantitative methods using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) version 20.0. The leadership and management of PT Daya Guna Sejahtera Rokan Hilir in order to increase the variable and Organizational Communication Division of Labour is to create a coordinated work, provide workload in accordance with the capacity and skills of employees, willing to go straight spaciousness to directemployees directly in order to create communication organization and division of labor and increase the effectiveness of work.Keywords: Organizational Communication, Division of Labor, and Employment Effectiveness

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of partial and simultaneous promotion mix variables and product design to consumer decision girls in the purchase of the Honda Beat in Pekanbaru. The study was conducted on November 2, 2013 to May 20, 2014 in the city of Pekanbaru Riau.Di province in this study consisted of six variables: the one dependent variable and the five independent variables. These variables are the purchase decision (Y), Advertising (X1) Private Sales (X2) Sales Promotion (X3) Publicity (X4) Product Design (X5). The study was conducted using a sample of 100 people. Research using purposive sampling technique. While the data analysis, research using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) version 20.0. Known the results of research promotional mix and product design positive and significant influence on consumer decisions girls in the purchase of the Honda Beat in Pekanbaru either simultaneously maupaun partially. While for the most dominant variable pengaruhmya girls to consumer decision in purchasing a Honda Beat in Pekanbaru is the advertising variable. So advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, publicity, and attractive product design can improve the decisions of consumers girls in the purchase of the Honda Beat in Pekanbaru, so perlua conduct an evaluation to make changes on an ongoing basis to make advertising more attractive to consumers, while for design products can conduct a survey to determine the wants and needs of consumers on the desired design.Keywords: Advertising, Personal Selling, Sales Promotion, Publicity, Product Design, Purchase Decision

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Graphic Media Riau Pekanbaru address at JalanH. Imam Munandar No. 383 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of compensation, motivation and supervision of employee morale at PT. Graphic Media Riau Pekanbaru and to examine the effect of compensation, motivation and supervision together on employee morale at PT. Graphic Media Riau Pekanbaru. To achieve these objectives the research carried out by using the sample of 82 people, using Census. Metodeanalisis simultanan test data using partial test. Based on the research results showing that there is a significant effect on compensation, motivation and supervision of employee morale. Based on the above calculation of the value obtained by the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0664. this suggests that the compensation, motivation and supervision simultaneously giving the effect of 66.4% of the employee morale at PT. Graphic Media Riau Pekanbaru. Recommendations that can be submitted is the motivation variable expected with this research the company will pay more attention to the aspects of provision of wages in accordance with the minimum wage Pekanbaru, the guarantee of safety and security in the work, a comfortable work space conditions, the status of the employees who work are clear and demand accountability for what is done because in this indicator would affect the morale of employees in improving their work.Keywords: Compensation, Motivation, Supervision and Morale

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze The Influence of Competence, Organizational Commitment and Teachers Professionalism on Teachers Performance (Study at Al Azhar Syifa Budi II Pekanbaru City School).There are independent variables in this research such as Competence(X1), Organizational Commitment (X2), Teachers Professionalism (X3) and Teachers Performance (Y) as dependent variabel. The population of this study were all teachers at Al Azhar Syifa Budi II Pekanbaru City School and total sample were 58 peoples. Multiple regression method are chosen for data analysis by SPSS version 21. The result of this research shows that Competence, Organizational Commitment and Teachers Professionalism both simultaneously and partially had effects with Teachers Performance at Al Azhar Syifa Budi II Pekanbaru City School. Response of all variables give a different result each other. Competence were dominant factor towards Teacher Professionalism. Test result by simultaneously test obtained Fcount ((45,593) > Ftable (2,776) that means all those 3 dependent variable had simultaneous effect to teacher performance. The expectation of this research is Al Azhar Syifa Budi II School should improve Competence, Organizational Commitment and Teachers Professionalism among teachers in order to improve Teachers prerformance.Keyword: Competence, Commitment, Professionalism and Performance

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of the investment risk, return on equity (ROE), and proceeds on underpricing and also to test underwriter's reputation as a moderating variable and how its influences the independent variables. The population in this study is a non-financial companies are experiencing underpricing in initial public offering (IPO) at the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period 2010-2014, which amounted to 86 companies. The amount of samples are 73 companies that were taken by using purposive sampling method. The type of data in this research is secondary data, which is the prospectus that published by the company. In terms of data analysis, this study using moderate regression analysis (MRA) with SPSS 21.0. The results of this study showed that: 1) the risk of investment have a negatif influence and significant impact to underpricing with coefficient value 4,606, 2) ROE have a negatif influence and significant impact to underpricing with coefficient value 1,342, 3) proceeds having a negatif significant influences too towards underpricing with coefficient value 4,953. After moderated by underwriter reputation variable, only investment risk and proceeds that have a significant effect on underpricing. For simultaneous effects, all variables are significantly influence the underpricing with 38,8% coefficients determination value.Keyword: underpricing, risk investment, roe, proceeds, underwriter reputation
