Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi virus di kelas X dari aspekkognitif, berdasarkan hasil peta konsep, dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas X Aliyah Al– FajriTanjungbalai Tahun pembelajaran 2016/2017. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-kuantitatif.Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X IPA. Sampel diambil secara sampel total yaitu kelas X1, X2 danX3 dengan jumlah siswa 95 orang di Aliyah Al–Fajri Tanjungbalai. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakanadalah tes hasil belajar siswa pada materi virus, peta konsep acuan dan wawancara terbatas dengan siswamengenai faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase kesulitanbelajar siswa pada aspek kognitif tingkat pengetahuan (C1) 69,13% dengan kategori kesulitan sangat tinggi,tingkat pemahaman (C2) 31,58% dengan kategori kesulitan sedang, tingkat penerapan (C3) 15,06% dengankategori kesulitan rendah, tingkat analisis (C4) 42,64% dengan kategori kesulitan tinggi, tingkat evaluasi (C5)37,55% dengan kategori kesulitan tinggi, tingkat kreasi (C6) 45,79% dengan tingkat kategori kesulitan tinggi.Persentase perkembangan peta konsep siswa pada materi virus: persentase perkembangan peta konsep siswaberdasarkan hasil peta konsep dengan persentase 18,94% dengan kriteria sederhana, letak kesulitan siswaterletak pada indikator mengidentifikasikan ciri-ciri virus. Persentase 57,89% dengan kriteria berkembang, letakkesulitan siswa terletak pada indikator menjelaskan cara replikasi virus dan persentase 23,15% dengan kriteriakompleks, kesulitan siswa terletak pada indikator membedakan struktur tubuh virus dengan makluk lain.Faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa yaitu faktor minat, materi dan media sedangkan faktor yang palingdominan dalam kesulitan belajar siswa adalah faktor minat.Kata kunci : kesulitan belajar, aspek kognitif, peta konsep dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there are significant influence in learning outcomes and attitude use type of the Think-Pair-Share cooperative learning model with video learning on the subject Human Reproduction System at the High School Class XI IPA 1 Katolik 1 Kabanjahe Lessons Year 2015/2016. The population in this study were all students in grade XI IPA SMA Katolik 1 Kabanjahe Lessons Year 2015/2016 lesson that consists of 4 class. Samples taken with a random samples study by the number of student 66 people. Class XI IPA 4 with the type of the TPS (Think-Pair-Share) cooperative learning model and  students as many as 33 people while XI IPA 2 with the type conventional of students as many as 33 people. This type research is experimental research. While based on the averages student seen any infuence in learning outcomes and attitude the average student in Think-Pair-Share (TPS) or experiment classroom at 81,39 with a SD 7,97. While the mean value – the average students in control classroom at 76,76 with a SD 9,01. The existence of influence in learning outcomes is also proven through testing to make use of hypothesis testing-t and the confidence level α = 0,05, where thit > ttab (2,263 > 2,002),which means in this study while accepting Ha and rejected H0. Averages student on attitude in experiment classroom 60,75% and in control class 55,45%. So it can be concluded that there was a influence in learning outcomes between types Think-Pair-Share (TPS) cooperative learning models with video learning on the subject Human Reproduction System at the state high school class XI IPA SMA Katolik 1 Kabanjahe Lessons Year 2015/2016. Abstract

Penelitian quasi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh genius learning strategy terhadap kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi pada materi Sistem Pernapasan Manusia T.P 2018/2019 serta mengetahui hubungan antara genius learning strategy dengan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling yaitu  siswa/i kelas VIII-7 dan VIII-8 SMP Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi yang berjumlah 82 orang.Instrumen yang digunakan  berupa tes kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi setiap siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikangenius learning strategy terhadap kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan nilai sig 0,000< 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses siswa pada materi Sistem Ekskresi pada Manusia di kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 3 Medan. Penelitian menggunakan sampel dua kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 (Kelas Non unggulan) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIA 2 (kelas unggulan) sebagai kelas kontrol, dimana masing-masing kelas terdiri dari 42 orang.Pada kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan Model pembelajaran tidak berbasis Multiple Intelligences dengan langkah-langkah: Guru menjelaskan, siswa berdiskusi, kemudian presentasi kelompok, dan melakukan praktikum Uji urine dan Tes Gula darah, sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen diajarkan dengan Model pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences dengan langkah-langkah: Guru menjelaskan, kemudian bermain Games Siapa Saya, Diskusi kelompok, Presentasi kelompok, melakukan Parodi lagu dan kemudian melakukan praktikum Uji urine dan Tes Gula Darah. Dari hasil perlakuan di dapat hasi bahwa untuk hasil belajar siswa di kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 79,04 sedangkan untuk kelas eksperimen mendapat hasil 76,47 terdapat perbedaan sebesar 2,57, artinya tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences. Untuk keterampilan proses siswa, persentase nilai rata-rata ketercapaian kelas eksperimen saat presentasi sebesar 72,01% dan praktikum mencapai 87,87% didukung dengan saat bermain Games siapa saya mencapai 73,38%,dan parodi lagu mencapai sebesar 82,73%, sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol keterampilan proses siswa saat presentasi mencapai 69,43% dan saat praktikum mencapai 84,69%. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa, ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari penerapan Model pembelajaran berbasis Multiple Intelligences terhadap keterampilan proses siswa saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of CIRC learning model with concept map on student learning outcomes on plant tissue material in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan T.P.2017 / 2018. This research type is quasi experiment with research population of all class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan consists of 2 classes. The sample of this research is selected by using technique of Total Sampling. The instrument used in this study is the test in the form of objective tests, which are as many as 25 questions that each have been declared valid and reliable. Based on the data requirement test, it is known that the research data is normally distributed and the two classes have the same variance (homogeneous). From the data analysis it is known that the mean score of postes of students who were taught with CIRC was 84.12 and the mean score of postes of students who were taught with CIRC using concept map was 90.06. There is a significant difference on student learning outcomes, it is proved by t-test at significant level α = 0,05 and dk 62 obtained tcount> ttable (3,079> 1,999) hence this research reject Ho and accept Ha. Thus, it can be concluded that there is influence of student learning outcomes taught by CIRC learning model using Concept Map on Plant Network material In Class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan T.P. 2017/2018.Keywords: CIRC, CIRCusing concept map, the results of the study.

Abstract

Science education aims to enable teachers to teach problem-solving in the teaching and learning process. Students should have at least two competencies to achieve learning objectives, including metacognitive abilities and the ability to recognize their potential, interests, talents. The ability to recognize potential, interests, and talents are related to self-concept. One alternative learning model that can develop a positive self-concept and train students' metacognitive abilities is the problem-based learning model. The learning process on the excretory system material demands a process of discovery and problem solving that trains students' metacognitive abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students' self-concept and metacognitive abilities. The research sample was two classes obtained based on the purposive sampling technique. The research design used is the Pretest-Postest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research data was obtained from self-concept questionnaires and students' metacognitive abilities. The results showed that the average value of self-concept and metacognitive abilities of students taught using the PBL model was more significant than the class taught using the DL model. The results of hypothesis testing and effect size also show that the PBL model significantly affects students' self-concept and metacognitive abilities with scores of 1.9 (high) and 2.4 (high).

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) The results of studying biology at the material regulatory system students taught by cooperative learning model NHT, (2) Results of studying biology at the material regulatory system students who are taught by the model of expository, and (3) Effect models NHT cooperative learning for learning outcomes on material regulatory systems biology class XI IPA at SMAN 11 Medan TP 2015/2016. Research was conducted on students of class XI IPA at SMAN 11 Medan T.P. 2015/2016. The study population was all students of class XI of five classes (200 people). The sampling technique used by cluster random sampling, so this study sample consisted of two classes each class consists of 40 people. Class experiment with applying cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) and grade control with the application of expository. The findings show: (1) The results of studying biology at the material regulatory system students taught by cooperative learning model NHT has an average value of 81.03 by the tendency of learning outcomes 80% in the high category, (2) Results of studying biology at material regulatory system that taught students with expository teaching model has an average value of 71.40 by the tendency of learning outcomes 72.50% in enough categories, and (3) the influence of cooperative learning model NHT to the learning outcomes on the material systems biology regulation of class XI IPA at SMAN 11 Medan TP 2015/2016. This result is based on the calculation of the difference test average value posttest experimental class and control class obtained that thitung> ttable ie t = 9.22> t table = 1.667.   Keywords: Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences of student learning outcomes and student learning activities using Jigsaw learning model and Role Playing learning model on Human Circulatory Systems in SMA 3 Pematangsiantar.This type of research is quasi-experimental with two group pre-test and post-test design. The population is all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar consisting of 7 classes. Sampling is done by purposive sampling, the sample is taken from the population as much as two classes because of the class is heterogeneous (superior) and the selection of samples based on the instructions of the tutors and the school. The instrument used for the test result of learning as much as 25 questions and student activity observation sheet. Class XI IPA 3 is given treatment with Role Playing learning model. Class XI IPA 5 is given treatment with Jigsaw learning model. From the calculation result of t-test two parties obtained tcount = 3.30 and ttable = 1.99, so tcount> ttable. Data acquisition shows that there is a significant difference between Jigsaw and Role Playing type of learning model on learning outcomes and student learning activities on Human Circulatory System material in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 3 Pematangsiantar. Where classes taught by the Jigsaw learning model get higher learning outcomes than the classes taught by the Role Playing learning model. Student activity on Jigsaw type and Role Playing learning can be categorized quite actively.Keywords: Jigsaw, Role Playing, learning outcomes, student learning activities.

Abstract

This research aim to know whether is a significant influence learning result and ability to ask student by using cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) in human respiratory system subject matter grade XI science senior high school 1 Kutalimbaru academic year 2016/2017. The population in this research is all students that consist of 3 classes totaling 116 students. The sample was taken in random sampling as many as 80 students. XI IPA 1 is an experimental class using cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) as many as 40 students, while XI IPA 3 as the control class using lecture and question and answer method as many as 40 students. Th method of this research is quasi-experimental. Based on the average value seen their influence learning result and the ability to ask student by using cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) which indicate that the value posttest students in the experimental class is 82.9 and SD 6.3. While the average value in the control class is 79.25 with SD of 5.86. The influence of learning result is also proven through hypothesis testing by using t test with the level of trust α = 0,05, where t count> t tab (6,66> 2,001), which means in this research Ho rejected and Ha accepted. The average score of student ability ask in the experimental class is 60,5% belongs to good predicate and control class is 32,5% belongs to bad predicate. It can be concluded that there is significant influence using cooperative learning model numbered head together (NHT) for learning result and the ability to ask student in human respiratory system subject matter in grade XI science senior high school 1 Kutalimbaru T.P. 2016/2017.Keywords: Learning result, Cooperative Learning Type Numbered Head Together, Human Respiratory System.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa menggunakanmodel pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament dengan Numbered Head Together di kelas VIII SMPN 45 Medan T.P 2016/2017. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII. Sampel dipilihdengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan modelTeams Games Tournament pada materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia memiliki rata-rata lebihtinggi (77,07) dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model Numbered Head Together(69,47). Hal tersebut dibuktikan melalui pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dan tarafkepercayaan α = 0,05. Dimana thit > ttab (2,39 > 1,99).Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Siswa, Team Games Tournament (TGT), Numbered Head Together (NHT)
