Abstract

The use of fingerprints for identification has been done a lot, both in the police for investigations, in government for absences, in population and much more. To identify fingerprints, various methods are widely used which purpose is to produce a better level of accuracy. This is as reference to find out how important the function of the method will be used before the identification process is applied. The renewal of this research prioritizes how far the function of GLCM (GRAY LEVEL CO-OCCURRENCE MATRIX) is useful to improve the accuracy of fingerprint identification using the backpropagation method. The test results showed that GLCM can affect the increase in accuracy to 83%.

Abstract

The digital era makes most human activities carried out online as well as product marketing. The number of digital platforms makes it easier for customers to be able to get the desired goods without having to leave the house. Over time, digital platforms are increasingly in demand so most customers prefer to shop online. This certainly makes entrepreneurs, especially MSMEs, have to keep up with technological developments to maximize sales. Then no less important is the management of business finances to obtain optimal business profits. Digital marketing, one of which is a promotional video, is one way to be able to market products with a wider range on the right marketing channels. However, not all MSME entrepreneurs know how to produce promotional videos that attract and attract consumer interest, including choosing the right media channels to reach an effective and productive market. In addition to digital promotional needs, MSME actors must understand how to prepare financial reports, so that business actors understand targeted financial governance. One of the layers of society that requires the implementation of digital marketing and financial reports is Witpari (Wirausaha Tangguh Bumi Intan Pari) Karanganyar. With the existence of digital marketing and promotion facilities as well as the preparation of good financial reports, Witpari can obtain a wider marketing reach and an orderly financial management process. Therefore, the academic community of the University of Surakarta intends to provide education to Witpari regarding the implementation of promotional videos and business financial reports that can be used to market products and manage business finances. Training is provided through Community Service activities carried out by lecturers

Abstract

Community service activities at the Faculty of Economics, University of Surakarta (UNSA) are intended to provide practical solutions for community entrepreneurship activities. This community service activity helps solve business management problems for the community; besides that it can provide practical knowledge to the public regarding the application of accounting economics through counseling activities. The community service held by the UNSA Faculty of Economics took place in Girilayu Village, Matesih District, Karanganyar Regency. The basic problem faced by partners is business management including financial management, human resources, and marketing. The results of this UNSA Faculty of Economics community service activity can help increase the professionalism of partner businesses and are expected to stimulate the growth of new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

One of the factors causing rice production depression is a typical disease in rice plants. Typical of disease in rice plants, among others, such Blast Disease, Leaf Blight Disease, Disease Hawar On Stem, Crackle Disease and so on. Each type of disease requires different treatment, but not all farmers know the type of disease so as to allow for errors in the handling. This research made an application program that can identify rice pests to facilitate farmers solve the problems of rice plants disease since it becomes important to make a disease classification system on the leaves of rice plants. This research uses backpropagation method to classify the type of disease resulting from feature extraction of GLCM with 4 angles. Results obtained 80% accuracy from 30 data, with 16 seconds testing time.

Abstract

Electric current is the flow of electricity in an electronic circuit where the amount flows through the circuit. The greater the current flowing in the circuit, the greater the value in amperes. The components in electronic circuits always have an electric current flowing through them. The electric current in this component is the basis for knowing whether the component is in good condition or not. On this basis, researchers use current sensors to detect damage to electronic components. In designing DC Current Based Early Damage Identification of Electronic Components with Text Notifications on the LCD using the Arduino UNO microcontroller, the current sensor is used, namely the ACS 712 current sensor. This Electronic Component Early Damage Identification Tool works automatically, the system will provide automatic error information via notifications on the LCD and the system will stop itself if one of the components is damaged. With this tool, Early Damage Identification of Electronic Components Based on DC Current with Text Notification on the LCD using the Arduino UNO microcontroller will make repairs easier and faster if one of the components is damaged. Because the notification on the LCD will notify you of damage to the damaged component

Abstract

Flood is a natural event caused by the overflowing of water out of the river channel because the volume of water exceeds the capacity of the available river channels. An area of overflow from a river is referred to as a flood-plain area. Kampung KB which is located in Pucang sawit Village, Jebres, Surakarta, is located along the side of the Bengawan Solo river, making this location prone to the impact of the overflowing of the Bengawan Solo river in this extreme weather. Therefore, disaster mitigation activities in the form of flood disaster management are needed for the people of that area. The prevalence of heavy rain in Indonesia is increasing, resulting in an increased risk of flooding. The result of this problem is the lack of public knowledge regarding how to deal with flood disasters that may arise. The solution is with disaster training in the form of activating the role of youth family development in the KB village. The target output expected from this health education is the increasing number of people who know the procedures for handling floods in disaster locations, as well as youth being able to play an active role in disaster activities. Information on the Activation of Action and the Role of Youth in Flood Disaster Management in Kampung KB Pucangsawit, Surakarta was held on the 21st October 2020, followed by five students, two accompanying lecturers and audiences. During the counseling, a demonstration of first aid was carried out in the case of floods and questions and answers to clarify the understanding of the residents. After counseling about first aid to flood victims, we also did scene designs or actions in the field and practiced what had been taught directly on the banks of the Bengawan Solo river.
