Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilakukan di SMP Negeri  27 Makassar kota Makassar yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan penerapan Metode Resitasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIID SMP Negeri 27 Makassar dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar siswa, lembar observasi, dan angket respon siswa. Dari data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dicapai setelah dianalisis yaitu: 1) Pada Siklus I, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 65,11 berada dalam kategori sedang dengan standar deviasi 15,76 pada skor ideal 100. 2) Pada Siklus II, diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar matematika siswa sebesar 81,29 berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan standar deviasi 13,67 pada skor ideal 100. Hal ini berarti terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dari Siklus I ke Siklus II. 3) Keaktifan siswa selama proses belajar mengajar juga meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II serta respon positif siswa terhadap penerapan Metode Resitasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa Kelas VIID SMP Negeri 27 Makassar setelah diterapkan Metode Resitasi.

Abstract

Mengingat matematika sangat erat kaitannya dengan hal-hal abstrak sehingga memahami konsep matematika dan kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat penting sehingga perlu ditanamkan kepada peserta didik sejak dini yaitu sejak anak tersebut masih duduk di bangku sekolah dasar. Mereka dituntut mengerti tentang definisi, pengertian, cara pemecahan masalah maupun pengoperasian matematika secara benar. Karena hal tersebut akan menjadi bekal dalam mempelajari matematika pada jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Sehingga diperlukan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang melatih peserta didik untuk memecahkan suatu masalah dengan cara menyatakan masalah dengan memahami konsep, menganalisis data yang ditemukan dan sampai pada akhirnya yaitu menarik suatu kesimpulan. Alternatif yang digunakan yaitu dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan strategi heuristik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan strategi heuristik terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 8 Makassar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimen dengan desain the one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VII SMPN 8 Makassar dan terpilih kelas VII.11 yang mewakili populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang kemudian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, baik itu dari hasil analisi ataupun pengujian hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan strategi heuristik berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 8 MakassarRemembering that mathematics has a big correlation to the abstract things so that understanding mathematical concepts and critical thinking ability is very important so that it needs to be instilled in students from an early age which is since that kid is still in elementary school. They are required to understand the definition, understanding, how to solve problems and operating mathematics correctly. Because it will become a provision in learning mathematics in higher education level. So it is necessary to apply a learning model that trains students to solve a problem by stating the problem by understanding the concept, analyzing the data found and up to conclusion drawing. The alternative used is applying problem based learning model by heuristic strategy. This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models by heuristic strategies on the ability in understanding concepts and critical thinking ability of grade VII students of SMPN 8 Makassar. The type that is used in this research was a pre experimental design with the one group pretest posttest design. The population in this research were all  VII classes of SMPN 8 Makassar and class VII.11 is selected to representate the population. Tehnique of data collection this research were tests of concept understanding ability and tests of critical thinking ability then it is analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics by using t test. Based on the results of the study, both from the results of the analysis or hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model by heuristic strategy influenced the ability to understand concepts and critical thinking ability of students in grade VII of SMPN 8 Makassar

Abstract

Based on Van Hiele's level of thinking, this study intends to investigate students' ability to solve geometric problems. Polya's heuristic of problem-solving steps is used to assess problem-solving ability. A qualitative, descriptive study is the form of research used in this case. The Van Hiele Geometry Test (VHGT), problem-solving aptitude assessments, and interviews were used. Based on Van Hiele's level of thinking, researchers chose three students from a group of 27 students in grade VIII high junior school Terpadu Sheikh Muhammad Ja'far as research subjects. Data collection methods include tests and interviews. Data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drafting, and verification are all research data analysis approaches. The validity of the data is verified using a triangulation of techniques and sources. The findings of the study are: subjects at the pre 0 level only have visual, verbal, and drawing skills. Subjects at level 0 (visualization) were not able to solve the four problem-solving heuristics by Polya. Subjects at level 1 (analysis) were able to reach the second stage of the problem-solving heuristic by Polya. Subjects at level 2 (informal deduction reached the third stage of the problem-solving heuristic by Polya.

Abstract

The large number of rice fields in Borikamase Village, resulting in high production of hay, requires an appropriate effort to use straw into organic fertilizer or bokashi which is environmentally friendly as well as safe for plants. The use of straw into bokashi or organic fertilizer needs to be taught to the farming community, so the community service team focuses on providing assistance and training to the community in utilizing straw as a raw material in making bokashi by using microorganisms as the source of fermentation. In addition, the high price of synthetic fertilizers on the market makes farmers in Borikamase Village feel heavy in providing nutritional supplies to their agricultural areas, so that this training is expected to help farmers by obtaining fertilizers that are cheap, safe, and of good quality to fertilize. The existence of biotechnology applications, provides the right solution in overcoming the damage to bald mountains and the scarcity and high price of synthetic fertilizers, namely by processing straw into bokashi or organic fertilizers with high nutrient content and are safe for the environment. In addition, providing knowledge and skills for farming communities as agents of reform in restoring ecosystem balance through the application of bokashi made of straw on rice fields. Abstract

The Kalimbu market is one of the traditional markets in South Sulawesi with a very high buying and selling activity. The organic waste that is mostly generated from the activities at the Kalimbu Market is leftover vegetables and fruit. Vegetable and fruit waste provides a big advantage if it is managed properly, which is converted into liquid organic fertilizer through a fermentation process. The liquid organic fertilizers produced can help farmers overcome the high price of synthetic fertilizers and save the earth from pollution. The method used to determine the effect of types of organic waste (vegetable waste and fruit waste) on the physical and chemical quality of solid and liquid organic fertilizers used a randomized block design. Whereas the application of solid and liquid organic fertilizers to the production and nutritional content of potato plants used a treatment consisting of P0: basic fertilizer + without liquid organic fertilizer and P1: basic fertilizer + liquid organic fertilizer. The results of research on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from Kalimbu market waste with vegetable and fruit samples also showed that the two samples required different storage times for composting. Plants treated with liquid organic fertilizer from the Kalimbu market waste have better stem growth, leaf number, and stem number.Keywords: Waste, organic, fermentation, hydroponic

Abstract

Many researchers, especially mathematics education research, are increasingly focusing on mathematical creativity. From the observations of researchers at the Guppi Samata Middle School, Kab. Gowa indicated that students' mathematical creative thinking skills were relatively low and far from expectations. One aspect that is needed to improve students' creative thinking skills is to provide a learning atmosphere that is able to stimulate students through activities of reasoning, creating, problems solving, constructing and applying. This type of research is a pre-experimental research aimed at improving students' creative thinking skills, activities and responses through the application of Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning. The results showed that there was an increase in students' creative thinking skills, activities and responses after the implementation of Auditory Intellectually Repetition learning. Researchers suggestions related to the results of the study, it is hoped that further researchers will develop an AIR learning model according to the characteristics of junior high school students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses berpikir matematis siswa tipe climber, camper, dan quitter dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian  adalah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 12 Makassar dengan tipe AQ climber, camper, dan quitter. Teknik pemilihan subjek dalam penelitian ini, dengan memberikan angket ARP kepada seluruh siswa kelas VIII untuk memilih 3 siswa  yang mewakili masing-masing tipe AQ. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket ARP, tes pemecahan masalah, dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses berpikir matematis yang dilakukan siswa climber yaitu mampu mengenali dan mengidentifikasi masalah dengan baik, kemudian  menyusun cara dan metode penyelesaian yang diperlukan, serta mengevaluasi kembali hasil yang telah diperoleh, siswa dengan tipe ini adalah tipe siswa yang memiliki motivasi dan dorongan yang tinggi dalam dirinya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Adapun siswa tipe camper pada proses berpikir matematisnya, melakukan tahap awal dalam penyelesaian yaitu mengendifikasi informasi pada masalah yang diberi, kemudian menentukan teori dan metode yang akan digunakan, namun kurang teliti dalam mengevaluasi hasil yang telah diperoleh. Sedangkan siswa tipe quitter dalam proses berpikir matematisnya, tidak mampu mengidentifikasi masalah terlebih dahulu untuk dapat menentukan metode pemecahan yang akan digunakan, sehingga tidak ada proses evaluasi hasil yang dapat dilakukan.

Abstract

The main problem in this study was the low learning outcomes of students in grade III SDN 179 Tamasongo, Jeneponto Regency on multiplication and division operations. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in multiplication and division calculation operations in grade III students of UPT SD Negri NO 179 Tamasongo, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK). The location of this research was carried out at UPT SD Negri NO 179 Tamasongo, Bontoramba District, Jeneponto Regency. The subjects in this study were grade III students of SDN 179 Tamasongo, Jeneponto Regency with a total of 11 students consisting of 4 male students and 7 female students. The collected data is then analyzed using quantitative analysis. Quantitative data analysis is used to view student learning test result data. The results achieved in this study are: (1) There is an increase in student learning activities and teacher activities in each cycle. (2) In the first cycle, the average value of learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 179 Tamasongo, Jeneponto Regency, was 56.3, while in the second cycle, the average value of learning outcomes was higher which reached 77. The completeness of learning mathematics on the material of multiplication operations and division of grade III students of SDN 179 Tamasongo, Jeneponto Regency has also improved. In cycle I, out of 5 (45%) students achieved learning completeness, while in cycle II as many as 11 (100%) students achieved learning completeness and classical learning completeness was achieved. This means that learning completeness in cycle II is achieved classically because the number of students who complete reaches 100%. Based on the results of the research mentioned above, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of multiplication and division operations through a contextual approach (Contekxtual Teaching and Learning) in building space material in grade III SDN 179 Tamasongo Jeneponto Regency have increased.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) kelompok tani madu hutan dalam pemanfaatan inovasi teknologi pada proses produksi madu yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan berlokasi di Desa Kanreapia Kecamatan Tombolopao Kabupaten Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan taraf perekonomian petani madu dengan tambahan pengetahuan pengolahan madu mulai dari panen hingga memasarkan produk. Diharapkan dengan kegiatan ini produksi madu para petani madu hutan semakin meningkat dan berkelanjutan sehingga dapat menambah penghasilan mereka. Tahapan penelitian ini terdiri dari sosialisasi dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah petani madu hutan mampu menggunakan inovasi teknologi dalam pengolahan, pengemasan dan pamasaran produk madu mereka. Mitra sangat terbantu dengan adanya kegiatan PKM ini karena selama ini mereka hanya menggunakan alat-alat sederhana dalam pengolahan madu yang mereka hasilkan.

Abstract

Aktivitas belajar merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan siswa saat pembelajaran. Suatu pembelajaran yang efektif adalah pembelajaran yang menyediakan dan memberi kesempatan kepada siswa untuk belajar sendiri sehingga berdampak terhadap hasil belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerepakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Sampel penelitian yaitu Kelas X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkajene yang terdisi dari 6 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus yaitu siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu menggunakan lembar observasi dan lembar tes. Sedangkan untuk analasi data menggunakan analisisi deskriptif. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa Peningkatan aktivitas belajar fisika siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkajene dengan discovery learning pada pengukuran besaran fisis tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Hasil observasi pada siklus I hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning diperoleh ketuntasan belajar mencapai 33% atau 2 siswa dari 8  siswa sudah tuntas belajar. Hasil observasi pada siklus II ketuntasan hasil belajar mencapai 66% atau 4 siswa dari 6 siswa sudah tuntas belajar Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar menunjukkan bahwa Discovery Learning yang dilaksanakan dapat menyenangkan dan membuat siswa berminat dan tertarik dalam pembelajaran tersebut
