Abstract

Indonesia has a population of more than 240 million people with hundreds of ethnic groups and all their substances, has the potential for inter-ethnic conflict, if each ethnic group does not have an attitude of tolerance between one another. To address this, the role of education in providing an understanding of tolerance is very much needed. This study aims to describe the implementation of multicultural education in educational practice. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach to the literature study method. The results of the research are that multicultural education is a means of understanding the importance of tolerance through the design of cultural competencies in the form of: 1) individual competence to respect, 2) cultural competence and 3) cultural competence development by concocting 4 factors involved in the learning process, which are related to factors : 1) the character of the students, 2) the nature of the teacher, 3) the pedagogy and 4) the content of the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of fitrah as human potential in the process of Islamic education. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach, with library research data collection techniques, namely the author collects library data related to this research to be able to answer the problems specified. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that fitrah is a human potential given by Allah SWT in the form of sight, hearing, and heart, all of which are related to one another. Hearing is in charge of maintaining the knowledge that has been obtained from the teaching and learning process, vision is in charge of developing and adding knowledge from the results of research and study, while the heart is in charge of cleaning science from all bad qualities. Keywords: Fitrah; Human Potential; Islamic Education

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah pemikiran Ali Ahmad Madkur di dalam kitab Manhaj al-Tarbiyah fii al-Tashawwur al-Islami terkait dengan tahapan perkembangan dan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik library research. Hasil penelitian ini menyebutkan bahwa tahapan perkembangan manusia menurut Ali Ahmad Madkur terdiri dari 7 masa yaitu : 1) Masa Kehamilan (marhalah al-haml), 2) Masa Penyusuan (marhalah al-radha'ah), 3) Masa Anak-Anak (marha marhalah al-thufulah) , 4) Masa Peralihan dan Baligh(marhalah al-bulugh wa al-murahaqah) , 5) Masa Pemuda(marhalah al-syabab) , 6) Masa Dewasa(marhalah al-rajulah wa al-nadhaj) , dan 7) Masa Tua(marhalah al-syaikhukhah) . Tahapan-tahapan perkembangan tersebut sebagai panduan dan landasan bagi seorang pendidik dalam memberikan pendidikan kepada anak didiknya. Berdasarkan pada tahapan-tahapan perkembangan tersebut maka pendidik diharapkan dapat menyesuaikan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik dan terukur, sehingga tujujuan pembelajaran yang telah dicanangkan dapat tercapai dengan baik. Dari tahapan-tahapan perkembangan ini pula, lahir konsep lifelong education yaitu konsep belajar sepanjang hayat. Oleh karena tahapan perkembangan manusia dimulai sejak lahir sampai dengan akhir hayatnya, maka proses belajaranya pun tidak boleh berhenti, untuk itulah kemudian di kenal pendidikan formal, informal dan non-formal. Sebagai salah satu wadah pendidikan sepanjang hayat.Kata Kunci : Perkembangan, pembelajaran, lifelong education

Abstract

Masjid merupakan tempat beribadah umat islam kepada Allah SWT, baik itu berupa sosial keagamaan maupun sosial kemasyarakatan. Tentunya dengan perubahan yang ada setiap tahunnya, masjid meningkat secara signifikan. Namun jamaahnya berkurang secara signifikan pula. Terlebih hal ini didukung dengan era globalisasi yang sekarang ini menyebar luas di berbagai kalangan. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membatasi diri agar tidak terjerumus ke dalam arus globalisasi yang semakin dalam. Salah satunya melalui kegiatan-kegiatan yang diselenggarakan di masjid. Metode yang digunakan berupa wawancara kepada pihak pengelola masyarakat setempat, serta praktik secara langsung kepada masyarakat di Desa Karees Sapuran, Kelurahan Samoja, Kecamatan Batununggal, Kota Bandung. Berbagai program yang telah berhasil dilaksanakan antara lain: mengadakan kegiatan tabligh akbar peringatan Isra Mi’raj, penggandaan Al-Quran dan buku keislaman, mengajarkan santri mengaji, menjadi narasumber dalam kajian rutin, mengadakan pelatihan imam sholat dan khutbah jum’at, menyelenggarakan kegiatan bedah buku, serta membantu menyediakan akomodasi yang memadai di masjid.  Kata Kunci: masjid; globalisasi; sosial keagamaan; sosial kemasyarakatan

Abstract

One of the characteristics of the community is that there is continuous change, always experiencing dynamics and developments due to the demands of the times. This includes Islamic boarding schools. This study discusses the renewal of the pesantren education system in the face of the era of globalization. So the purpose of this research is to formulate the strategies needed to deal with it. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach which is library research. The results of this study show that the key to the survival of pesantren to continue to exist in facing the challenges of globalization is renewal in: 1) aspects of goals, 2) aspects of organization, 3) aspects of curriculum, 4) aspects of learning methods, 5) aspects of educators, and 6) aspects of students.Keywords: Renewal, Pesantren Education, Strategy, Globalization.

Abstract

This study tries to analyze the implementation of Human Resources (HR) management in MTs. Manbaul Huda Bandung City in improving the quality of education. This study uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The result of this research is that the implementation of human resource management in MTs. Manba'ul Huda Kota Bandung, among others: 1) Employee planning, 2) Employee procurement, 3) Employee guidance and development, 3) Promotion and transfer, 4) Employee dismissal, 5) Compensation and rewards. Related to efforts to improve the quality of education of school principals, the provision of awards in the form of free Umrah rewards and punishments in the form of transfer of positions or layoffs, the provision of rewards and punishments has a considerable influence on the work motivation of educators and educational staff so that it can improve the quality of education in these madrasas. The suggestions from the results of this study include: first, a strong figure of the head of the madrasah so that it is always maintained. Second, giving rewards and punishments in motivating the performance of educators and education personnel, is expected to continue to be carried out and even increase both in material and non-material characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of students in Merdeka Belajar through inquiry learning. The method used in this study is a literature study sourced from research that has been published by previous researchers. The results of this analysis can be concluded that the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar policy can affect student learning achievement because it can give students the right to grow and develop according to their needs and times. Of course, this resquires the role of the teacher to recognize the talents and interests of students so that they can implement Merdeka Belajar. To develop Independent Learning in inquiry learning applied by teachers to students, namely: 1) Planning to carry out inquiry learning; 2) Finding the information (Retrieving) needed; 3) Creating every information that has been obtained; 4) Sharing the information that has been obtained is then conveyed to the audience; 5) Evaluating the inquiry process that has been carried out.

Abstract

This research tries to examine the implementation of religious moderation values in PAI learning at Madrasahs and Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) as an answer to problems related to the many statements that our educational institutions are currently exposed to radicalism and intolerance. By using qualitative methods and library research techniques this study concludes that the implementation of religious moderation values in PAI learning in Madrasahs and Islamic Religious Colleges (PTKI) can be pursued in 3 (three) strategies as follows: 1) inserting (insert) moderation content in each relevant material, 2) optimizing learning approaches, and 3) organizing certain programs, education, training and debriefing with a special theme on religious moderation.

Abstract

In the concept of maqashid shari'ah, it is explained regarding the urgency of maintaining the elements that exist in humans, both physical and spiritual in nature to be able to achieve benefit, which is also in line with the goals of Islamic education. For this reason, this study tries to explain the concept of maqashid sharia and its implications for Islamic education by using a qualitative approach that is library research. The conclusion of this study, it was found that the relevance of maqashid sharia to Islamic education can be seen in the concept of mabadi al-Khamsah or ushulul al-Khamsah described by al-Ghazali in the form of: (hifdz al-din) maintaining religion, maintaining the soul (hifdz al-nafs) maintain the soul, (hifdz-'aql) maintain the mind, (hifdz al-nasl) maintain offspring, and (hifdz al-maal) maintain property. So that the implications can be seen in the formulation of the goals of Islamic education, namely maintaining and developing the spiritual and physical aspects of students to be able to achieve benefits in their lives.

Abstract

Islamic education is not oriented to the formation and development of aspects of human knowledge, but also the formation and development of spiritual aspects based on Islamic values ​​so that the process of Islamic education can give birth to humans who have noble character. For this reason, in the context of theology, there must be a balance between dhikr (spiritual) and fikr (intellectual) in the process of Islamic education. For this reason, this paper is intended to analyze the integration of dhikr and think about its implications for Islamic education. This study uses a qualitative research approach using library research techniques. The results of this study indicate that humans who are able to meditate and contemplate will reach a level that is able to understand and appreciate the wisdom behind phenomena in the universe is a form of God's power. In order for this goal to be achieved, the balance between dhikr and fikr must be maintained. In maintaining a balance between fikr and dhikr, the material in Islamic education must contain elements of mind education, physical education and heart education.
