Abstract

Background: Intestinal parasites infection is a common problem in the world. Intestinal parasites infection causes morbidity, mortality, and complication. Objectives: The purpose of this research was to identify the intestinal parasite infection risk factors by using a systematic review of intestinal parasite infection-related existing publications. Methods: This study used a systematic review method. A systematic review of intestinal parasite risk factors was then performed following PRISMA guidelines. The data source of this study was derived from the literature obtained through the internet in the form of research results from publications in journals that were conducted in Hindawi, PubMed, emedicalj, tandfonline, knepublishing, portalnepas, ojs unud, plos, jurnal.umsb, and publications were assessed against inclusion and exclusion criteria. The population is the research paper about prevalence and risk factors for intestinal parasites infection from 2013-2019 and 35 studies were used. Inclusion criteria were researched that identifies risk factors intestinal parasites infection and uses primary data for the research. Exclusion criteria were review study and use secondary data for the study. Data are presented in tabular form. Univariate analysis to see the average, minimum and maximum values, and frequency and percentage distribution. Results: The results of the systematic study analysis are that the most risk factors for intestinal parasite infection are age, sex, residence, toilet, washing hand with soap before a meal, shoe-wearing habit, trimming nails, eating undercooked food, personal hygiene, and source of drinking water. Conclusions: Intestinal parasites can occur in children, adolescents, and adults who are affected by demographic factors, clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and lifestyle. Cleanliness, health, and lifestyle are aspects that need to be improved to prevent intestinal parasites. Keywords:  intestinal parasites infection, lifestyle, risk factor, systematic review

Abstract

Background: Many disasters occurred in Indonesia, especially in Bojonegoro Regency. Based on the results of the report from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bojonegoro Regency, the total incidence of flash floods since 2018-2020 has occurred 40 times. Bojonegoro Regency has an enormous flash flood potential if it was compared to other regencies in East Java. Based on this, the BPBD team prepared a contingency plan to implement flash floods disaster mitigation in Bojonegoro Regency.Objectives: Analyzing the handling of banjir bandang disaster risks carried out by the government of Bojonegoro Regency, among others, formulating policies and strategies in the context of handling flood victims.Methods: This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach in describing a contingency plan containing flash floods disaster mitigation at the Bojonegoro district government. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling technique. Thus, the researcher has determined the informants according to the criteria set, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) team of Bojonegoro Regency.Results: Based on the results of the analysis contingency plan about flood disaster mitigation, it could be known that the risk management carried out by the Bojonegoro Regency government includes formulating policies and strategies in the context of handling flash floods victim.Conclusions: This study concludes a contingency plan which includes mitigation of flash floods risk management in Bojonegoro Regency is quite effective in handling risks to minimize the consequences.

Abstract

Background: The cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia continues to increase, various policies have been set by the government to prevent cases increase, one of which is the implementation of the vaccination program. However, there are still people who are hesitant or afraid to COVID-19 vaccination. Based on a survey conducted by the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2021, some of the most common reasons for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine are related to vaccine safety (30%); doubts about the effectiveness of the vaccine (22%); distrust of vaccines (13%); concern about side effects such as fever and pain (12%); and religious reasons (8%).Objectives: To Analyze the relationship between vaccination status and gender with level of confidence to use of Covid-19 vaccination in the community.Methods: Observational research using a survey approach, cross-sectional study design. The population is adults who access the Healthy People Mall program in Banyuwangi, with a total sample of 437. Conducted from March to October 2021. Collecting data by studying literature and distributing online questionnaires using google forms. The level of confidence is obtained from the total score of 3 confidence indicators. Processing and analysis of research data using the Chi-square test.Results: 87.8% of females and 82% of males were vaccinated. A significant relationship between the level of confidence to use of the Covid-19 vaccine and vaccination status (P-value = 0.000), and no relationship between the level of confidence to use of the Covid-19 vaccine and gender (P-value = 0.124).Conclusions: The Majority of people who access the Healthy People Mall in Banyuwangi are vaccinated. The proportion of vaccinated, women is higher than men. The variable that has a relationship with the level of confidence in the use of the Covid-19 vaccine is vaccination status, while gender does not have a relationship.
