Abstract

The school from home (SFH) policy during the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the routine activities of elementary students at home. Prior to COVID-19, the time spent by elementary school children using gadgets ranged from 1 to 2 hours per day, while during SFH elementary students could spend at least 4 hours per day. The increasing intensity and frequency of gadget use among elementary school students makes the role of parents important in accompanying children. Of course, the role of parents is needed so that children can use gadgets wisely to support educational goals, not just for entertainment purposes. The purpose of this study is to strengthen the role of parents in assisting elementary school children to use gadgets during the COVID-19 pandemic through outreach and mentoring activities. The subjects involved were 30 parents who have elementary school children in Porodeso Village, Sekaran District, Lamongan Regency. The method of implementation uses face-to-face techniques (with health protocols), door to door, and online (online using whatsapp group). Based on the results of interviews with parents after participating in the program, it shows that most parents have understood and implemented the gadget assistance material for children. The principles of gadget assistance for elementary school children include: exemplary, agreement, consistency, and serenity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the stability of motor skills between five-to-six-year old and six-to-seven-year old obese children. A total of 30 obese children were involved as the participants including 15 children aged 5-6 years old and 15 children aged 6-7 years old. Paediatric Balance Scale (PBS) was used to measure the stability motor performance of all participants. The method of data analysis was by means of independent sample T-test with a P-value of 0.05 as the criterion for all statistical significance. The findings of this study revealed that there is a significant difference in stability motor skills in the parameter walking in a bearn, standing with one foot, and axial movement between five-to-six-year old and six-to-seven-year old obese children. Obese children aged 6-7 years old performed better stability motor skills compared to those aged 5-6 years old.

Abstract

Nilai social justice sangat penting dikenalkan sejak dini untuk menghindari berbagai macam persoalan perbedaan yang terjadi seperti bullying, ketidakadilan gender, dan intoleransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan electronic wordless picture book untuk mengenalkan  social justice pada anak usia 4 sampai 6 tahun, dan (2) menguji kelayakan electronic wordless picture book ditinjau dari aspek validitas dan efektivitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Sebanyak 30 anak usia 4 sampai 6 tahun di RA Muslimat NU Darun Najah ditentukan sebagai subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Kelayakan electronic wordless picture book dilihat dari aspek validitas diperoleh melalui penilaian ahli media dan ahli materi, sedangkan aspek efektivitas diperoleh melalui observasi terhadap kemampuan social justice pada anak usia 4 sampai 6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa electronic wordless picture book telah layak ditinjau dari aspek validitas materi dengan kategori sangat baik, aspek validitas media dengan kategori sangat baik, serta aspek efektivitas dengan kategori baik.

Abstract

Perubahan yang terjadi setiap saat menjadikan tantangan menjadi seorang guru pada jenjang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini yang profesional semakin hari semakin bertambah. Kematangan emosi diperlukan guru PAUD dalam menghadapi beragam tantangan dan perubahan agar tidak mengalami berbagai masalah seperti stress, kelelahan, kebosanan, dan permasalahan psikologis lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel dengan mengukur kematangan emosi sebagai standar alat ukur menilai kesiapan mahasiswa PG-PAUD sebagai guru profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan mengadaptasi model Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skala kematangan emosi yang dikembangkan telah dinyatakan valid serta reliabel. Skala kematangan emosi tersebut diharapkan dapat mengukur kematangan emosi calon guru sehingga programstudi PG-PAUD kedepannya dapat memberikan intervensi yang sesuai untuk meningkatkan kematangan emosi mahasiswanya. Validitas isi dinilai oleh 3 orang ahli dan didapat melalui indeks Aiken dengan skor minimal 0,8. Reliabilitas skala diperoleh dari uji coba skala terhadap 60 mahasiswa semester 7 yang sudah melakukan PLP II (Pengalaman Lapangan Persekolahan). Hasil reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa koefisien koefisien Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0.82 yang berarti memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

Program Mindful parenting terbukti berdampak positif bagi kesejahteraan orangtua dan tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi gambaran terkait tingkat kepuasan dari guru dan orangtua selaku peserta pelatihan program mindful parenting. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan subjek sebanyak 8 peserta pelatihan mindful parenting di KB/RA Muslimat NU Darun Najah Kamal. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket yang didistribusikan secara online menggunakan google form. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis naratif.  Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan peserta puas terhadap pelatihan mindful parenting. Dari hasil tersebut, maka dapat menjadi rekomendasi kegiatan pelatihan selanjutnya.

Abstract

Self-compassion is an attitude of compassion or compassion for oneself, as well as an attitude to see failure as a great and balanced experience, meanwhile, maternal involvement is the active participation carried out by mothers in the parenting process, including the education of their children's experiences. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-compassion and the involvement of single career mothers in early childhood care in Gresik Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation with Pearson Product Moment Correlation approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with the number of respondents being 112 single career mothers in Gresik Regency. The assessment of the research instrument uses a rating scale from a Likert scale with a score of 1-5 with 17 item for variable x and 33 item variable Y. Based on the calculations in the hypothesis test, it can be seen that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because it is known that the r value is 0.25 or the KP value is 6.25% and tcount ttable or 3,4960 1.2893. So from these calculations it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between self-compassion and the involvement of single career mothers, but the degree of relationship or correlation coefficient is in the low category, and mother's involvement is influenced by other factors by 93.25%.

Abstract

Problems related to fulfilling children’s rights, including early childhood recreation rights, continue to exist. However, sometimes parents and teachers think children’s right to recreation is less critical because it is only for fun. In contrast, it impacts children’s social-emotional aspects, such as emotional regulation and self-confidence. On the other hand, Bangkalan Regency itself has many local tours. The aims of this study were: (1) to develop a digital encyclopedia containing local tourism and (2) to test the feasibility of a digital encyclopedia in terms of validity and practicality. The researcher involved 39 kindergarten-aged children at TK Kartika IV-89 Bangkalan as the sample. This study was research and development with ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. Data collection techniques consisted of interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Research data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to review whether the digital encyclopedia media developed for local tourism met the criteria of validity and practicality.

Abstract

Dilihat dari pelaksanaan, kurikulum merdeka PAUD masih banyak yang perlu disesuaikan, salah satunya penentuan tema kegiatan serta dukungan media terhadap tema pada kegiatan projek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan media Ronggosukowati Educorner sebagai media pembelajaran stimulasi pengetahuan anak tentang batik pada kegiatan P5 kurikulum merdeka di PAUD. Adapun tema P5 “aku cinta indonesia” dengan topik projek “Pesona Batik”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yaitu jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain postest only control group design. Adapun sampel yang terlibat yaitu 40 anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan tentang batik madura antara kelas yang menggunakan Ronggosukowati Educorner dengan kelas yang tidak menggunakan Ronggosukowati Educorner. Ronggosukowati Educorner efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan anak tentang batik Madura dan dapat diterapkan secara luas dengan penyesuaian pada konten batiknya.
