Abstract

High-intensity exercise exercises in the exercise process use enormous amounts of muscle glycocal energy to strengthen adipose tissue into energy acids, energy requirements balanced with oxygen demand that will improve pulmonary performance and physiology. Weight-adjusting exercises are adjusted to the adaptation and physiology of muscles, increased muscle development and physiological muscles and muscles increases into more so that the energy process increases both muscle glycogen and increased fat oxidation. In this study the sample will be divided into 2 groups, group I will be given High intensity interval training, group II will be given Circuit weight training, both groups aim to reduce the percentage of body fat and increase the vital capacity of the lung. This study measures the pre and post test results so that it will be measured before treatment and after treatment after the exercise program for 6 weeks. Samples will be measured using Bioelectrical Impedance Analisys to measure the percentage of body fat and Spirometry to measure vital pulmonary capacity.The results of the first group hypothesis test showed the value before the fat percentage of 21.75 and after training to be 19.46, then before the vital capacity of the lungs 2.32 and after training to 4.02. While in group 2 the fat percentage value was 21.55 and the training was determined to be 19.79. For the value of vital capacity of lung 2.46 and after training to 3.64, with the probability value in both groups was 0.000 which means (p <0.05) and the measurement was no significant difference from both exercises. In the test of hypothesis III the comparison of results in group I , II, t-test independent sample with the result of the average group I fat difference 2.29 ± 0.46, KVparu 1.75 ± 0.55, Group II fat% 1.70 ± 0.43, KVparu 1.17 ± 0.45 with fat% probability value (p = 0,725) and KVparu (p = 0,073) which means (p> 0,05) and can. There was no significant difference between the three interventions.The conclusion of this research is high intensity interval training as well as ciecuit weight training in decreasing body fat percentage and increasing vital capacity of lung

Abstract

Prevalensi low back pain meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya aktivitas manusia. Aktivitas yang berlebihan dalam posisi statis dapat menimbulkan Non Specific Low back pain. Non Specific Low back pain merupakan nyeri di sekitar punggung bawah yang disebabkan karena gangguan non patologis. Non Specific Low back pain dapat mengakibatkan nyeri, spasme otot dan imbalance muscle, sehingga stabilitas otot perut dan punggung bawah mengalami penurunan, mobilitas lumbal terbatas, mengakibatkan penurunan aktivitas fungsional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan intervensi Rhytmic Stabilization Exercise lebih baik dari pada intervensi Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pada kondisi Non Specific Low back pain. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre-test and post-test control group design. Kelompok I terdiri dari 16 orang dengan intervensi yang diberikan adalah Rhytmic Stabilization Exercise dan Kelompok II yang terdiri dari 16 orang dengan intervensi yang diberikan adalah Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR). Kemampuan fungsional diukur menggunakan Oswestry Disability Index (ODI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pada Kelompok I dengan nilai rerata pre test 25,50 ± 1,751% dan post test 21,12 ± 1,962%, (2) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan fungsional pada Kelompok II dengan hasil rerata pre test 24,93 ± 2,08% dan post test 21,43 ± 2,52%, (3) terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil tes ODI pada Kelompok I dan Kelompok II dengan hasil rerata ± SB Kelompok I 4,37 ± 1,147% dan rerata ± SB Kelompok II 3,50 ± 1,211 % dengan nilai p = 0,044 yang berarti intervensi Rhytmic Stabilization Exercise lebih baik dari pada intervensi Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pada kondisi Non Specific Low back pain. Disimpulkan bahwa intervensi Rhytmic Stabilization Exercise lebih baik dari pada intervensi Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan fungsional pada kondisi Non Specific Low back pain.Kata Kunci: Oswestry Disability Index, Rhytmic Stabilization Exercise, Post Isometric Relaxation (PIR), Non Specific Low back pain

Abstract

Among skateboarders frequently faced with recurrent injury especially on ankle region. They seldom take attention to their injury and if the condition left untreated, it will turn into chronic ankle instability. This condition will disturb dynamic balance while playing skateboard. The purpose of this research is to find if dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise are more effective than elastic band and core stability exercise for the improvement of dynamic balance. This experimental research using pre and post test two group design. Sample was taken with simple random sampling. Total of 24 samples were divided into 2 groups, each group contain 12 samples. Group I had dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise while Group II had elastic band intervention and core stability exercise. The exercise was done 3 times per week for 6 weeks. Data was taken with measurement dynamic balance using modified bass test of dynamic balance before and after exercise to each group. The mean difference test increasement of dynamic balance with paired sample t-test results p value 0.001 (p<0.05) within treatment Group I and p value 0.001 (p<0.05) within treatment Group II. which mean there is significantly difference of increasing value dynamic balance before and after intervention within both group. Difference test before intervention in treatment Group I and Group II with independent t-test result p value 0.818 (p>0.05) in which there is no significant difference between groups before intervention. and difference test after intervention in treatment Group I and Group II with independent t-test shows significant difference with p value 0.001 (p<0.05). This study shows that dumbbell lunges intervention and core stability exercise result in better improvement of dynamic balance than elastic band intervention and core stability exercise among skateboarders.

Abstract

Sindrom myofascial pada otot upper trapezius merupakan nyeri otot yang ditandai oleh satu atau beberapa myofascial trigger point pada otot upper trapezius. Posisi kerja statis dalam jangka waktu lama memicu timbulnya masalah tersebutdan mengakibatkan nyeri dan keterbatasan gerak pada leher sehingga akan menimbulkan disabilitas leher. Penanganan fisioterapi berupa integrated neuromuscular inhibition technique (INIT) dan contract relax stretching yang dikombinasikan dengan modalitas ultrasound berdampak pada penurunan disabilitas leher. Tujuan: mengetahui metode yang lebih efektif dalam menurunkan disabilitas leher pada sindrom myofascial otot upper trapezius.Metode: Jenis penelitian eksperimental dengan rancangan randomizedpre test and post test group design. Sampel sebanyak 24 orang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing 12 orang secara random. Kelompok perlakuan 1 dengan kombinasi INIT dengan ultrasound, sedangkan perlakuan 2 dengan contract relax stretching dengan ultrasound. Data diperoleh dengan mengukur disabilitas leher menggunakan Neck Disability Index(NDI), lingkup gerak sendi leher (LGS) dengan goniometerpada saat sebelum dan setelah perlakuan. Hasil:Diperoleh penurunan NDI22,50±2,43%(p<0,001) dan peningkatan LGS 5,083±1,0840 (p<0,001) pada Kelompok 1.Kelompok 2 juga terdapat penurunan NDI 17,33±3,05%(p<0,001) dan peningkatan LGS3,333±0,7780 (p<0,001). Hal ini berarti bahwa dalam setiap kelompok terjadi penurunan disabilitas leher secara bermakna. Hasil uji antar kelompok menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada penurunan NDI (p<0,001) dan peningkatan LGS (p<0,001). Simpulan: penambahan INIT lebih menurunkan disabilitas leher daripada contract relax stretching pada intervensi ultrasound dalam kasus sindrom myofascial otot upper trapeziusKata kunci : myofascial, trapezius, INIT, ultrasound, stretching, disabilitas leher

Abstract

Background: Q-angle is the angle between the quadriceps and patellar tendon and showing the angle of the quadriceps muscle tension. Pelvic widening in women does not occur in men who lead the Q-angle in women begins to enlarge during adolescence than men. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the addition of kinesiology tape on CKC training and stretching without additional kinesiology tape on CKC training and stretching in women. Methods: This research was a randomized experimental design with pre-test and post-test group design. The sample contain by 24 people divided into two groups of 12 people each. Treatment group with the addition of kinesiology tape on CKC training and stretching, while the control group only CKC training and stretching. This research was conducted for 8 weeks, 2 times in a week. The data collected by the Q-angle measured using a goniometer at the time before and after treatment. Result: The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test, Q-angle was obtained with p = 0.002 for the different treatment groups with an average of 12.25 and in control group acquired Q-angle, with p = 0.002 with 6.416 average difference, and different 47.59% with treatment group. Mann-Whitney test results the average of difference of decreasing of treatment group is 18.5 and the average of difference of control group is 6.5 different 64.86% with treatment group, showed that there were significant differences in the decrease in Q-angle between the two groups with the result p = 0.001 (p <0.05). Conclusion: Conclusions of research are: the addition of kinesiology tape on the training of Closed Kinetic Chain (CKC) and stretching better in reducing excessive Q-angle in women. Suggestion: For the next research suggest to add dependent variables as: muscle strength, functional and speed of muscle contraction of Vastus Medial Oblique (VMO), individual addressing treatment, and use x-ray as measurement tool.

Abstract

Impaired lung function is a disease caused by various reasons, such as viruses,bacteria, dustan do ther particles. It is exposure by dust tea every day of lab or sortingresult in decrease of lung function. This study aims to determine the role of breathingexercise in improving forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and vital capacity(VC). The research designs is experiment trueby the one grouppre-testandpost-testdesign, where taking sample from the population by random that ful fill the inclusionand exclusion criteria. There are 10 groups of people and getting treatment BreathingExercise. Frequency of exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The subjects were all lab orssorting who had impaired lung that has been diagnosed by the measured procedurewith lung physiology measure ments were performed using aspirometer in the teafactory of PT. Candi Loka Jamus Ngawi. The significance analysis of Pairedt-test(paired) showed that giving breathing exercise increase the vital capasity (VC) andforced expiratory volume (FEV1) was significantly different (p <0.05). While differentteston VC and FEV1 after treatment with the Independentt-test (unpaired) show that thevalue of p =0.749. The results means that there isno an increase between the value offorced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) and Vital Capacity (VC) after treatment.Thus it can be concluded, the giving of breathing exercises is as better as to increase thevalue offorced expiratory volumein 1 second (FEV1) and Vital Capacity (VC).

Abstract

Fase pemulihan merupakan bagian yang sangat penting untuk menjaga sistem kardiovaskulertubuh.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan efektivitas renang lambat gaya bebas dan senam Tai Chi dalam menurunkan denyut nadi pemulihan pada anggota TNI-AD Rindam IX/Udayana.Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian pre dan post test group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simplerandomsampling.Penurunan denyut nadi diukur menggunakan metode Brouha. Sampel dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, kelompok 1 (n=15) diberikan intervensi renang lambat gaya bebas setelah renang sprint gaya bebas 50 m, sedangkan kelompok 2 (n=15) diberikan intervensi senam Tai Chi setelah renang sprint gaya bebas 50 m. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 18 kali selama 6 minggu. Analisis statistik dengan Uji Paired sample T-test pada masing-masing Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menunjukkan hasil p = 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan pada kedua kelompok terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna pada penurunan denyut nadi. Sedangkan uji beda Kelompok 1 dan Kelompok 2 dengan Uji Independent Sampel Test menunjukkan hasil p = 0,000 yang berarti bahwa penurunan denyut nadi pemulihan pada kedua kelompok menunjukkan perbedaan yang bermakna. Penurunan denyut nadi pemulihan pada Kelompok 1 sebesar 31,47 kali/menit, pada Kelompok 2 penurunan denyut nadi pemulihan sebesar 24,27 kali/menit. Disimpulkan bahwa renang lambat gaya bebas lebih efektif menurunkan denyut nadi pemulihan daripada senam Tai Chi pada anggota TNI-AD Rindam IX/Udayana. Diharapkan untuk melakukan renang lambat gaya bebas untuk mempercepat pemulihan denyut nadi.Kata Kunci :Renang Lambat Gaya Bebas, Senam Tai Chi, Metode Brouha, Penurunan Denyut NadiPemulihan

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui efektifitas peningkatan fleksibilitas otot hamstring pada pemberian Myofascial Release dan latihan Auto Stretching sama dengan latihan Stretching Konvensional. Subjek : 28 subjek sehat, terbagi secara acak menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok pertama mendapatkan perlakuan berupa myofascial release dan latihan auto stretching sedangkan kelompok kedua mendapat perlakuan latihan stretching konvensional. Masing – masing kelompok terdiri dari 14 subjek. Tempat penelitian: Ruang terapi latihan Fisioterapi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Waktu penelitian: 22 Juni 2013 – 02 Juli 2013. Alat ukur : Sit And Rich Test . Desain penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quosi eksperimental dengan menggunakan rancangan randomized two group pre-test and post-test design hasil : Masing – masing kelompok diuji normalitas data dengan Shapiro Wilk Test, untuk Kelompok I(p<0,05) maka data tidak berdistribusi normal. Kelompok II(p>0,05) maka data berdistribusi normal. Pada Kelompok I dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Singed Ranks Test dan didapatkan nilai p<0,05 yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan yang bermakna rata – rata nilai fleksibilitas otot hamstring sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi myofascial release dan latihan auto stretching. Kelompok II dengan menggunakan uji beda dua rata – rata yaitu paired sample t-test didapatkan nilai p<0,05 yang berarti bahwa ada perbedaan yang bermakna rata – rata nilai fleksibilitas otot hamstring sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi latihan stretching konvensional Pada uji beda sesudah perlakuan kelompok I dan II uji Independent t test didapatkan p= 0,053 (p>0.05), hal tersebut menunjukkan pemberian latihan kelompok I dan kelompok II adalah sama. Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan analisis penelitian yang telah dilakukan dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi myofascial release dan latihan auto stretching dapat meningkatkan nilai fleksibilitas otot hamstring. Aplikasi latihan stretching konvensional dapat meningkatkan nilai fleksibilitas otot hamstring. Namun aplikasi myofascial release dan latihan auto stretching tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna dengan latihan stretching konvensional dalam meningkatkan nilai fleksibilitas otot hamstring.

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan latihan isometrik pada otot ekstensor knee dan plantar fleksor ankle dengan latihan konvensional pada peningkatan vertical jump Subjek : 24 subjek sehat, terbagi secara acak menjadi 2 kelompok. Kelompok pertama mendapatkan perlakuan berupa latihan isometrik dan kelompok kedua mendapat perlakuan latihan konvensional. masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 12 subjek. Tempat penelitian: Gajah merah gym. Waktu penelitian: 17 juni 2013 – 17 juli 2013. Alat ukur : Vertical jump test . Desain penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis quasi, rancangan penelitian dengan menggunakan two group pre test and post test design. Hasil : Masing-masing kelompok diuji normalitas data, untuk kelompok I dan kelompok II data berdistribusi normal maka diuji dengan Dependent t test. Pada kelompok I uji Dependent t test, p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti ada pengaruh pemberian latihan isometrik terhadap peningkatan vertical jump. Pada kelompok II uji dependent t-test. p = 0,006 (p < 0,05), yang berarti ada pengaruh pemberian latihan konvensional terhadap peningkatan vertical jump. Pada uji beda sesudah perlakuan kelompok I dan II uji Independent t test didapatkan p= 0,836 (p>0.05), hal tersebut menunjukkan pemberian latihan kelompok I dan kelompok II sama. Kesimpulan : Latihan isometrik pada otot ekstensor knee dan plantar fleksor ankle dapat meningkatan vertical jump. Latihan konvensional dapat meningkatkan vertical jump. Peningkatan vertical jump pada latihan isometrik otot ekstensor knee dan plantar fleksor ankle sama dengan latihan konvensional.

Abstract

Objective: is to determine the relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the swimming speed of the 50m breaststroke sprint athlete aged. Methods: this research is a non-experimental research in the form of a correlation study to analyze the relationship between leg muscle explosive power and swimming speed of 50m breaststroke sprint athletes. There are 23 swimmers as the samples from Tumit Mitra Bangsa Swimming Association with an age range of 12-17 years taken with purposive sampling technique. The measurements taken were leg muscle explosive power with vertical jumps and swimming speed by mathematical calculation of the division of the pool distance (50m) with a record of the swimmer's time measured using a stopwatch. Result: the correlation test with the Spearman rank correlation coefficient showed a significant relationship with a value of p = 0.001 (p <0.05) with a very strong relationship (r = 0.997), which means greater explosive power of the leg muscles increases the swimming speed of the 50m breaststroke sprint athlete. The average with a standard deviation of leg muscle explosive power is 45.85 ± 5.99 and at swimming speed is 1.07 ± 0.15. Conclusions: there is a significant relationship between leg muscle explosive power and 50m breaststroke swimming speed.
