Sampling was conducted randomized to receive 47 samples. The data collected is macro nutrients intake factors with 24 hours recall method, weight, height, waist circumference, fasting blood glucose level and blood pressure. Data was collected by the method of anthropometry; interviews, blood pressure measurement and fasting blood glucose level measurement. The correlations test using linear regression. Results: There is a correlation between intake with waist circumference (p 0.046 0.05) with a moderate relationship (R = 0.454) and contributed 20.6%, there is a correlation between intake with fasting blood glucose level (0.039 p 0.05) with the level of relationship is (R = 0.448) and contributed 20.1%, there is a correlation between intake with systolic blood pressure (p 0.004 0.05) with a strong correlation (R = 0.556) and contributed 30.6%, and there is no correlation between intake factor with diastolic blood pressure (p 0.113 0.05) and contributed 16.3%.Conclusion: There is a correlation among intake with waist circumference, fasting blood glucose level and systolic blood pressure. There is no correlation between intake with diastolic blood pressure.

Abstract

Background  : Iron deficiency anemia is a national health problem that many pregnant women experience. Based on data from Riskesdas Results of 2013, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women is 37.1%. The rate of anemia in Central Java in 2015 reached 56.2%. The government program to overcome the incidence of iron deficiency anemia in the form of giving of Fe tablet for 90 days with dose of 60 mg, beside Fe tablet also needed to support factor of iron absorption in hemoglobin synthesis process. Guava is a food ingredient that contains micronutrients needed in the synthesis of hemoglobin such as iron and vitamin C.Objective  : To know the effect of red guava juice on hemoglobin level in pregnancy anemia.Method  : This research used pre-test post-test control group design. Samples each group as many as 11 people. Interventions performed on the treatment group giving of guava juice for 20 days in pregnant women who consumed Fe tablets, while the control group only consumed Fe tablets. The test used to know the effect of treatment on hemoglobin levels using anova repeated measure with α = 0.05.Results  : The mean increase after intervention in the treatment group was 1.1 g/dl and in the control group 0.7 g/dl. Based on the results of the anova test, there is the influence of guava juice and Fe tablet consumption on the insignificant hemoglobin level (0.439) after controlled by the intake of energy, protein, iron and vitamin C.Conclusion : Guava juice for 20 days can increase hemoglobin level by 1.1 g/dl although not statistically significant.

Overweight is one of factor that triggers hypertension and affects the physical fitness of the decreasing and easily tired. Objective  : To know the effectiveness of moderate intensity aerobic exercise on blood pressure and physical fitness of overweight adolescentsatthe Nutrition Department of PoltekkesKemenkes Semarang. Methods  : This study was one of community nutrition. True-Experimental with pre and post-control group design was used. Random sampling technique was used to get 17 treatment samples and 17 control samples. The collected data contained characteristics data, anthropometric (height, weight), Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), Dyastolic Blood Pressure (DBP), Physical fitness, energy intake and physical activity. T-tests(paired t test and independent t test) were analyzed to determine the differences between variables. Results  : After moderat intensity of aerobic exercise at 5 weeks, there was a significant different (p0,05) between treatment and control groups on physical fitness (21,84±5,25 vs 12,92±5,24 ml/kg/minutes). There were no differences (p0,05) for SBP (113.47±9,47 vs 117,17±13,11 mmHg) and DBP (80,2±11,55 vs 76,71±8,42 mmHg ) in both of group. Conclusion  : There was a difference in the increase in physical fitness of the treatment group p = 0,000 (p 0.05)

Abstract

Background : Diabetes mellitus is a condition in which blood levels in the body is high due to a disruption in the pancreas gland so the body can not produce or can not use insulin. Diabetes mellitus type 2 is a type of diabetes mellitus that does not depend on insulin or better known as non-insulin-dependent. Prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Central Java was ranked 2nd out of 8 new cases of PTM (Non Communicable Disease), with a percentage of 18.44%. Control efforts can be done by eating high-fiber foods, one of the foods that contain fiber is high enough and potentially lower blood glucose levels, namely bengkuang. Objective: To determine the effect of bengkuang juice on fasting blood glucose level in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Research Methods : Type of quasy experiment study with pretest-posttest control group design. The population is patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus aged 40-60 years in the work area of Kedungmundu Public Health Center in April as many as 60 people. Sampling using non randomized sampling technique. The sample size is 36 people divided into 18 treatment groups and 18 control groups. Intervention given in the form ofbengkuang juice for 14 days. Multivariate test using anova repeated measured. Results : The giving of bengkuang juice controlled by nutrient intake (energy, protein, fat, carbohydrate and fiber) showed no significant effect on decreasing fasting blood glucose level (p = 0.344). Conclusion: Bengkuang juice has no significant effect on decreasing fasting blood glucose level in type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Nutrition of pregnant women plays an important role in the growth of the fetus and the delivery process. Malnutrition during pregnancy increases fetal growth retardation, low birth weight, and risk of stunting at 2 years of age. One of the national strategies for accelerating stunting reduction in the form of specific interventions is that pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency receive Supplementary Feeding. Currently, the provision of PMT to pregnant women is in the form of layer biscuits formulated with vitamins and minerals. Other types of supplementary food as recovery food include animal protein source foods that are given for 90 days. Local PMT needs to be developed to support healthy eating patterns from a sustainable food system using local and inexpensive food ingredients such as trash fish. The purpose of this activity is to prepare new independent entrepreneurs in utilizing local food ingredients as an alternative to local PMT for pregnant women in KEK through training on making shredded fish for posyandu and UMKM cadres in Pedurungan Tengah Village totaling 21 people. The results of the training still need to improve the taste and texture of the shredded fish that has been processed by the participants. Suggestions for implementing the next activity is assistance during the manufacture of shredded fish so that local PMT products are obtained with good acceptance.
