Abstract

This research use qualitative method which dominate with literature studies. Library has role in developing knowledge where need a good governance quality and it as standard in order to get a quality of intellectual generation. Traditional model does not fit in this information era. So in order that library accreditation is very essential to know how far the service in the righ track or nor as like human resource management, activities and the collection. The role of librarian in the accreditation process of library has been begin from planning, team formation, learning accreditation borang, prepare supporting data, valuing borang up to visitation of assecor.Whatever the result of accreditation, the most important is making the result of accreditation as motivation to increase education quality with of library.

Abstract

Literasi informasi sebagai keterampilan informasi dapat memotivasi siswa berpikir kritis, belajar mandiri dan terampil dalam mencari, mengolah dan mendayagunakan informasi untuk memecahkan permasalahan. Kegiatan literasi informasi untuk meningkatkan daya pikir kritis siswa dapat ditempuh dengan mengasah cara meningkatkan 1) kemampuan membaca 2) kemampuan menulis 3) kemampuan menyimak. Dengan mengintegrasikan literasi informasi model BIG 6™ dalam pembelajaran model berpikir induktif,daya pikir dan kreativitas siswa akan terasah sehingga siswa mampu menyerap dan memahami apa yang dipelajari. Karena semua kegiatan literasi informasi dapat dikemas dalam materi dan tugas sederhana dengan melibatkan berbagai sumber belajar di luar rungan ( out door ).

Abstract

Government policy in implementing the New Normal Era is a hope for people to rise from adversity in facing the Covid-19 pandemic. The enthusiasm and hope in welcoming the new life order provides an opportunity for the community to start carrying out activities that were previously restricted or stopped. The application of new normal is welcomed with a positive attitude in various sectors. In the library education sector welcomed positively with the new order of life that began to be applied gradually. How is the preparation done by the library to open services for users in this New Normal Era? The normal concept in library services must be really prepared, both in terms of human resources and collections. Three important things that must be considered to prepare library services are 1. Services must prioritize the health of librarians and users 2. Design services and facilities in the library 3. Make policy access to the library.

Abstract

This study aims to make a citation analysis of the scientific paper of a IAIN Purwokerto lecturer that has been published in an internal journal within three years (2015-2017). Using a quantitative approach is bibliometrics, a branch of library science that deals with statistics (mathematics). The population is all literature cited in scientific paper by the IAIN Purwokerto lecturers. Sampling of all lecturers' scientific papers that have been published in the journals Ibda, Almanahij, JPA, el-Jizya, Communica and Insania (6 journals) at 2015-2017. The data was obtained from the bibliography (citation) of the scientific paper of lecturers who had cited a number of 3,460 literature. The results of this study indicate that the form of literature that is widely cited is in the form of books (73.06%), the half-life of the literature is 13.5 years, and the availability of collections in the library is 54.42%. In addition, there are still alternative titles / library collection that make it possible to become an alternative reference material, namely a number of 156 library collection. It is recommended to lecturers in the IAIN Purwokerto environment to take part in the reference manager training, namely the application of writing citations (such as zotero or mendeley) so that writing of citation is more basic. This study recommends that an advanced bibliometric study be carried out, to dig deeper into the scientific paper of the IAIN Purwokerto academic community.
