Abstract

Abstract------ Aerator is a tool to help shrimp farmers to drain air or increase the value of oxygen so that more oxygen will enter the water to help grow the shrimp. Aerator consists of several supporting components namely AC motor, accumulator, inverter, impeller and frame. This aerator is designed using solar cells as an energy source. In the results of testing the solar cell supplying 5.7 amperes of current with a voltage of 17.5 volts, the accumulator works on a voltage of 12v / 70Ah, with charging current from the solar cell and accumulator charger 5.7 amperes with a charging time of approximately 12.2 hours, maximum calculated inverter power is 500 watts

Abstract

Distance learning causes teachers to think creatively so that the teaching and learning process continues as it should. In addition, various platforms and media for online learning are still not widely known by teachers. The Whatsapp application is an application that is already widely used. In this application, it is possible to form groups that can gather many people to be able to chat with each other and exchange information that allows the delivery of messages in groups besides delivering messages individually. The purpose of this service is so that teachers can make maximum use of the Whatsapp media as a distance learning facility. The method in this service of AbdiMas team took the initiative to conduct a one day coaching clinic using the Whatsapp application as a means of evaluating student learning to SIT Mush'ab bin Umair teachers. The conclusion of this dedication activity is that this community service activity is felt to be very beneficial for the SIT Mush'ab bin Umair teachers. In part, the limitations of online learning facilities and infrastructure can be overcome by using Whatsapp. The use of Whatsapp as an online exam means is considered relatively cheap with a wide reach, easy to use, especially for most of the students of SIT Mush'ab bin Umair who are still in grades 1 and 2.

Abstract

Technological advances have an impact on the manufacture of devices that really help daily activities. Utilization of technological advances, especially for cultivation, is useful for increasing productivity, facilitating cultivation and efficiency of operational costs. This automatic animal feed tool designed with an automatic control system is a prototype for a working system for controlling fish feed in a pond. This study aims to design an internet of things (IoT) based automatic animal feeder with servo motor performance monitoring. The performance test of the designed tool is carried out with variations in the feed load used, to be the basis for setting the timer to activate the servo motor. Monitoring the electric current and voltage in the feeding equipment can be carried out properly, with a maximum working voltage of 223.76 Volts and current. 0.06 Ampere on feeding with a weight of 200 grams.

Abstract

Konsumsi energi listrik   selama ini didapat dengan mengeksploitasi bahan bakar fosil, sehingga cadangan energi ini terus menurun. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi kebatasnya persediaan sumber energi fosil, digunakan sumber energi alternatif yang berlimpah yaitu  energi matahari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan panel surya dengan reflektor cermin datar terhadap serapan cahaya matahari untuk  penerangan pada rumah sederhana. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap sistem panel surya tanpa reflektor dan dengan reflektor dengan sudut reflektor terhadap bidang datar 120°  dan 150°. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa penggunaan reflektor cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan serapan cahaya matahari harian di musim penghujan,  dengan peningkatan tegangan sebesar 0,34 Volt atau 2,83% pada sudut reflektor 120° dan   0,83 % pada  sudut reflektor 150°.

Abstract

The availability of renewable energy sources of electricity, namely Solar Power Plants (PLTS) can be the main source of electricity for BSF Maggot cultivators, the majority of whom are still starting their maggot cultivation business. Maggot itself is a black soldier fly (BSF) larva or with its Latin name Hermetia illucens which in the body of this larva also contains a lot of antibiotics, high protein content, which is around 30-45%, so it is often used as animal feed. The purpose of this study is to make it easier to monitor the drying system on maggot with (IoT) so that the temperature used in the drying process can be detected as quickly as possible if there is an increase in temperature so that the driving motor is not damaged quickly. The BSF/maggot fly larvae don't last long when they are wet, so they need a maggot drying machine to dry the BSF/maggot fly larvae so that they last longer and increase the selling price of the maggot. To find out the temperature on the maggot drying machine, it is necessary to monitor or monitor temperature using the Internet of Things (IoT). to reduce the risk of damage to the machine. ABSTRAK Tersedianya sumber listrik energi terbarukan yaitu Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dapat menjadi sumber listrik utama para pembudidaya Maggot BSF yang mayoritas masih dalam merintis usaha budidaya maggot. Maggot sendiri merupakan larva lalat black soldier fly (BSF) atau dengan nama latinnya Hermetia illucens yang di dalam tubuh larva ini juga banyak mengandung antibiotic, kandungan protein yang tinggi, yakni sekitar 30-45% sehingga sering dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  untuk mempermudah dalam memonitoring sistim pengeringan pada maggot dengan (IoT) agar suhu yang digunakan pada proses pengeringan bisa dapat di deteksi secepat mungkin jika terjadi kenaikan suhu  sehingga motor penggerak tidak cepat rusak. Larva lalat BSF/maggot ini tidak tahan lama apabila dalam  keadaan basah sehingga memerlukan mesin pengering maggot untuk mengeringkan larva lalat BSF/maggot ini agar tahan lama dan meningkatkan harga jual maggot tersebut. Untuk mengetahui temperature pada mesin pengering maggot diperlukan pemantauan atau memonitoring suhu dengan menggunakan Internet of Thing (IoT) apabila suatu saat terjadi troble atau masalah pada mesin pengering maggot yang sedang bekerja dan posisi alat berada pada jarak yang jauh maka dapat bisa langsung mematikan alat melalui handphone untuk mengurangi resiko kerusakan pada mesin
