Abstract

To date, the critical thinking and interpretation is such a constraint for that globalized life and culture. This shift was affected by the maturity of human and their cultures. Alpha generation, referring to generation theory, is that mentioned period of being critical, complex, and liable to search the truth through scientific reasoning and logical interpretation. For that reason, this research is aimed at revealing kind of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) devices which are able to uncover the hidden meaning; and how those critical discourse analysis devices are applied to cross-cultural content and humanistic values using authentic materials. Based on the search of the researcher, there is still minimal research and writing pertaining to this issue. Then, this research hopefully becomes the significant credit to English education rehearsal and development. This research is naturally pseudo mixed methods in the paradigm of Applied Linguistics. The data source is from the authentic material (English magazine or newspaper), while the process of the research data collection is the adaptation of George (2008) which is finally analyzed using Spradley analysis (1980). Based on the need of Alpha generation, CDA in the framework of Applied Linguistics is hopefully providing such contribution and benefits for English education in Indonesia. Based on the research findings, the uncovered phenomena are as follows: (1) the devices of the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) to be applied in the framework of Applied Linguistics (AL) are the biases of (a) power; (b) culture; (c) identity; (d) ideology; (e) interest; (f) politics; (g) intertextuality; (h) value; (i) subjectivity; and (j) agenda; (2) the critical discourse analysis can be applied both in the research and teaching strategy by analyzing the discourse in the authentic material to uncover the phenomena; (3) worldview of people is the source of intellectual and social activity. So, by employing the CDA and AL, the teacher or the researcher will recognize whether or not the worldview is good for the Islamic worldview and the local wisdom in the Eastern country.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPS selain untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan intelektual juga memiliki peran sangat penting dalam pembentukan kepribadian bangsa. Melalui pembelajaran IPS dapat menanamkan nilai nasionalisme kepada siswa. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan terhadap siswa kelas V SDN Krikilan 1 sebagai subjek uji coba dan subjek uji kelas eksperimen adalah siswa dan kontrol kelas VA dan VB SDN Jetiskarangpung 1. Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan dengan jenis metode campuran dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Data diambil dengan observasi, dokumentasi, skala sikap, dan tes menggunakan uji lilifours. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran jigsaw berbantuan CD interaktif pelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai Lo = 0.1177 untuk taraf nyata α = 0,05 dengan n = 32 diperoleh Ltabel = 0.1566,dilihat bahwa Lo< Ltabel. Karena Lo< Ltabel, maka Ho diterima Ini berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan prestasi belajar. Diketahui nilai uji t sebesar 2,308 dengan nilai probabilitas 0,026 nilainya lebih kecil dari 0,05, respons siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dengan nilai mean 61,72 sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol dengan nilai mean 59,10. Respons guru positif nilai mean 62,0 kelas kontrol dengan nilai mean 59,80. Kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dengan nilai mean 41,52 sedangkan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai mean 39,45 maka dari hasil tersebut siswa kelas eksperimen lebih antusias dalam mengikuti pembelajaran jigsaw dengan berbantuan CD interaktif.

Abstract

Pemilihan topic ini didasarkan pada perhatian penulis terhadap perkembangan generasi muda pada era sekarang ini yang sangat memprihatinkan. Pengetahuan terhadap suatu nilai kesejarahan sudah mulai menurun drastis. Mereka sebagian besar hanya membicarakan masalah kekinian saja serta mengesampingkan masa lalu. Sejarah mereka anggap hanya sebagai barang antik yang harus di museumkan. Kalangan generasi muda sekarang banyak yang mengidap penyakit amnesia sejarah. Padahal apabila kita amati secara cermat banyak sekali persoalan sekarang ini yang bisa diselesaikan dengan sejarah. Kembali pada tujuan awal bahwa belajar sejarah itu bukan hanya saja untuk mengetahui masa lampau, tetapi lebih dari itu, yaitu untuk melatih manusia lebih bersikap bijaksana dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Persoalan bangsa selama ini menjadi suatu penghambat dalam majunya suatu negara. Lalu dengan kompleksnya persoalan negara itu, selanjutnya mau dibawa kearah mana negara ini kedepan. Semua itu tentunya tugas generasi muda sebagai generasi penerus bangsa. Luaran hasil penelitian ini diharapkan (1) menjadi artikel ilmiah yang dimuat dalam jurnal yang ber ISSN, (2) Publikasi hasil penelitian melalui seminar nasional yang diikuti oleh berbagai dosen dan mahasiswa pada perguruan tinggi, (3) Menjadi sebuah acuan untuk penyusunan materi sejarah lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penyusunan karya ilmiah ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah, dengan cara merekonstruksi masa lampau melalui proses pengujian dan analisis secara kritis terhadap rekaman dan peninggalan masa lampau. Secara garis besar penelitian sejarah terbagi menjadi empat tahapan yaitu, heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi.

Abstract

Masyarakat Desa Wates, Kecamatan Slahung, Kabupaten Ponorogo mayoritas seorang petani. Ada beberapa hasil pokok dari desa Wates, salah satunya adalah tumbuhan jagung. Jagung memiliki banyak kandungan gizi didalam nya serta banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Di desa Wates. Jagung biasanya hanya sekedar untuk pangan ternak, tetapi bisa juga diolah menjadi olahan yang memiliki banyak cita rasa yang pastinya juga mengandung banyak gizi di dalamnya. Salah satunya ialah olahan jagung, yang dikombinasi dengan beberapa bahan makanan yang juga memliki banyak kandungan gizi lainnya, seperti Susu dan Keju. Serta memiliki peluang usaha yang cukup tinggi dan tidak beresiko tinggi. Jagung Susu Keju atau lebih populer dengan kata “JASUKE” adalah makanan ringan yang berasal dari Jawa Barat. Sebelumnya makanan ini hanya dibuat oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga yang memiliki anak kecil sebagai makanan untuk pemanis disaat hujan turun dan sebagai teman si kecil saat sedang bermain dengan teman-temannya. Sampai akhirnya makanan ini cukup populer dan hampir seluruh masyrakat Indonesia tak asing lagi dengan makanan satu ini, lalu mulai menjadikan makanan ini sebagai peluang usaha mereka dengan modal yang dapat dikatakan tidak begitu besar dan tidak beresiko tinggi pula.

Abstract

This study aims to find out students' Interest in English Online Learning reviewed from Aspects ofInterest, Elements of Interest, and Indicators of Interest. This research wasa case study. The approachused in this research was a qualitative descriptive research approach. Participants of this study weregrade XI students of TKJ,1 consisting of 36 students and 1 English teacher at SMKN 1 Giritontro.The data of this research were obtained from observations, documentation, and interviews. Dataanalysis techniques used qualitative analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, presentation,conclusion drawing, and verification. The results of the data analysis showed that the results ofobservations made by researchers on online learning videos in grade XI TKJ 1, namely onAspect ofInterest, with an average percentage of 46%, had a range of values with a description of LessInterest. While Element of Interest got, an average percentage result of 53% had a range of valueswith a description of Interest. Lastly, the Indicator of Student Interest got a result of 51%. Apercentage of 51% had a range of values with a descriptionof Interest.

Abstract

The Song Continue Museum is one of the museums located in the Pacitan Regency area, which provides services for the relics of the Prehistoric community in the Gungng Sewu area. This museum is an institution under the Directorate General of Cultural Protection, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. In essence, the Song Continue museum is a place that functions as a preserver of historical culture, not only in physical form but in the order of values ​​and norms as well. The purpose of cultural preservation is to provide confirmation to the community so that they do not forget the rich historical cultural heritage of the nation's ancestors. One of the efforts that can be made by the Song Continue Museum is to provide lessons about museums to the younger generation. In addition, it also builds a museum information system that can be accessed by the wider community in order to be one of the attractions for the public to visit the museum. This will also make it easier for the public to get information about the contents and a complete picture of the museum. This research is a historical research. While the method used in this study is a historical research method, which consists of four steps, namely, heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of the study indicate that the existence of the Song Continues museum is very beneficial for the community, especially in the Pacitan Regency area. With the existence of relics of the prehistoric community, it is able to provide insight to students and the public about ancestral heritage, especially in the Gunung Sewu area. Apart from being a means of education, the existence of the Song Continue Museum is a vehicle for historical and cultural tourism. This is in line with the increasingly complete facilities, infrastructure, facilities and efforts of the Museum in order to introduce it to the wider community.
