Abstract

Abstract. Tourism is a sector that supports the economy of a region which has a major influence on other sectors. Tourism is one of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This impact is increasingly seen with the existence of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) and PPKM (Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities) by the Government. At the Umbul Tourism Park located in Glonggonng village, Dolopo District, Madiun Regency, there are 49 street vendors at Umbul Tourism Park or Madiun Umbul Square who depend on selling their lives at tourist sites and are no longer selling. The solution provided by the Merdeka Madiun University service team for street vendors in Madiun Umbul Square who were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic was to empower partners, namely by: 1) Strengthening economic resilience for partners due to the Covid-19 Pandemic; 2) improvement of partner's standard of living through new production business; 3) increasing cooperation among members with the principles of sharing and collaborating; 4) Managing waste into salable products; 5) Counseling on the importance of layout and hygiene for business premises; 6) Opening market access for production results outside the tourist park area. To achieve these goals, empowerment programs are carried out: 1) Counseling on the principles of sharing and collaborating; 2) Counseling on the importance of layout and hygiene of business premises; 3) Training on making knitting masks and connectors; 4) Training on worm maintenance and vermicompost production; 5) Training on making organic liquid fertilizer from household waste.Abstrak. Pariwisata merupakan sektor penopang ekonomi suatu wilayah yang memberikan pengaruh besar  bagi sektor-sektor lainnya. Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor paling terdampak dari pandemi Covid-19. Dampak tersebut semakin terlihat dengan adanya Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) dan PPKM (Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Bermasyarakat) oleh Pemerintah. Di Taman Wisata Umbul yang terletak di desa Glonggonng, Kecamatan Dolopo, Kabupaten Madiun, terdapat 49 pedagang kaki lima Taman Wisata Umbul atau Madiun Umbul Square yang menggantungkan hidup dari berjualan di lokasi Wisata dan kini sudah tidak berjualan lagi. Solusi yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian Universitas Merdeka Madiun untuk  pedagang kaki lima Madiun Umbul Square yang terdampak pademi Covid -19 adalah pemberdayaan mitra, yakni dengan cara : 1) Menguatkan ketahanan ekonomi bagi mitra akibat Pandemi Covid-19; 2) Meningkatkan taraf hidup mitra melalui usaha produksi baru; 3) Meningkatkan kerja sama antar anggota dengan prinsip berbagi dan berkolaborasi; 4) Mengelola sampah menjadi produk bernilai jual; 5) Penyuluhan pentingnya tata letak dan higienitas bagi tempat usaha; 6) Membuka akses pasar bagi hasil produksi di luar wilayah taman wisata. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, program pemberdayaan yang dilakukan : 1) Penyuluhan Prinsip berbagi dan berkolaborasi; 2) Penyuluhan pentingnya tata letak dan higienitas tempat usaha; 3) Pelatihan pembuatan masker dan konektor rajut; 4) Pelatihan pemeliharaan cacing dan produksi kascing; 5) Pelatihan pembuatan pupuk cair organik dari limbah rumah tangga.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Konflik Peran Ganda, Kecerdasan Emosional, Dan Dukungan Sosial Keluarga Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Wanita Saat Pandemi Covid-19. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai wanita dari berbagai instansi pemerintah dan swasta yang melaksanakan work from home (WFH). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis koefisien determinasi, dan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial dan secara simultan konflik peran ganda, kecerdasan emosi, dan dukungan sosial keluarga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai saat Pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Marketing mix as a marketing tool must be considered and managed properly so that marketing in educational institutions runs successfully. This study aims to analyze (1) the application of marketing education services at MA Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo; (2) the steps of marketing mix education services as a strategy to increase the quantity of students at MA Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo; and (3) increasing the quantity of students at MA Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo. The research was designed using qualitative research methods that emphasize understanding of problems in social life based on real conditions or natural settings that are holistic, complex and detailed. Type of case study research. Data collection is done through in-depth interview procedures, observation, and documentation. Informants or sources in this study came from principals, educators, education personnel, students, and student guardians. Then the research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model, namely data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that (1) the application of marketing of educational services that should be considered and schools should be able to make appropriate marketing strategies more specifically schools in managing marketing of their educational services must do analysis, organization, planning, control, (2) the steps of the marketing mix strategy applied at MA Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo some of which are no payment for building fees and making payment options, located in a strategic place then they use social media as a tool for disseminating information in marketing activities. (3) there was an increase in the number of students at MA Muhammadiyah 5 Sidoharjo after experiencing a very drastic decline in 2019 where the incoming students were less than 10 students, and with a new strategy by carrying out the theme of natural schools in 2020 they experienced an increase in the number of students, namely students who entered 14 students.

Abstract

Building a positive image of an educational institution will also impact the institution's ability to compete with other institutions. The strategy of building a brand image certainly plays an important role here. The brand image of an educational institution is essential to maximize the institution's reputation in the minds of the wider community. The research objectives are: 1) To find out the strategies used to build brand image at MAN 2 Ponorogo; 2) To find out how MAN 2 Ponorogo maintains its brand image in competition between educational institutions; 3)To find out the building and influencing factors in the branding process at MAN 2 Ponorogo.The method used in this research is a qualitative research approach with a case study type. The results of this research are focused on the strategies carried out by MAN 2 Ponorogo in building a brand image to increase competitiveness and maintain its brand image in competition between educational institutions by looking at the differences between MAN 2 Ponorogo and other schools so that from these differences a gap emerges for formulate the proper steps.

Abstract

This research explores the role of self- efficacy as a mediator in the influence between work commitment, Total Quality Management (TQM), and teacher performance. The survey method was used to collect data based on purposive sampling from 55 teachers from 3 junior high schools in Ponorogo Regency. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire consisting of a Likert scale with 5 alternative answers. PLS-SEM analysis was used to analyze the data and test the model context. The results of the analysis show that work commitment has a significant effect on teacher self-efficacy and performance. Furthermore, self-efficacy was proven not to mediate the influence between work commitment and Total Quality Management on teacher performance. These findings highlight the importance of self-efficacy in facilitating the development of teacher performance through work commitment and the implementation of total quality management. The practical implication of this research is the importance of creating a work environment that supports the development of teacher self-efficacy. Educational institutions can provide social support, recognition of teacher contributions, and opportunities to participate in professional development activities. By creating a conducive environment to strengthen teacher self-efficacy, work commitment, and TQM implementation are hoped to run more effectively.
