Abstract

AbstractApplying the main principles of life is important to support the daily life of transmigrant students. As explained by Rokeach (in Sauter, 1984), values are rules and principles which learned to help choose life alternatives, resolve conflicts and make decisions. Related to the concept of value, this study used the basic concepts of Schwartz (2005). The purpose of this research is to test the construct validity of the modified Schwartz Value Survey (SVS) measuring instrument by adjusting the conditions of research respondents. This instrument is used to measure the values of transmigrant students in living their lives and learning processes. Dimensions of this instrument are multidimensional. There are 10 dimensions used in the basic value variable, namely self-direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power, security, conformity, tradition, benevolence, and universalism with a total of 50 items. This study involved 251 participants, with an age range between 19-21 years. Participants in this study were active students of UIN SyarifHidayatullah Jakarta from outside the Greater Jakarta area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) who currently live in boarding houses, dormitories or rented houses. The factor analysis method used in this study is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with a Lisrel 8.70 program. The test results prove that all subscales fit measure one factor and there are 50 valid items. And these results showed that all of aspect in basic value, which consists of 10 aspects that are multidimensional. CFA test results show that all 10 aspects of basic value are fit with the data.AbstrakUntuk menjalani proses kehidupan dan belajar pada mahasiswa merantau, maka perlu hendaknya mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip utama yang ada di dalam diri. Rokeach (dalam Sauter, 1984)menjelaskan bahwa value merupakan prinsip-prinsip yang dipelajari dan aturan untuk membantu memilih alternatif-alternatif yang ada, menyelesaikan konflik dan membuat keputusan. Terkait konsep tentang value, penelitian ini menggunakan konsep dasar dari Schwartz (2005). Tujuan adanya penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji validitas konstruk alat ukur Schwartz Value Survey (SVS) yang dimodifikasi dengan menyesuaikan kondisi responden penelitian. Instrumen ini digunakan untuk mengukur nilai-nilai yang dimiliki mahasiswa rantau dalam menjalani kehidupan dan proses belajar. Dimensi dalam alat ukur ini merupakan multidimensi. Adapun dimensi yang digunakan pada variabel basic value ini adalah sebanyak 10 dimensi, yaitu self direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power, security, comformity, tradition, benevolence, dan universalism dengan jumlah total aitem sebanyak 53 aitem. Penelitian ini melibatkan 251 partisipan, yakni sebanyak 123 (49%) partisipan laki-laki dan 128 (51%) partisipan perempuan, dengan rentang usia antara 19-21 tahun. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif UIN Jakarta yang berasal dari luar daerah Jabodetabek, yang saat ini tinggal di kostan, asrama atau rumah kontrakan. Metode analisis faktor yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dengan program lisrel 8.70. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa seluruh subskala fit (sesuai) mengukur model satu faktor dan terdapat 50 aitem yang valid. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aspek dalam basic value yang terdiri dari 10 aspek adalah multideimensional. Test CFA menghasilkan 10 aspek basic value yang fit dengan data.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin menguji model teoritik hubungan antara kelekatan dengan orang tua dan kelekatan sahabat dengan kekuatan karakter mahasiswa DKI Jakarta. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 902 dari universitas yang ada di sekitar DKI Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan inventory dalam bentuk skala.  Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kelekatan orang tua dan sahabat, dan skala kekuatan karakter. Untuk menganalisis validitas alat ukur, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Pengujian model fit dan uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan bantuan program software Lisrel 8.8.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh bahwa; terdapat kesesuaian model teoritik - hubungan antara kelekatan orang tua dan kelekatan sahabat serta kekuatan karakter mahasiswa- dengan data.  Purpose of this study was to assess the theoretical model of relationship between attachment to parents and attachment close friend with the character strengths students college in Jakarta.Respondents in this study amounted to 902 from universities around Jakarta. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Methods of data collection in this study using the inventory in the form of scale. Measuring instruments used in this study is the scale of attachment of parents and close friends and the scale character strengths. To analyze the validity of the measuring instrument, this study uses Analysis Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Testing the model fit and test the hypothesis of this study using the technique of Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of a software program lisrel 8.8.Based on the results of the study, found that; there is a fitness model theoretical- relationship between parental attachment and attachment to close friends and character strengths student college- with data.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the effect of five-factor model of personality (agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, intellect, surgency) and religiosity (forgiveness, general religiosity, god as judge, involved god, social religiosity, thankfulness, unvengefulness) toward adolescents’s resilience whoose parents are divorced in Indonesian. Samples are 158 adolescents whoose 15-22 years old and had a parental-divorced experience. Sampling technique is convenience sampling. The scales are modified from Resilience Quotient, Mini-IPIP, and Religiosity Scale from Kendler. The validity of the scales are examined by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The data is analized by multiple regression analysis technique. The result of this study shows that five-factor model of personality and religiosity have significant effect toward the resilience among adolescents. The minor hypothesis examination shows that only intellect model of personality and general religiosity which have significant effect toward dependent variable. We hope that the implication of this study could be re-examined an developed in the next study. Therefore, for the next study, we suggest to use bigger sample size and participate other independent variables such as self-esteem, hopelessness, stress-coping, loneliness, hope, social support, optimism, demografic fartors, etc. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kepribadian lima faktor (agreeableness, conscientiousness, emotional stability, intellect, surgency) dan religiusitas (forgiveness, general religiosity, god as judge, involved god, social religiosity, thankfulness, unvengefulness) terhadap resiliensi remaja korban perceraian di Indonesia. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 158 remaja berusia 15-22 tahun yang memiliki pengalaman atas perceraian kedua orangtuanya. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling. Peneliti memodifikasi alat ukur Resilience Quotient, Mini-IPIP, dan Religiusitas Kendler. Uji validitas alat ukur menggunakan teknik Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari model kepribadian lima faktor dan religiusitas terhadap resiliensi subjek penelitian. Hasil uji hipotesis minor yang menguji pengaruh masing-masing variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat menunjukkan bahwa hanya model kepribadian intellect dan general religiosity yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap resiliensi subjek penelitian secara signifikan. Peneliti berharap implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat dikaji kembali dan dikembangkan pada penelitian selanjutnya. Adapun untuk penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan agar menggunakan jumlah sampel yang lebih besar dan melibatkan berbagai variabel bebas lainnya yang juga berkaitan dengan resiliensi seperti self-esteem, hopelessness, coping stress, loneliness, harapan, dukungan sosial, optimisme, faktor demografi, dan lain sebagainya. DOI: 10.15408/jp3i.v6i1.8149

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the significance of big five personality, coping stress and demographic variables on post traumatic growth in adolescents who lost one parent (Orphans) in five orphanages around Jakarta. Subjects in this study amounted to 232 orphaned teenagers living in orphanages in the Jakarta area, which was taken with nonprobability sampling technique that is purposive sampling. CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) is used to test the validity of measuring instruments and Multiple Regression Analysis is used to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that there was a significant effect together from big five personality, coping stress and demographic variable (gender) to post traumatic growth in adolescent orphanage. Hypothesis test results from big five personality variable dimension show that personality type of openness has a significant influence on post traumatic growth. The results also show the proportion of variance ofpost traumatic growth described by all independent variables is 9.2%, while the rest is influenced byother variables outside this study. DOI: 10.15408/tazkiya.v22i1.8162

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has had many impacts on various sectors of human life. The education sector is also feeling the effects of the pandemic that hit almost all parts of the world. Learning that initially takes place in the classroom turns into online learning. This article was written using a literature study approach. The data obtained comes from similar articles from various sources in national journals. The use of discovery learning models in online learning can be done in many ways. For example: the teacher gives a picture of the problem to the student to be examined comprehensively. After students can find and think deeply about the material with the attachment of discovery learning. Of course, the material conveyed through the picture must be creative in order to match the character of students' curiosity. In addition, the delivery of material can be delivered by utilizing the LMS (Learning Management System) platform, such as: edmodo, schoology, google classroom and so on. This learning design aims to make students have an attitude of resilience to the covid 19 pandemic that is sweeping around the world today.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to test the fit model of the emotional intelligence model as a mediator variable the influence of self-compassion on the marital adjustment of women with couples from different cultures. The dynamics that occur in women who have intercultural partners are in the spotlight in terms of their ability to adjust in marriage, in order to achieve a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah marriage. This study uses a causal relationship design with a quantitative approach. The study participants were 220 women who have partners from different cultures. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is a modification of the Marital Adjustment Questionaire (MAQ), Self Compassion Scale (SCS) and Assesing Emotional Scale (AES). Testing the validity of the measuring instrument used the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique and the data analysis technique used the Structural Equotion Model (SEM). The results showed that the model fit with data. The direct effect of self compassion on the marital adjustment of married women for different cultures is -0.17. Meanwhile, the indirect effect of self compassion on the marital adjustment of married women with different cultures through emotional intelligence is 0.209. This shows that emotional intelligence acts as a mediator variable for the influence between self-compassion and marital adjustments on women’s with couples from different cultures. This research recommends the importance of this model as a reference for making special pre-marital training programs for married couples with different cultures, by prioritizing the role of emotional intelligence.  Abstrak. Tujuan penleitian ini adalah menguji fit model emotional intelligence sebagai mediator pengaruh self compassion terhadap marital adjustment wanita dengan pasangan beda budaya. Dinamika yang terjadi pada wanita yang memiliki pasangan beda budaya menjadi sorotan dalam hal kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan dalam pernikahan, guna tercapainya pernikahan yang sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain causal relationship dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 220 wanita yang memiliki pasangan beda budaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah modifikasi dari Marital Adjustment Questionaire (MAQ), Self Compassion Scale (SCS) dan Assesing Emotional Scale (AES). Pengujian validitas alat ukur menggunakan teknik Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dengan teknik analisa data menggunakan Structural Equotion Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model fit dengan data. Pengaruh langsung self compassion terhadap marital adjustment wanita menikah beda budaya sebesar -0.17. Sedangkan pengaruh tidak langsung self compassion terhadap marital adjustment wanita menikah beda budaya melalui emotional intelligence sebesar 0.209. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa emotional intelligence berperan sebagai mediator variabel pengaruh antara self compassion terhadap marital adjustment wanita dengan pasangan beda budaya. Riset ini merekomendasikan pentingnya model ini untuk menjadi acuan bagi pembuatan program pelatihan pranikah khusus bagi pasangan menikah beda budaya, dengan mengutamakan peran emotional intelligence.
