Abstract

Stressing only on creative strategy  (theme, lay out, color, typography, or special effect), it has not been sufficient yet, for designing an advertisement. We need to consider need for cognition (NFC) of consumers. NFC is individual need for think and understand information carefully and clearly.Understanding NFC of consumers properly will make the design of an advertisement appropriate its aim, means that an advertisement get to the point of delivering information of product and influence the attitude of consumers to the product.Keywords: advertisement, need for cognition (NFC), and consumers.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence on family support for adolescent spirituality. Subjects were 167 students at four universities in Malang. Data were collected by family support scale and daily spiritual experiences scale. The results showed that family support influence on spirituality of R = .356 p.50. Psychological support was a significant factor influencing on adolescent spirituality.

Abstract

One of the critical variables in the online learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic is teachers' self-efficacy to their ability to carry out online learning. However, the fact is not all teachers have the efficacy of teaching online. The article invites readers to reflect by analyzing the causes of low self-efficacy of elementary school teachers carrying out online learning. The study used a mixed-method approach involving 22 elementary school teachers. Primary and secondary data collection using questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative. The results show that three factors cause low self-efficacy of elementary school teachers: first, teachers' perception that online learning is ineffective and efficient; second, weak mastery and skills to apply technology for learning; and thirdly, the lack of online learning support facilities during the pandemic. This study's results can be an empiric basis for improving teachers' quality by schools, communities, and governments, especially related to online learning, not only during the Covid-19 pandemic but also in the long run education in the digital age.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the influence of Intelligent Quotient (IQ), Emotional Intelligence (EI), Spiritual intelligence (SI) towards the agresivity  to university student. The subjects in this research were 304 student of Islamic State University in Malang, using proportional random sampling technique, with the result that representative and balance each faculty. The instrument used in this research are IQ test and psychologist scale. Psychologist scale are spiritual intelligence scale, emotional intelligence scale, and agresivity scale. The data were analyzed using analysis of regression with SPSS version 10.0 for windows. The research result show: Three kinds of intelligence toward the agresivity are 32,5%, with spiritual intelligence (-548), emotional intelligence (-355), and IQ (-116). A good idea to help agresivity problem with developing many kinds of intelligence, specially spiritual intelligence and emotional intelligence.Key word: Intelligent Quotient, Spiritual Intelligence, Emotional  Intelligence, agresivity.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the relation between three kinds of intelligences (intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence) and aggression. The proposed hypothesis is that there is a negative correlation between three kinds of intelligences and level of aggression in college students. Population of this reasearch are student of Islamic State University of Malang from varied discipline such as Faculty of Tarbiyah, Faculty of Humaniora, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Economic and Faculty of Syariah. Subject were 304 students. Data were collected using Aggression Scale, Emotional Intelligence Scale, Spiritual Intelligence Scale, and SPM (Standard Progressive Matrices) as an instrument to measure intellectual intelligence. Data analyzed by regression analysis technique. The more intelligence student, the less aggressive he/she is. The research also find that the three kind of intelligences have 32,5% portion on aggression.Keywords: intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, aggression

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola asuh ber-genre demokratis antara SDI X dan SDN Y. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan membuat blueprint pola asuh ber-genre demokratis, yang kemudian dijabarkan dalam bentuk angket, dan kemudian divalidasi oleh 5 orang expert menggunakan metode CVR. Selain untuk mengetahui perbedaan, penelitian ini juga menjabarkan kategori pola asuh ber-genre demokratis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengkategorian pada SDI X menunjukan bahwa frekuensi terbanyak terdapat pada kategori sedang dengan prosentase mencapai 65%. Sedangkan pada kategori tinggi prosentase 12% dan kategori rendah prosentase 23%. Sedangkan pada SDN Y, frekuensi terbanyak terdapat pada kategori sedang, dengan prosentase mencapai 69%. Sedangkan pada kategori tinggi prosentse 19% dan kategori rendah prosentase 12%. Hasil uji beda menghasilkan hipotesis ditolak, yang artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata variable SDI X dan Variabel SDN Y. hal tersebut mengartikan bahwa aspek pola asuh ber-genre demokratis antara SDI X dan SDN Y memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan. Hasil t hitung menunujukan angka negative yang artinya nilai pola asuh ber-genre demokratis SDI X lebih rendah daripada SDN Y.

Abstract

Keharmonisan keluarga merupakan tujuan dari setiap pernikahan yang dapat dicapai dengan adanya usaha dari pasangan suami istri untuk saling mencintai dan mengembangkan perilaku spiritual dalam kehidupan berkeluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran spiritualitas sebagai variabel moderator yang mampu memperkuat hubungan antara cinta dan keharmonisan keluarga. Data diperoleh dari 410 pasangan suami istri (205 suami dan 205 istri) di tujuh kota (Malang, Surabaya, Pasuruan, Jember, Blitar, Batu, dan Jombang) yang ada di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Data diperoleh melalui alat ukur The Family Harmony Scale, The Triangular of Love Scale, dan Daily Spiritual Experience Scale. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan regresi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa cinta berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keharmonisan keluarga (β=0,625 p<0,01), dan spiritualitas mampu menjadi variabel yang memperkuat hubungan antara cinta dengan keharmonisan keluarga (β=0,688 p<0,01). Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi bahwa memupuk perasaan cinta pada pasangan suami istri dapat mewujudkan keharmonisan dan untuk memperkuat hubungan tersebut maka pasangan perlu mengembangkan spiritualitas dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the direct effect of creativity on the meaning of life, and an indirect effect through performance. Subjects were 186 teachers (113 male and 73 female). The data were collected by the creativity scale,  the job performance scale, and the meaning in life scale. The data were analyzed by moderated regression analysis. The results showed that performance play a role in strengthening the relationship between creativity and the search for a meaningful life (p <.01), but not in the relationship between creativity and the presence of meaning of life (p> .05).
