Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui jumlah cemaran mikrob pada telur puyuh di peternakan Kecamatan Darul Imarah Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan 10 butir telur puyuh yang diperoleh dari 2 peternakan di daerah Darul Imarah. Angka cemaran mikrob dilakukan dengan pour plate method (Total Plate Count) dengan pengenceran berseri 10-1 – 10-4untuk kerabang dan isi telur. Data hasil penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 6 dari 10 sampel kerabang telur dan 3 dari 10 sampel isi telur di kedua peternakan  yang melebihi SNI. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara keseluruhan sekitar 60% kerabang telur dan 30% isi telur puyuh di peternakan di Kecamatan Darul Imarah terdapat angka cemaran mikrob melebihi SNI. ABSTRACT                This study aims to know the level of microbe contamination  in quail eggs sold in farms in Darul Imarah District of Aceh Besar Regency. 10 eggs that obtained from 2 farms in Darul Imarah were used in this study. The level of microbe contamination were done using pour methode (Total Plate Count) with serial dilution  of 10-1 – 10-4 on the eggshell and the content of the egg. The data from the result were served descriptively. The results showed that there were 6 of 10 samples of eggshell and 3 of 10 samples of the contents of eggs in two farms that exceed standards. From this study it can be concluded that overall about 60% eggshell and 30% of quail eggs content in farms in Darul Imarah District have microbial contamination rate exceeding SNI.
