Abstract

This study aims to obtain the empirical evidence on (1) Infrastructure condition of the road, education, health, and electricity in West Java, (2) the influence Infrastructure condition of the road, education, health, and electricity, labour and government expenditure to West Java’s province economic growth.This study is characterized by descriptive as well as verificative research of which the study aims at giving picture and finding verification or reviewing and testing the existence of empirical theory of variables relationship which are formulated in the economic growth model. Model of data analysis used in this research to identify relationships between variables is Pooled Data Analyses. The research uses regression to measure fixed effect compassing of 22 cities and regencies in West Java.The research indicate that (1) The infrastructure condition of the road, education, and health are getting worst, nevertheless the electricity infrastructur is better than before in West Java, (2) Electricity infrastructure, labour and development expenditure have positive and significant influence on the economic growth. It means if the previous three variables increase, then economic growth will augment as well and vice versa. Road and education infrastructures have positive influence but not have significant on the economic growth. On the other hand, health infrastructure has negative correlation and not have significant influence on the economic growth.

Abstract

The symptoms of deindustrialization in recent years has made government of Indonesia to plan undertaking concrete steps to address it. In the context of MP3EI for Java corridor, one of the main economic activities in Central for Economic Bandung, is the textile industry.Framework set out in this study explained that the textile industry was thought to have a good resistance in the provision of inputs and the output market. Based on the urgency, the research focused on several factors i.e the productivity of capital, government policy on textile sector and businesses accessibility to sources of financing in an effort to restructure the textile machinery. The method used was qualitative research and conducted in two phases, accordance with the purposes of this study. The first phase was to identify and map the current conditions of the productivity of capital in the textile industry, especially businesses that were included in a small scale. The second phase was undertake efforts to expand opportunities for the businesses included in the restructuring program. One of the study’s findings revealed that most SMEs have limitations in revitalizing the textile machine. This occured because their business were considered not bankable.

Abstract

Limited access to health care received by the poor citizens in Jakarta during the period of the previous administration to be one of the issues raised by Jokowi-Ahok to attracts the sympathy citizens of Jakarta in the election of Governor and Deputy Governor of the period 2012-2017, through the Jakarta Health Card (KJS) Jokowi Ahok makes serious effort to improve standards for people in the healthcare sector. Problems appear when the Jakarta Health Card program was launched, the citizen’s euphoria towards free treatment creates an impact on increasing patient Jakarta Health Card users. Limitations of medical infrastructure (health centers and Referral Hospital), they cause the disruption of the implementation of public policy in the health sector through the program launched. The purpose of this study was to analyze the problems of implementation of the Jakarta Health Card (KJS) does not function as expected. The method used is to use the approach method Institutional Analisys Development (IAD). The results obtained in this study is the problem of the procurement of Public services does not always work as expected many factors that cause it, in the case of the implementation of the Jakarta Health Card (KJS) constraints derived from the behavior of poor people in treatment as well as medical facilities and infrastructure are available.
