Abstract

This article discusses how the understanding and application of the religion have an influence on individual behavior in terms of consumption behavior. This article proves that a good understanding of religion and it application will bring a good consumption behavior. Good consumption behavior is the behavior of consumption away from the hedonistic lifestyle and extravagant and consumption behavior which only buy what is needed and not buy what is desired. This article also shows that who has a higher the level of religiosity (religious understanding and it application) will have the lower level of consumerism (buying behavior are considered luxury items is a measure of happiness), this is evidenced by the t value is negative.

Abstract

Especially in the city of Bengkulu, there are two types of universities. In this research, the main attraction is PTKIN Bengkulu State Islamic Institute and PTN Bengkulu University. Based on observations made by researchers, it gives an attraction that some students from Bengkulu University have very detailed consumer behavior towards halal products, while knowledge about the definition of halal products is not so deeply discussed in their lecture world. Meanwhile, there are several students from the Bengkulu State Islamic Institute who are already well-known for their universities based on the Islamic religion, but are still not very detailed in the selection of halal products. By using a quantitative approach method based on the type of primary data through observation techniques with a sample of 132 FEBI IAIN students and 132 FEB UNIB students in Bengkulu City. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, the t-value is 1.42. Furthermore, thet value iscalculated compared with the ttable, which is 2.01. Based on the results of tarithmetic in this study, it is known that tcount < ttable is 1.42 < 2.01, so there is no significant difference in the consumption behavior of halal products in students of FEBI IAIN Bengkulu and FEB UNIB, although the groups of students who come from different scientific bases namely from Islamic universities and the general public did not show significant differences in consuming the product.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis signifikansi wakaf manfaat asuransi syariah bagi Lembaga Wakaf al- Azhar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan metode wawancara dan observasi langsung di Lembaga Wakaf al- Azhar. Signifikansi wakaf manfaat asuransi bagi lembaga wakaf al- Azhar adalah, terjadi peningkatan jumlah wakif, baik itu wakif  yang berwakaf melalui wakaf manfaat asuransi syariah ataupun produk wakaf lainnya yang disediakan oleh Lembaga wakaf al- Azhar, peningkatan ini salah satunya karena lembaga wakaf al- Azhar membina agen asuransi yang dinamakan sahabat wakaf. Wakaf manfaat asuransi dapat membantu meningkatkan kesejahteraan penerimaan wakaf, dan penignkatan jumlah wakaf yang diterima oleh lembaga wakaf al-Azhar juga meningkatkan fungsi instrumen keuangan Islam.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the problematic collection of Zakat Funds in LAZNAS Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Bengkulu Representative, covering collection strategies, constraints, and ways to overcome the constrainst of raising zakat funds. To uncover the problem in depth and thoroughly, the researcher uses a qualitative method, directly to the field to see the phenomena that occur. The results showed the collection of zakat funds at LAZNAZ Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Bengkulu Representative has 2 (two) strategies: first internal strategy and second external strategy. The problem of collecting zakat funds in LAZNAS Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Bengkulu Representative namely, the lack of human resources and the lack of funds to socialized in collecting zakat funds. To overcome these problems LAZNAZ Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Bengkulu Representative facilitated and attended training or workshops to broaden employee insights, as well as working with preachers to socialize LAZNAS Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Bengkulu Representative.

Abstract

Investment can be interpreted as an action that is accommodated by generating future profits. If the first orangutan with tangible assets such as land, buildings, livestock and others, then in the present there is an investment through financial instruments such as deposits, balance sheets, buying and selling of shares, and others. Both types of investments have the same goal of generating profit. Financial instruments such as sharia shares have been developed using the Syariah Online Trading System (SOTS), so that transactions can be made anywhere as long as the market is open. Through SOTS, investors have easy access and improved service quality so that the number of investors increased by 2341% compared to 2012 when SOTS was launched in 2011. And the number of sharia investors also increased by 2.3% from total investors in capital market in year 2016

Abstract

Religion in Indonesia is divided into Muslim, Christian, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhist,Khong Hu Chu and Other Religions. Religion Islam is the majority religion embracedby the Indonesian population, so that business people use this opportunity to recommodificationof religion. Commodification describes how capitalism launched anaim to accumulate capital, or realize the transformation of use-value into exchangevalue. The commodification of Islam in Indonesia occurred in various aspects. Mislanyacommodification "sharia" through aspects of banking, insurance, hotel, tourism, etc.The commodification of Islamic symbols such as headscarves and halal labeling.Besides being able to be used as a marketing strategy for businesses, komodiikasi Islamalso bring positive things if businesses make this situation as a means of education. Theimpact of the commodification of Islam such as the increasing development of Islamicfinancial institutions in Indonesia, increased public awareness to abandon usury,increased public awareness using the "sharia", the increasing number of Muslimwomen who wear the hijab and the increasing awareness of Muslims to use halalproducts not only in food but also in cosmetics.

Abstract

Through this paper the author will measure the effectiveness of Instagram as a media for persuasion of Islamic philanthropy for students. Because Instagram is a social media that is in great demand by the younger generation. This research is a quantitative study with a questionnaire as a research instrument, population for tihis research was students of the zakat waqf management study program of IAIN Bengkulu, sample was a saturated sample,   consist of 76 students. Measuring the level of effectiveness using the AIDA method (Attention, Interest, Desire and Action). The results showed that the effectiveness of Instagram was in the good category as a persuasion media for Islamic philanthropy for students.
