Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu menguji pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Sleman pada materi larutan penyangga. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu, 63 peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Sleman terbagi atas kelas eksperimen yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model problem based learning dan kelas kontrol yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model 5M (Mengamati, Menanya, Mengumpulkan Data, Mengasosiasi, dan Mengkomunikasikan). Kemampuan berpikir analitis dan keterampilan proses sains diukur dengan integrated assessment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai sig < 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05, dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh penerapan model problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik SMA Negeri 1 Sleman pada materi larutan penyangga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the stage of development of a chemistry learning blog on the periodic table element material for class X SMA and the feasibility level of a chemistry learning blog on the periodic table element material for class X SMA. The research was conducted at SMASK Sint Gabriel Maumere and SMA Negeri 2 Maumere. This type of research is in the form of research and development by following the Borg and Gall development model. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and a feasibility questionnaire. The subjects in this study, namely in the initial field trial with 10 students in class X MIA and involving two chemistry teachers, further trials with 20 students in class X MIA and involving two chemistry teachers, and the final field trial with 40 students in class X MIA and involving two chemistry teachers. The validation data analysis technique and the feasibility questionnaire analysis respectively used the validation percentage and the Ernawati & Totok formula category based on the Likert scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan penggunaan sumber belajar yang kurang efektif pada masa pandemi dan kebosanan peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran Kimia terutama materi asam basa. Untuk mengatasinya, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan unit kegiatan belajar mandiri dalam bentuk elektronik (e-UKBM) untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran selama work from home. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui cara mengembangkan e-UKBM Kimia Asam Basa untuk peserta didik dan pendidik; dan 2) menguji kelayakan e-UKBM Kimia Asam Basa berdasarkan hasil pengembangan pada tahap 1. Kemasan pembelajaran e-UKBM mengadopsi model problem-based learning yang diintegrasikan dengan kearifan lokal daerah Sikka. Metode yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Maumere, SMAN 2 Maumere, dan SMAK St. Gabriel Maumere yang berjumlah 40 orang serta pendidik berjumlah 4 orang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan persentase kevalidan diperoleh nilai 81,37% (valid). Selanjutnya, e-UKBM Kimia dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran Kimia berdasarkan hasil uji coba lapangan awal dan uji coba lapangan luas. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal oleh peserta didik adalah 102,37 (kategori baik) dan pendidik adalah 105,00 (kategori baik). Pada uji lapangan luas oleh peserta didik hasilnya adalah 129,05 (kategori sangat baik) dan oleh pendidik adalah 144,00 (kategori sangat baik)   This research is triggered by the ineffectiveness problem of learning resource utilization during the pandemic era and the students’ boredom in attending the chemistry lesson, especially for acid-base material. To overcome it, the researchers try to carry out a research on the development of electronic Independent Learning Activity Unit (e-UKBM) to facilitate learning activity during the ‘work from home’ period. The purposes of this research are to: 1) know how to develop acid-base chemistry e-UKBM for students and teachers; and 2) test the acid-base chemistry e-UKBM feasibility based on the development in phase 1. The packaging of the e-UKBM adopts problem-based learning method which is integrated with Sikkanese local culture. The applied research method is research and development (R&D) with 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The respondents of this research are the grade XI students of SMAN 1 Maumere, SMAN 2 Maumere, and SMK St. Gabriel Maumere amounting 40 students and 4 teachers. Based on the validity percentage calculation, the result shows the value of 91,37% (valid). Then, the chemistry e-UKBM is stated to be feasible to be used in chemistry learning process based on the initial as well as broad field tests. The result of initial field test by the students indicates the value of 102,37 (good category), and by the teachers indicates the value of 105,00 (good category). The result of broad field test by the students indicates the value of 129,05 (very good category), and by the teachers indicates the value of 144,00 (very good category)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development procedure and feasibility level of project based learning worksheets on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Materials for the Tenth Grade High School Students. The study was conducted at SMAS St. Gabriel Maumere and SMAK St. Petrus Kewapante.  This type of research was in the form of research and development by following the Borg and Gall model. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and feasibility questionnaires. The subjects in this study who involved in the first phase of the trial were 10 students of class X MIA with one chemistry teacher. The second phase of the trial were 30 students of class X MIA with two chemistry teacher, and the trial were 60 students of class X MIA and involved two chemistry teacher. The results showed  that project based learning Worksheets development was feasible  to be used in chemistry learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) prosedur pengembangan instrumen integrated assessment untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dan problem solving pada materi Asam Basa Kelas XI SMA, 2) tingkat kelayakan instrumen integrated assessment pada materi Asam Basa yag telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (four-D) yang dimodifikasi menjadi tiga tahap, yaitu define, design, dan development. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melaluui wawancara dan angket. Uji kevalidan dilakukan oleh validator ahli instrumen dan praktisi dengan tingkat kevalidan sangat tinggi. Uji kelayakan instrumen integrated assessment dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Solor Barat dan SMA Negeri 1 Solor selatan, dengan subjek penelitian 47 peserta didik dan 2 guru kimia. Hasil uji coba kelayakan instrumen integrated assessment pada uji coba skala kecil oleh guru sebesar 94,5% dan peserta didik sebesar 80,7% dengan tingkat kelayakan sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil uji coba kelayakan instrumen integrated assessment pada uji coba skala besar oleh guru dan peserta didik berturut-turut sebesar 99% dan 82,51% dengan tingkat kelayakan sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa instrumen integrated assessment yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian dalam pembelajaran kimia khususnya pada materi Asam Basa.
