Abstract

In this 21st-century era, the development of a management information system is one of the efforts that can be made to improve the quality of public services, both in general and in certain sectors, for example, education, where because of the effect of industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0, these days the community often to use the assistance of technology for their social activities. One of many ways that can be used to measure the success rate of a system is using usability measurement. The usability level of an information system shows whether the system is accepted by the user or not. This study aims to measure the usability level of the educational service in the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya (UNESA), using the USE Questionnaire. The data from this research are processed using a descriptive statistics method and then analyzed both for each aspect and the correlation of all aspects. The results of this study included; (1) the usefulness aspect got an eligibility percentage of 83,6%; (2) the ease of use aspect got an eligibility percentage of 81,7%; (3) the satisfaction aspect got eligibility percentage of 79,8%; (4) the result of calculation of all usability aspects are 81,9%, meaning that the E-Service Faculty of Education, Unisa very useful and worthy to be used.

Abstract

Interventions can minimize the impact of developmental barriers on autism. Inconsistent interventions result in behavioral deterioration. Parents have a big role to provide consistent intervention to children. This study aims to review home intervention programs that family can do at home. The research method used is a literature review. The data collection method used is the literature related to home-based autism interventions and family intervention. The results of the study show several programs that can be applied by families at home. The results showed the intervention models that can be done by family are ABA, PLAY, dan TEACCH. Through this study, it can be concluded that ABA is the most effective technique that can be used as a basis for implementing family interventions. Comprehensive interventions are also highly recommended for home interventions, such as modifying the environment and providing preschool life skills.

Abstract

Hands are the main pathways of germ transmission. Moreover, Palms are one of the sources of the COVID-19spreading particularly through touching various objects that carry the virus. People knowledge about hands washing and antiseptics are critical in preventing the transmission of the Covid-19. In particular, parents of children with total total blindnessness should have the understanding on maintaining hands hygiene to support the inhibiting and slowing the Covid-19. The aim of this study was to develop the video tutorial on healthy living habits to guide parents’ of children with total total blindnessness to teach their children to apply hands sanitizer. Therefore, parents could provide assistance for their children both at home and outside the home. This study applied the development research approach in producing video tutorial on how to accompany children with total total blindnessness to use hand sanitizer according to heath standards. The result from this study is an audio visual tutorial on how parent accompany children with total total blindnessness to use hand sanitizer that is available thorugh the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/.1j6JbPAqhu2b5yPELsyWHDV1L2b4Uy1 OM /view?usp=sharing with positive response from users. The conclusion is transmission and spreading of COVID-19disease can be minimized through frequent and careful hands hygiene for children with total total blindnessness.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of a management information system is one of the efforts that can be made to improve the quality of public services, both in general and in certain sectors, for example education, especially at times like this (COVID-19 pandemic), where community social activities switch to using assistance. technology. This study aims to develop an existing educational service in the Faculty of Education, State University of Surabaya to facilitate students in accessing all the needs regarding correspondence and is called the Academic Service Information System of the Faculty of Education, Unesa. This research was conducted using the Research and Development (R&D) method, by applying nine of the ten steps proposed by Borg and Gall. The result of this research is that E - Service Faculty of Education Science is suitable or near perfect for use, with the result of each stage are as follows: (1) in the first testing phase (Preliminary Field Testing), the presentage of yield exceeds 30% in each category; (2) in the second testing phase, several obstacles were found, but can be resolved in the next stage; (3) in the last testing phase (Operational Product Testing), the presentage of yield exceeds 70% in each category, this mean that E – Layanan development is very useful. Also, with the existing of E – Layanan, academic service activities are greatly helped, especially on this Covid – 19 pandemic period. Keywords: Education; Management information system; public services. Abstrak: Pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik, baik secara umum maupun pada sektor – sektor tertentu, misalnya pendidikan, terutama pada saat seperti ini (pandemi covid - 19), di mana kegiatan sosial masyarakat beralih menggunakan bantuan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu layanan pendidikan yang ada di Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Surabaya untuk memudahkan mahasiswa dalam mengakses segala kebutuhan mengenai surat menyurat dan dinamakan dengan sistem informasi layanan akademik Fakultas Imu Pendidikan Unesa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), dengan menerapkan sembilan dari sepuluh langkah yang dikemukakan oleh Borg and Gall. Hasil penelitian ini adalah E – Layanan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan sesuai atau mendekati sempurna untuk digunakan, dengan hasil pada masing – masing tahap adalah sebagai berikut: (1) pada tahap pengujian awal (Preliminary Field Testing) mendapatkan presentase hasil melebihi 30% pada setiap kategorinya; (2) pada tahap pengujian yang kedua ditemukan beberapa hambatan tetapi dapat terselesaikan pada tahap selanjutnya; (3) pada tahap pengujian yang terakhir (Operational Product Testing) mendapat presentase hasil melebihi 70% pada masing – masing kategorinya, ini berarti bahwa pengembangan E – Layanan sangat berguna. Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to obtain cognitive profile of children with congenital visual impairment. The method used is research synthesis. The sample in this study is 11 research-based references on visual impairment. The data is collected using online search engine that is google scholar using specific keywords. The references were chosen based on the relevance with criteria set up for this study. The variables in each articles were then identified assuming that there should be at least one variable in each research-based article. There were 5 variables identified that are reasoning, memory, spatial orientation, vocabulary, and verbal reasoning. Variables, aspects, and indicators were identified using reduction and coding. The result in this study is presented in a matrix consisting variable, aspects, and indicators of cognitive ability of children with visual impairment.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kognitif anak dan remaja tunanetra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sintesis riset (research synthesis). Sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan 11 referensi ilmiah tentang ketunanetraan yang dianggap paling merepresentasikan fokus penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin pencari daring, yaitu melalui scholar.google.com, dengan memasukkan kata kunci tertentu. Referensi ilmiah dipilih berdasarkan kesesuaian dengan kriteria dan batasan dalam penelitian ini. Variabel diidentifikasi berdasarkan fokus dari masing-masing referensi ilmiah, dengan asumsi bahwa referensi dari hasil penelitian memiliki fokus variabel tertentu yang diukur. Adapun 5 variabel tersebut adalah penalaran, ingatan, orientasi spasial, perbendaharaan kata, dan penalaran kata. Variabel, aspek, dan indikator diidentifikasi melalui reduksi dan diberi coding. Hasil penelitian ini dituangkan dalam bentuk matriks yang menggambarkan variabel, aspek, dan indikator kemampuan kognitif anak tunanetra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sanitasi tangan otomatis yang ramah disabilitas untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan prototip alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sanitasi tangan otomatis yang ramah disabilitas. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi pendekatan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluation. Tahapan yang dilaksanakan pada penelitian ini sampai tahapan ketiga, dengan rincian sebagai berikut. (1) Analisis kebutuhan (pengumpulan informasi) melalui focus group discussion (FGD) untuk identifikasi kebutuhan penyandang disabilitas dan stakeholder terkait alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sanitasi tangan otomatis. (2) Desain, yaitu membuat konsep produk alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sanitasi tangan otomatis ramah disabilitas yang akan dikembangkan. Disabilitas yang disasar dalam penelitian ini adalah penyandang hambatan penglihatan dan pendengaran. Spesifikasi umum antara lain: memiliki sensor infrared serta mampu mengeluarkan suara dan visual untuk memandu penyandang disabilitas (3) Pengembangan produk, yaitu merancang produk alat pengukur suhu tubuh dan sanitasi tangan otomatis yang ramah disabilitas berdasarkan desain yang telah dibuat pada tahap sebelumnya. Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of the speech therapy application development process. This research produces an android application product that can be used in early intervention in speech therapy for children with intellectual disabilities. This development research is based on the development method of Gall, et al. (2007), and only carried out up to five stages, namely: 1) Research and information collecting (searching and collecting data), 2) Planning, 3) Develop preliminary form of product, 4) Preliminary field testing, 5) Main product revision. The data collection method in the form of a Likert scale was used in this study. Media validation was carried out by speech therapy content experts and media experts. The validation results from content experts obtained a score with a percentage of 88 percent and validation from media experts obtained a score of 93 percent. This indicates a very valid category, and this application is declared feasible and can be used. The results of the implementation for children with intellectual disabilities by giving a questionnaire obtained a percentage of 85 percent. Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan studi literatur tentang teknologi untuk mendidik anak-anak Tunarungu atau Sulit Mendengar (Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH)). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan sebanyak 21 artikel yang diterbitkan antara 2010 dan 2020 untuk dilakukan analisis bukti empiris mengenai pengalaman pendidikan anak-anak dan bagaimana penggunaan teknologi dapat mempengaruhi lingkungan ini. Kami mengevaluasi artikel tersebut berdasarkan kategori berikut: usia, tingkat kelas, teknologi, dan topik yang diajarkan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi untuk tujuan pendidikan memiliki hasil positif seperti bahasa isyarat dan penguasaan kosakata untuk anak-anak. Namun, pedoman aksesibilitas harus dipertimbangkan ketika mengembangkan teknologi untuk Tunarungu.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh model Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional siswa inklusi di SMAN 10 Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain pra-eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik inklusi di SMA Negeri 10 Surabaya yang berjumlah 10 orang. Pemilihan peserta didik tersebut didasari oleh karakteristik motorik dan keterampilan vokasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pre test 37,00 meningkat dan hasil post test 70,00. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan Zh 2.80 dan Zt 1.96, maka interprestasinya Ha > Ho. Jadi, Ha diterima, artinya terbukti bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Project based Learning bermedia video tutorial untuk meningkatkan vokasional siswa inklusi.
