Abstract

Development program is an effective program implemented continuously. Seeing the condition of the time children are more at home than when the child’s cerebral palsy is in school or therapy institute. So the role of parents of children cerebral palsy is very important to support the effectiveness of a mobile development program. The development goals are; 1) Describe prototype of motion building program for parents of cerebral palsy children, 2) Analyze the feasibility of developing prototype program of motion building for parents of children of cerebral palsy. This research uses R & D with 4D research design but in this research only in stage 3D or define, design, and develop because writer do not reach the stage of sale or dissemination of product considering the time limitations. The results of research that has been done, it can be seen that the development of this mobile development program has been successfully tested in assisting the process of continuous development program. This is demonstrated when a limited trial of the results of the development can help improve the effectiveness of a mobile development program that has sustainable properties to achieve the program’s objectives. The conclusion of the research are: 1) The product produced in this research is the development of motion building program for parents of children of cerebral palsy which is packed in book form, 2) This research produces decent product in the form of development of motion program for parents of cerbral palsy children. It is said to be eligible for fulfilling the criteria (a) valid according to the two validators of the material or content, (b) valid by the product design expert’s validator, (c) Category both in the researcher’s observation of the parent in understanding the movement program and applying it to the child’s cerebral palsy.

Abstract

Children with autism spectrum disorders need interventions to deal with communication, social interaction, and behavior problems. The Covid-19 pandemic has prevented children with autism spectrum disorders from performing face-to-face interventions outside the home. This study aims to describe the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on individuals with autism spectrum disorders and to describe the intervention efforts of individuals with spectrum disorders during the Covid-19 outbreak. This study uses a systematic literature review consisting of three main phases, planning the review, conducting the review, and reporting the review, by analyzing 17 articles. The results show that the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on children with autism is increased stress and anxiety. The cause of this anxiety stress is extreme routine changes that are difficult for children with autism spectrum disorders to experience. Some of the symptoms of behavioral changes as a result of this stress include anxiety, sleep disturbances, irritability, obsessions, impulsivity. Adolescents with autism spectrum disorders are also prone to depression. Therefore, intervention efforts that can be done are through telehealth (online health consultations and interventions), online learning, and family-based interventions with a variety of activities.

Abstract

This manual aims to make it easier for teachers to deal with the problems of mentally disabled children in terms of social interaction. The development of the teacher's manual uses the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, S, Semmeln, D, S & Semmel MI (1974) which has been modified with the following stages: define, design, and develop. Data collection techniques are used in assessment instruments to obtain validation data, observations to obtain data on children's abilities during learning activities, and teacher responses to the personal social tutoring teacher manual with role-playing techniques. Data analysis used quantitative description. The results showed that using the teacher's manual in personal social guidance with role-playing techniques increased the social interaction of mentally disabled children. After giving ten times treatments to mentally disabled children, the social interaction of mentally disabled children increased. Mentally disabled children were able to interact with their friends step by step. Step independently. This can be seen from the results of the practical value of the teacher's manual is 2.7, and the value of the effectiveness of the teacher's manual is 3.0. So we can conclude that using the teacher's manual in personal social guidance with role-playing techniques to increase the social interaction of mentally disabled children in inclusive elementary schools is feasible.
