Abstract

ABSTRAK: Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara berkembang tentu tidak akan terlepas dari berbagai permasalahan yang timbul akibat pembangunan terhadap ekosistem lingkungan permukimannya. Kondisi tersebut akan menyebabkan permukiman menjadi padat dan kumuh. Arsitektur memiliki berbagai ilmu pengetahuan yang berkaitan dengan permukiman, salah satunya adalah tinjauan konsep arsitektur ekologi. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi penerapan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur ekologi pada kawasan permukiman Kampung Sruni, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Jawa Tengah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan data primer melalui wawancara bersama salah satu masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal pada kawasan permukiman studi penelitian serta pengumpulan data sekunder melalui literatur penelitian mengenai Low Carbon Concept pada kawasan permukiman yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa permukiman Kampung Sruni Wonosobo telah memenuhi konsep arsitektur ekologis berdasarkan hasil identifikasi pada penerapan prinsip-prinsip arsitektur ekologi terhadap kawasan permukiman meskipun masih ada variabel ekologi yang belum terpenuhi. Penelitian ini akan memberikan implikasi positif terhadap gambaran serta pemahaman mengenai arsitektur ekologi khususnya pada kawasan permukiman sehingga perkembangan permukiman di Indonesia dapat terencana lebih baik dan dapat meminimalisir dampak negatif pembangunan terhadap ekosistem lingkungan Kata kunci:  arsitektur ekologi, ekosistem lingkungan, kawasan permukiman, prinsip arsitektur ekologi  ABSTRACT: Indonesia as a developing country will certainly not be separated from various problems that arise as a result of the development of its environmental ecosystem. These conditions will cause it to become dense and dense. Architecture has a variety of useful knowledge by utilizing, one of which is the concept of ecological architecture. The research was conducted to apply the principles of ecological architecture to the use area of Kampung Sruni, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out with primary data through interviews with one of the communities living in the research area and secondary data collection through research on Low Carbon Concepts in the studied area. The results of this study found that the principle of Sruni Wonoso Village has fulfilled the concept of ecological architecture based on the results of the application of the principles of ecological architecture to the area even though there are still unfulfilled ecology. This research will have a positive impact on the description and understanding of architecture, especially in the area so that environmental development in Indonesia can be better planned and can minimize the negative impact of development on environmental ecosystems. Keywords: architectural principles, ecological architecture, environmental ecosystems, residential areas

Abstract

Kampung Akuarium is an urban village located in Jakarta. It is located in the red zone according to the municipal regulation on the detailed spatial plan. Based on the regulation, Kampung Akuarium is delineated as the area intended for the local government needs. This research was conducted to investigate the utilization of the municipal regulation on land use control in Kampung Akuarium. This research also aims to reveal the role of municipal regulation to solve the problem in the Kampung Akuarium. This research utilizes the descriptive-qualitative method. The data was collected through an extensive literature review. The result shows that the development control is not well applied in the development of Kampung Akuarium. The land-use control mechanism still caused several conflicts which burden the urban village dwellers.

Abstract

Settlement is one of the urban development variables which has an important role in urban development. Urban development will always face various problems, especially those caused by settlements. These problems are related to the construction of settlements that are not in harmony with their environmental ecosystem. Based on these issues, ecological architecture is one of the architectural sciences that can be applied in planning and designing residential areas. This research was conducted with the aim of understanding and identifying the application of the principles of ecological architecture in a settlement. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with primary data in the form of interview-related interviewees and secondary data in the form of literature studies. The analysis was carried out based on the ecological architectural variables which were arranged systematically. The study of the concept of ecological architecture was carried out in a settlement that has attempted to apply several principles of ecological architecture. The residential area is Kampung Glintung, a city known as Kampung Kultur or Kampung 3G (Glintung Go Green). The preparation of this research is expected to provide an understanding of the concept of ecological architecture and provide an overview of the importance of planning and designing environmental-based residential areas to support urban survival and the people who live in it.
