Abstract

Corn is a source of food. Potential corn commodity to be developed as industrial raw material. The value of maize production in Lampung Province fluctuated in 2015-2019. The increase of economies of scale in Lampung Province can be overcome by processing corn into corn marning. The corn marning business in Karang Anyar Village is developed on a household scale. The purpose of this study was to analyze the investment and sensitivity level of maize in home industries in Karang Anyar Village, Gedong Tataan District, Pesawaran Regency. The data used in the study consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by interviewing, observing, and recording techniques, while secondary data were obtained from BPS, Koperindag Pesawaran, and other literature. This research is a survey research with qualitative and quantitative research types. The population that is the object of this research is 26 MSME actors with the type of household industry which is well known in Karang Anyar Village determined by the census method.  The analysis used is the analysis of investment criteria using Microsoft Excel and the calculation of linear trend analysis (Least Squares Method). Based on the results of calculations using investment criteria analysis, the NPV value is Rp.22,661,178.00, IRR is 61%, Net B/C is 2.29, BEP is achieved over 4 years 8 months 3 days, and PBP is achieved in a period 1 Year 4 Month 3 Days. The result of the sensitivity analysis to inflation is that 5% of the business is still feasible to run. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the IRT of corn marning is feasible to run and develop so that it is necessary to carry out business development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the distribution pattern of the people's scale pineapple commodity supply chain in Punggur District, calculate the marketing margin in the supply chain for community scale pineapple commodities in Punggur District, and analyze the value added of agro-industry. pineapple on the people's scale in Punggur District. The sampling method was simple random sampling. The number of samples for pineapple farmers was taken as many as 39 people and traders involved in pineapple supply chain channels, pineapple agro-industry players and end consumers. The method used to take samples of traders and end consumers with the snowball method is to follow the flow of the pineapple commodity supply chain from producers to consumers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The added value of the pineapple agro-industry was analyzed using the calculation of the added value of hayami. The results showed that the pineapple supply chain actors in the research area included; farmers, traders, retailers, and pineapple agro-industry. Farmers as pineapple cultivators are the primary members of the people's scale pineapple supply chain. The target market for people's scale pineapple products is the domestic market, namely markets inside and outside the province of Lampung. The distribution pattern of the dominant pineapple supply chain through intermediaries consists of 3 patterns. The products sold have 3 standards, namely grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. The marketing margin of fresh pineapple agribusiness between farmers and collectors is 26.51%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam produksi sawi putih dan menganalisis ekonomi skala usaha sawi putih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Kecamatan Gisting, Kabupaten Tanggamus dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 52 petani. Analisis yang digunakan adalah Fungsi Produksi Cobb-Douglas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh dalam produksi sawi putih pada taraf nyata 10% yaitu luas lahan (X1), pupuk tunggal urea (X3), pupuk majemuk NPK (X4), pestisida (X5), dan Dummy pupuk kandang (D), Sedangkan faktor yang tidak berpengaruh nyata dalam produksi sawi putih yaitu benih (X2) dan tenaga kerja (X6). Skala ekonomi atau return to scale menunjukkan nilai 1,076, pada posisi ini skala ekonomi usahatani sawi putih berada pada kondisi increasing returns to scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini terkait penyelesaian soal tipe HOTS berdasarkan Langkah Polya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika tipe Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) dalam pokok bahasan Aljabar pada kelas VII menggunkan Langkah Polya. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatitf dimana subjeknya merupakan siswa kelas VII Muhammadiyah 8 Surakarta. Subjek dipilih dengan cara pemberian tes penalaran berupa soal HOTS yang dimana soalnya harus diselesaikan menggunakan Langkah Polya. Diperoleh siswa dengan tingkat penalaran tinggi, penalaran sedang, dan penalaran rendah. Setelah memperoleh siswa dengan tingkat penalaran yang berbeda, siswa melakukan wawancara. Adapun tingkatan penalaran dinilai berdasarkan tahapan pemecahan Langkah Polya, yaitu memahami masalah, menyusun dan melaksanakan rencana, serta memeriksa ulang hasil perhitungan. Berdasarkan analisis data, siswa yang kemampuannya tinggi dapat memahami masalah, menyusun dan melaksanakan rencana secara tepat, juga dapat memeriksa ulang jawaban yang telah diperoleh. Siswa berkemampuan sedang juga mampu memahami masalah, menyusun dan melaksanakan rencana dengan tepat, tetapi siswa tidak melakukan tahap memeriksa ulang. Siswa berkemampuan rendah tidak mampu dalam menyusun rencana sebelum melakukan rencana, serta siswa tidak melakukan kegiatan memeriksa ulang hasil jawaban siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta (UNS) seeks to improve services in the cleaning sector, with the aim that students feel comfortable while on campus. Improving cleaning services can be done by applying the assessment and measurement of the performance of the cleaning staff. Performance appraisal is carried out based on performance reports collected by the cleaning staff. In compiling reports on the performance of the cleaning staff, they still use the manual method. The manual method used is to record all work activities into a book, then recap the notes to the Microsoft Excel application. The current method is considered less effective and efficient because it takes a relatively long time to compile a report. The cleaning staff is sometimes late in submitting performance reports, so the assessment cannot be done on time. Based on these problems, a website-based employee performance reporting system is designed, so that it can help provide convenience and support cleaning staff in improving their performance. The method used to design information systems is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model. The employee performance reporting system is made using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. With this system, the cleaning staff is more efficient and effective in presenting performance reports so that they can be assessed on time. Keywords: Information System, Performance, PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influences of the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) on rainfall in three districts in South Aceh. The analysis was undertaken using Dipole Mode Index (DMI) data and five years of rainfall (2016 to 2020) in West Labuhan Haji, Tapak Tuan, and Bakongan areas. This research employed a correlation analysis and the Principal Component Analysis, followed by Cluster Analysis to investigate the relationship between IOD and rainfall at the study location. The negative IOD occurred in 2016, and the positive IOD occurred in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. The strongest positive DMI was in October 2019 (1.123˚C), while the strongest negative DMI was in July 2016 (0.661˚C). Generally, the sub-districts of West Labuhan Haji, Tapak Tuan, and Bakongan always have high rainfall. The highest rainfall in West Labuhan Haji was recorded in January 2017 (1014 mm/month), in Tapak Tuan in November 2017 (1073 mm/month), and in Bakongan in July 2020 (605 mm/month). The correlation between DMI and rainfall in the three locations shows different findings. Although it was very small, the IOD affected the rainfall in West Labuhan Haji, Tapak Tuan, and Bakongan. In West Labuhan Haji, the highest correlation was in lag 1 (0.188); in Tapak Tuan, the highest correlation was in lag 2 (0.156), while in Bakongan, the highest correlation was in lag 2 (-0.191). The correlations in these three locations are considered weak. Thus, the IOD is not the main factor affecting the rainfall in West Labuhan Haji, Tapak Tuan, and Bakongan. Abstract

Pepper production Lampung grow slower and lower caused by among others 25,34% of plants on unyield condition. It also impacts on pepper export performance. This research aims to analize the factors influencing the pepper production and income of the farmers. Production centre in North Lampung is represented by Abung Tinggi subdistrict as research location. It was conducted on May until August 2012. Thirty pepper farmers were purposively choosen as respondents. They are members in farmer institution group at Pulau Panggung and Sukamarga villages. Analysis was done through Cobb Douglas production function and multiple regression. The result of research performed shows that the pepper production is influenced by seed, fertilizer, labor¸ and dummy variable of institution performance. In the other hand, farmers’ income has also been influenced significantly by pepper production, member of labors family, and dummy variable of institution performance.Key words: production, income, farmers institution

Abstract

Lampung Province is  a centre of sugarcane production.  Mostly, sugarcane plantation is developed by corporate in Lampung.  Only 15% sugarcane plantation produced by farmer in rural.  Unfortunately, sugarcane farmers in Lampung still dominated by small scale plantation.  They still face clasical problem in providing input production caused by the limited capital. The research aims to analysis sugarcane production, labor allocation, and consumption pattern.  The research conducted on July to November 2012 located in Bandar Agung village, Muara Sungkai subdistrict, North Lampung regency, Lampung Province.  Thirty respondents was choosen purposively.  Analysis data arranged as econometric model with partial equilibrium.  Based on result and discussion performed that sugarcane production model significanly explained by land, urea, SP36 fertilier, labor, and land dummy variable.  Labor allocation in sugarcane farming determined by household total income, member of family labor, sugarcane land area, and food consumption.   Sugarcane farmer on food consumption influenced by household total income, member of family, and saving. Key words:  sugarcane, production, labor allocation, consumption, food

Abstract

Development issues in the fisheries sub-sector is one of fishery products easily damaged and nonperishable, its implications need special handling and good processing of fish.To inhibit the growth of microorganisms that cause decaying in fish can be done two ways, namely the preservation of traditional and modern fishing. One of traditionally  fish preservation  is done  by salting or often called stockfish. This study aims to analyze the production process and the factors that influence the production of salted anchovies fish agro- industry in labuhan Maringgai subdistrict East Lampung regency. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. The study was conducted from June to November 2012. Data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitatively by using multiple regression statistical analysis approach of cobb-douglas production function. The results of this research showed the production of salted anchovies were done traditionally, with the production of agro-processing stages include salted anchovies; sorting of raw materials, washing, boiling, draining, drying, sorting, packaging, and marketing.  Resulted average production anchovies agro- industry reached 593.33 kg per period, the annual production capacity reaches 170 times. The factors that significantly affect the production of salted fish agro- industry is raw fish , sinks, deep soaking tubs, and a dummy use of ice, while the factors that did not significantly affect the production of salted anchovies agro- industry is salt, labor, and drying place.Elasticity value of  Agro-industry productionof  salted anchovies fish preservation in the research area is 1.006 which means Elasticity Production (EP> 1), indicating that the scale of agro economy salted anchovy fish preservation in condition increasing return to scale, the addition of the factors of production will lead to increase a greater production  . Keywords: anchovies, production, processing, preservation, and agro-industry.

Abstract

Corn is food plant which has important rule in contributing food for human and livestock.  This research aims to analyse the factors which Influence Corn Production and condition economic scale of of corn farming.  This research was conducted in Jatiagung subdistrict  on May-September 2007.  Analyse method of it used Statistic analysis method of double regression with Cobb-douglas production fuction.  The result of this research indicates the factors which Influence Corn Production are length of land farming , KCL fertilizer, organic fertilizer labor and factors which do not Influence corn production are seed, urea fertilizer, TSP fertilizer and the desire of farmers take the risk of corn farming.    Elasticity of corn farming in the research area is 1,17 . It means that it is increasing return to scale.  It indicates that additional of production factors will cause bigger production additional. . Key Words: Production, Economic return to scale, cobb douglas, production elasticity
