Abstract

Innovation is an important aspect in the nation's competitiveness. Technology transfer is required to bring invention into innovation. However, the implementation technology transfer, especially commercialization technology is still considerably low. This challenge is faced by Indonesian Agency for Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD) to commercialize Indonesian rice varieties. Adoption and interest of Industry in the commercialization of varieties invented by IAARD in 2019 was only 11%. This study aims to build roadmap business strategy for commercialization rice varieties invented by IAARD. The method used in this research was a business model canvas approach, SWOT analysis, and a strategic roadmap. The results showed that there were 11 strategies that can be applied in four approaches , namely a) intensive strategy: expanding and mapping new customer segmentation, optimizing promotion mechanisms and attracting new partners, and strengthening the organizational structure of implementing technology transfer, b) turn-around strategy: adding and increasing HR competence, planning R&D activities by measuring Technology Readiness Level (TRL or TKT), and increasing the capacity of facilities and infrastructure, c) diversification strategy: improving the quality of rice varieties and commercial technology transfer services, pre-licensing, and d) consolidation strategy: building information systems, collaborative alliances with stakeholders, and valuation of intangible assets. The strategies were described in 19 programs mapped on a strategy roadmap of transfer of technology on commercialization rice variety invented by IAARD.

Abstract

This paper is aimed to analyzing the effect of labor social norms named julo-julo on the performance of kopay chili farming in Payakumbuh city. Structural Equational Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) was used to analize the effect of social norm on the performance of kopay chili farming. The primary data used is taken through observation and interview process, meanwhile secondary data obtained from related institution. The selected samples were all 53 farmers of kopay chili in Payakumbuh City. The research results showed that thevariable of social norm has positif and significant effect on farmers’ performancewith the influence coefficient 0.317. The most dominant social norm that influence farming performance is providing aid to each other (λ) 0.894. Hence, government should be able to optimize social norm of julo-julo labor in desingning farming development strategies to improve the performance of kopay chili farming. Abstract

Changes in the children's learning curriculum that emphasize children's activities and experiences not just reading material, making agro-tourism an alternative learning media for interaction that is chosen by the school. As one of the agro-education objects, Sentulfresh needs always to evaluate their performance of the marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence) through visitor satisfaction and trust. This study aims to analyze the marketing mix variables that affect the satisfaction variable, the effect of satisfaction on trust and the satisfaction level of Sentulfresh visitors. Data collection was carried out on 70 respondents who had visited Sentulfresh. The data analysis method used were the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). SEM-PLS analysis results show that all marketing mix variables have no significant effect on visitor satisfaction, while satisfaction has a significant effect on visitor trust. CSI analysis results shows that Sentulfresh visitor satisfaction is at the “satisfied” level.
