Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi adanya keluhan orang tua/wali anak prasekolah TK Santa Theresia yang mengatakan bahwa 8 dari 10 orang tua/wali sering mengikuti keinginan anak untuk menentukan waktu tidur sehingga tidak konsisten, 4 orang tua/wali mengatakan anaknya tidur malam dengan pencahayaan, 3 orang tua/wali mengatakan ada anak yang tidur bersama dengan binatang peliharaan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menggambarkan sleep hygiene pada anak prasekolah. Sleep hygiene adalah variasi praktik untuk mencapai tidur normal yang berkualitas dan kewaspadaan penuh disiang hari. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Sampel sebanyak 110 orang tua/wali di TK Santa Theresia Cimahi dengan menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner Children Sleep Hygiene Scale (CSHS) yang terdiri dari 6 sub variabel yaitu fisiologikal, kognitif, emosional, lingkungan, rutinitas waktu tidur dan kestabilan tidur. Nilai reliabilitas menggunakan alpha Cronbach adalah 0,749 yaitu reliabel. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pada sub variabel sleep hygiene didapatkan hasil sebagian responden 58 anak (52.7%) memiliki sleep hygiene baik dan 52 anak (47.3%) sleep hygiene buruk. Saran bagi orang tua/wali agar membatasi air mineral yang diminum oleh anak saat sebelum tidur.

Abstract

Description of characteristics of critical patients in area critical unit. The entry characteristics of intensive care units are necessary for the development of critical care services. The criteria of patients who are in intensive care are critical patients with instability or organ system failure that require intensive management. The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of critical patients in the critical unit. Method used in this research is quantitative with descriptive design that uses secondary data. The data was obtained from the medical records of HCU-ICU state hospitals in West Bandung Regency with 167 samples. Results of the study showed that the majority of critical patients are female (63.5%), aged 56 - 65 years (28.1%), cardiac disease comorbidity (19.8%), emergency installation room origin (IGD) (55.7%), primary diagnosis of neurological disorders (25.7%), using monitors during HCU-ICU (97%), using antibiotics while in HCU-ICU (50.3%), length of treatment > 7 days (88%), and prognosis of patients cured or moved to the infirmary (75.4%). The results of this study of gender and age characteristics with comorbid and primary diagnoses obtained by critical patients showed most middle-aged women aged 56-65 years comorbid heart disease with neurological disorders so more research is needed on other characteristics to provide a more comprehensive understanding.

Abstract

Objective: Covid-19 pandemic is a non-natural disaster. Everyone, including children, becomes stressed, to prevent transmission of the virus, an adaptation of new habits is needed, so it is necessary to provide knowledge in the form of repeated education related to new normal adaptation to improve physical health. This is necessary so that the child's ability to apply the new normal adaptation is consistent. This new normal adaptation is a necessary step to determine the readiness of elementary school children to conduct limited face-to-face learningMethods:  This article used a pre-experimental design, namely by means of a one-group pre-test-post-test design for 73 elementary school students in Bandung. The child is given a pre-test regarding the new normal adaptation and then a video is given about physical health that must be considered in the new normal adaptation, after which a post-test assessment is carried out. Bivariate Analysis Using the Wilcoxon test.  Results: The results of the study found that there was an influence before being given physical health education about covid-19 on the ability of elementary school students to implement the new normal adaptation. Conclusion:  Researchers suggest parents and teachers to keep reminding their children to adapt to new habits.

Abstract

The incidence of Urinary Tract Infection in Indonesia ranks second which often attacks women's health. The preliminary study found that 1 out of 18 female students had urinary tract infections with four recurring events. The research objective was to describe self awareness about vulva hygiene measures in adult women in preventing urinary tract infections. Self awareness is a person's intelligence in placing himself in certain situations and conditions and what he should do. This research uses quantitative methods. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with 195 female students as respondents. The instrument uses a google form questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that 137 respondents (70.2%) had high self-awareness to recognize feelings and behaviors, 190 respondents (97.5%) had high self-awareness to recognize strengths and weaknesses, 162 respondents (83.1%) had self-awareness have high self-awareness, 108 respondents (55.4%) have high self-awareness of making the right decisions, 170 respondents (87.2%) have self-awareness skilled at expressing thoughts, feelings, opinions, and high beliefs, 112 respondents (57.5 %) have moderate self-awareness in self-evaluating. The conclusion of the study is that most of the adult women's self-awareness is high regarding vulva hygiene measures in preventing urinary tract infections. The researcher suggests further researchers to be able to find other variables related to vulva hygiene measures in preventing urinary tract infections.
