Abstract

Group guidance is one of the guidance and counseling service settings carried out by counselors for vocational high school students. Group guidance is a form of service provided by counselors to counselees / students to make decisions by utilizing group dynamics. The group dynamics that occur during the guidance will encourage each member to interact. Socrates dialogue is a dialogue technique in depth to examine the thoughts that arise from the information provided in a process of interaction. This study aims to describe the acceptability of the Socrates dialogue technique group guidance guide within the framework of a problem-based learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of vocational school students. Guidance analysis technique used Aiken rater analysis with tests by two counseling and guidance experts. The results of the analysis based on expert testing obtained the clarity aspect validity index of 0.83 (high) and the accuracy aspect validity index of 0.83 (high). Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the guidelines have met the acceptance criteria for the aspects of clarity and accuracy to be used as a group guidance guide for vocational students.

Abstract

Pendidikan bagi peserta didik telah memasuki paradigma baru di masa pandemi COVID-19 pada lima bulan terakhir. Kebijakan yang ditempuh pemerintah dengan menetapkan merdeka belajar menjadi era baru dalam dunia pendidikan. Peserta didik pada satuan tingkat pendidikan dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi perlu menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi baru dalam proses belajar era merdeka belajar masa kini. Situasi pandemi COVID-19 mengajak pendidikan untuk melakukan aktivitas belajar dan pembelajaran secara tidak langsung melalui media berbasis online dengan memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi informasi hasil revolusi industri 4.0. Pendidikan melalui media berbasis online memberikan peluang bagi peserta didik untuk berkembang secara mandiri dengan pembinaan dan bimbingan dari para pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan pada tingkat dasar hingga pendidikan tinggi. Peserta didik membutuhkan bentuk pendidikan yang tepat agar mampu menyesuaikan kondisi pribadi dengan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan dalam pendidikan era merdeka belajar. Pendidikan berpikir kritis menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi peserta didik untuk membekali aspek fisik dan psikis agar mampu menyesuaikan diri dalam pendidikan di era medeka belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan gambaran deskriptif mengenai pentingnya pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik di era merdeka belajar. metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka. sumber data adalah artikel penelitian dan buku-buku yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis isi (conten analys) dan instrumen penelitian berupa chek list sumber data penelitian yang di butuhkan. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik menjadi kebutuhan penting di era merdeka belajar. sehingga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan perlu menyediakan fasilitas dalam menyediakan pendidikan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract: The Indonesian nation as a large nation consisting of various religions, ethnicities, and cultures, of course, deserves to have the aspiration to have a basic human philosophy paradigm based on Indonesian culture based on dialogue between the soul sciences that live in Indonesian human cognition. This study aims to present the concept of basic human philosophy in the teachings of Ki Ageng Suryomentaram. The research method uses Gadamerian hermeneutics in a qualitative approach. The collected data is then analyzed using Parts and Whole analysis and then checked the validity of the data through the stages of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results of the study describe human philosophy based on basic needs, essence, existence, and the structure of the human personality. The conclusion of the research refers to the basic human philosophy based on local wisdom for the science of guidance and counseling. Abstrak: Bangsa Indonesia sebagai bangsa besar yang terdiri dari berbagai macam agama, suku dan budaya, tentunya layak jika memiliki cita-cita memiliki paradigma filsafat dasar manusia berbasis budaya khas Indonesia dengan berlandasakan dialog antara ilmu-ilmu jiwa yang hidup dalam kognisi manusia Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyajikan konsep filsafat dasar manusia dalam ajaran Ki Ageng Suryomentaram. Metode penelitian menggunakan hermeneutika Gadamerian dalam pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis Parts and Whole dan selanjutnya dicek keabsahan datanya melalui tahapan kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menjabarkan filsafat manusia berdasarkan kebutuhan dasar, esensi, eksistensi, dan struktur kepribadian manusia. Kesimpualan penelitian mereferensikan filsafat dasar manusia berbasis kearifan lokal untuk ilmu bimbingan dan konseling.

Abstract

The development of the world of information technology has an impact on the moral condition of the millennial generation. Millennials are individuals who are in the age range of 18-25 years. The ease of accessing technological devices ultimately causes a sense of caring and tolerance among individuals to decrease. Moral is a collection of care, tolerance and responsibility that supports individuals to be able to adapt to various conditions of change that occur. Moral is one of the targets of Islamic guidance and counseling services in the personal and social fields, as well as the main component of character building for the millennial generation. This study aims to provide an analysis of the problematic condition of moral aspects experienced by the millennial generation in the perspective of Islamic guidance and counseling. This study uses a descriptive approach with a literature study method. The data of this study used articles from research results in the last two years. The results of the literature review show that the moral problems experienced by the millennial generation can becaused by internal and external factors. Keywords: morals, millennial generation, islamic guidance and counseling.

Abstract

Mind skills become the counselor’s internal competencies that support the counselor’s self-development in providing guidance and counseling services. Mind skills consist of six components that are interrelated and often integrated. The metacognitive thinking process is the key to success in how counselors can manage their thoughts and mental states through these six components. This study examined the success of the reverse roleplay training strategy to improve the counselor’s mind skills. The method was quasi-experimental quantitative with a pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were 31 counselors in Malang Raya, Indonesia. Data analysis in this study used two stages, descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis test. The results showed that the counselor’s mind skills achievements before and after the intervention marked a difference with significant increase. Reverse roleplay increased the participants’ understanding and experience of the thoughts, perceptions, and feelings from broader perspectives. The counselor’s mental experiences involved during counseling sessions become a “full presence” for the therapeutic relationship. This research suggests further research to explore the counselor’s mental experiences in detail. As for practical implication, the reverse roleplay is recommended as a training design for improving the internal competencies of counselors and educators in general.
