Abstract

Digital platform’s development can improve students' abilities and quality in learning Arabic. This research aims to reveal Arabic language learning through digital platforms. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out through primary data sources, namely master students in Arabic language education at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, class B, the first semester of 2023, and secondary data sources included documents in the form of journals, websites and applications. Data collection techniques use documents and interviews. Data analysis is in the form of data reduction, data classification, data analysis, and conclusions. The results of this research show that learning Arabic through digital platforms includes three factors, namely learning media, social media, and digital dictionaries. Learning media include Duolingo, Kahoot, and Quizziz. Social media includes Instagram, WhatsApp and TikTok. As well as digital dictionaries including Google Translate, Bing Translator, and Ma'ani Dictionary.

Abstract

Arabic can increase student intelligence, because Arabic has a beautiful language structure, so students are required to be able to analyze every change in words, position, function and meaning. In this way, students will be trained to optimize their imagination to increase their intelligence. This research aims to determine the role of Arabic in increasing students' intelligence. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use interviews and documents. The object of this research was students from the Imam al Hanafi Islamic boarding school, North Sumatra. The results of this research show that Arabic has a role in increasing student intelligence, as evidenced by three factors, namely the arguments of naqli and aqli, student learning outcomes, and Arabiyah musabaqah.

Abstract

Factors that cause difficulties in learning Arabic are internal and external factors. This research aims to analyze the factors of difficulty learning Arabic. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques use interviews and documents. Data analysis in the form of data reduction, data classification, data analysis and conclusions. The object of this research is based on Arabic language education master's students at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang 2023 and Arabic language education students at UIN Alauddin Makassar 2023. The results of this research explain that difficulties in learning Arabic are caused by three factors, including differences in students' educational backgrounds, weak mastery. Arabic vocabulary, as well as lack of interest and motivation to learn. The differences in students' educational backgrounds include graduates of Islamic boarding schools, Madrasah Aliyah, and superior schools. Weak mastery of Arabic vocabulary includes qawaid and tarkib, aswat arabiyah as well as imla and insha. Meanwhile, lack of interest and motivation includes the weak role of parents, teachers and self-motivation. Based on these difficulty factors as evaluation material in learning Arabic to achieve the expected learning outcomes
