Abstract

This study aims to examine the survival and growth of chrysanthemum plants on Arduino-based automatic watering. The procedure of this research included making the ardiuno uno automatic watering device, planting potted chrysanthemum, testing the tool and collecting data on the growth and humidity of potted chrysanthemum. The experiment consisted of 2 treatments, namely watering using an Arduino software based on a humidity sensor and manual watering. The plant varieties used in this study were yellow standard chrysanthemum, red standard chrysanthemum and white standard chrysanthemum. After the plants were 2 weeks after planting (MST), vegetative growth was measured once a week for 7 weeks. Survival analysis was carried out by calculating the percentage of live and dead individual watering results. Growth analysis was performed by multivariete cluster analysis and bioplots using the paleontological statistics (PAST) program. The results of the calculation of the survival percentage show that the watering that has the best survival is arduino uno(DA) watering with 83% and the survival from manual watering (KO) is 80%. The results of the adaptation similarity analysis based on growth characteristics can be grouped into 2 parts. The first group with adaptive characters were DA-SP, KO-SP, KO-SK and DA-SK. The second group with more adaptive characters were DA-SM and KO-SM.

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical conditions are included in natural disaster-prone areas. Indonesia itself is located in the Ring of Fire on Pacific Rims, which often results in earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. The Ring of Fire on Pacific Rims itself is home to active volcanoes in the world and about 90% of the places where earthquakes occur. About 13% of the total number of volcanoes in the world are in Indonesia, including 500 volcanoes with inactive status, and 129 volcanoes with active status, have a large enough eruption potential to reach 60% of the number of volcanoes scattered, besides having a horseshoe-like shape and can cover an area of 40,000 km (Gosal et al., 2018). Natural disasters that occur certainly have an impact on people's homes which are also destroyed. Many people were killed, injured, and lost their homes. The implementation of this community service received a grant from the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) PP Muhammadiyah which will be distributed to victims of natural disasters in one of the earthquake disaster locations in Cianjur, by distributing logistics this community service activity is designed so that Lecturers of Muhammadiyah A.R Fachruddin University Tangerang can carry out the obligations of the Chess Dharma of Higher Education and can help the Cianjur community in overcoming trauma after the earthquake natural disaster in November 2022

Abstract

This study investigates how the Sinar Mutiara SMM in the Karang Serang VillageĀ  uses the Blocplan to create a working layout. The aim is to improve operational efficiency by optimizing the configuration of working components such as machines and equipment. The Blocplan method is used to analyze data collected from SMEs through observations and interviews. Research results show that using the Blocplan effectively reduces material distances and production time, and also improves space usage. It is hoped that this implementation will be an example for other SMEs to improve efficiency and productivity. In addition, research finds problems such as adaptation to change and resource constraints. For successful implementation in the future, this issue needs to be addressed.
